GIVE US A TASTE: Melantha lives with her past though she will not admit it to many people, not even herself. She does not deny that it happened to her but she refuses to believe that her previous life is still engrained in her today. This causes her to be very tightly wound. She hates to lose control of herself almost as much as she hates the feeling of being beneath others. Those two aspects are just part of her personality that stems back to her life underneath Lucious de Lamorté. She is a very driven woman today. Melantha works most days of the week and very late hours as she is motivated to see things get done. She also hates to lose especially when she considers herself to be in the right, which it turns out is a vast majority of the time. She does not usually keep her opinions to herself unless the wiser course of action is to do so. Otherwise she has no issues with laying matters bare before others. She has a keen intellect when it comes to reading others and usually relies on it more than she should. It takes her completely by surprise when this intuition fails her. Her loyalty once earned is steadfast regardless if the other person has obvious faults. She watches out for those who have earned her trust and the ones she has come to care about. She is not shy around men but she does not seem to open up to many of them instead preferring to dance around them in intricate circles. She has been known to fall though and when she falls she falls hard. She has a wicked sense of humor when the mood strikes her and she is never afraid to smile or laugh at the world, as long as she is the one doing the laughing and not the one being laughed at.
