..go to any period of time, where would you go?

Captain_Toasty - February 13, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
the far future. Just to see what it's like, what happens, what we're capable of.

Last Wednesday. It was a good day. ^.^

Seriously, though? Not sure. The Middle Ages sound cool and all, but naw. Future would be best. Enough ahead to be considered a curiosity, but not too far to end up in a deserted world.

Right now I feel like going back to 1993 and playing some old school games on my Amiga. I mean there's nothing to stop me playing on it now, I just can't be arsed to set it up.

Then maybe I'd go back to 1988 and watch Die Hard on the big screen. Actually now that I think about it I could go to the future and watch Die Hard 5 as well. With a time machine you don't have to wait for new movies to come out.

I'd jump... about a hundred years in the future, to find out what technology I stole from the time and took back with me to make myself some kind of ultrarich human-computer hybrid with digital immortality. Then I'd bring it back and do exactly that.

I'd go back into the year 198X and kill most of you while you slept in your cribs.

Medieval Europe or Feudal Japan. :P

After brushing up my piloting skills I'd fly a plane back to the time of the crusades and fly it into the biggest mosque I can find. :o

Or, alternatively, back to the dawn of time, taking with me enough usable sources of knowledge, and use these to found a civilisation greater than any other and found a vast utopian empire dedicated to the sole purpose of worshipping and -in case of women- pleasing me.

It needs a name.
