So in the Game Design course I took, myself and 4 other dudes made a game in 4 months for our final project. It was called 'Bloom'.
Here's some links.
Bloom WebsiteIt was a mod of Unreal 2004. If you have UT2K4, you can play it.
You should totally watch the Intro though.
VFS pageHere they show our shitty old trailer... that had to be sped up for some reason... and refuse to upload the new one. I will punch them. Some screen shots are there though.
So yeah, I was the level designer on this project. I designed the level from concept to finish, modeled the entirety of the world art, placed the encounters, directed all in-game machinima and did the animations for the OD1N (Sentinel) and the OHZY (Helper) bot.
People tell us that we had a pretty good game.
ELANS Award NominationsI think it was alright... but I think it could have been so much more if we had more time and perhaps a slightly bigger team. It's all good though. Got 4 of the 5 of us a job in the industry pretty well right away out of school.
What do you guys think?
