MrFrost - February 19, 2008 08:02 PM (GMT)
I've tried a number of christan religions but i never could get into them. Currently I just believe in God and Christ... and booze.

delita - February 21, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
theres something going on that we don't know and theres no use trying to figure out what it is because we'll just be wrong
Liberty - February 21, 2008 06:51 AM (GMT)
Adventist. Seventh Day. Yeah. Me.
On another note, an atheist is someone who has studied every religion and come to the conclusion that there is no higher spiritual life form than man. If you don't believe in a god for no reason then you're not an atheist.
You're agnostic.
One-t - February 21, 2008 08:31 AM (GMT)
belsammael - February 21, 2008 08:55 AM (GMT)
Someone mention Satan? Comes with Paganism, just another force of nature. Might have its uses from time to time.
FrozenDarkness - February 21, 2008 09:34 AM (GMT)
Mormon by baptism.
Currently consider myself just a theist.
If I ever go back to religion, I'll either wind up LDS or Muslim.

An argument? AN ARGUEMENT!? No, no, my friend. This is a CRUSADE.
*KK4 summons the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of Malta, and the Society of Jesus.
Yeah, motherfuckers.
BrianOnTheRocks - February 21, 2008 09:55 PM (GMT)
I'm spiritual, but not religious.
The only doctrine I seriously follow is Bushido. Some might also call it 'Chivalry' in modern times.
A word of advice:
Debating religious prospects is OK, but insulting and arguing about things you DO NOT UNDERSTAND will get you nowhere. Especially considering the fate of those who believe in such faiths when they willingly thrash on 'infidels.' Why such a bold claim to your ignorance? Because by any of those faiths, you find out when you die. The end. Discussion over. There is no place in the history of mankind where a 'Crusade' was welcomed in clear view of the repercussions. Freedom of speech, not freedom of pushing your shit on other people.
In other words:
Grow up.
On a more awesome note:
One-t, you're fucking hilarious.

human life existing for no reason and we're just on some blue rock flying through space without any purpose is an even more ridiculous idea than christianity

The Morphine Child - February 22, 2008 07:14 AM (GMT)
Bushido is only good for knowing how to honorably cut someone in half with a big ass chopping stick... Other than that, it's just (un)common courtesy :D
Dajhail - February 22, 2008 09:24 AM (GMT)

It has nothing to do with cutting people in half. It's quite the opposite.
| QUOTE |
| Bushidō, meaning "Way of the Warrior", is a Japanese code of conduct and a way of life, loosely analogous to the concept of chivalry. It originates from the samurai moral code and stresses frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery and honour unto death. Born of two main influences, the violent existence of the Samurai was tempered by the wisdom and serenity of Confucianism and Buddhism. Bushidō developed between the 9th to 12th centuries and numerous translated documents dating from the 12th to 16th centuries demonstrate its wide influence across the whole of Japan. |
More so, they follow 7 virtues which can be applied to every day life.
Justice
Courage
Benevolence
Respect
Truth
Honour
Loyalty
It is all so very Bohemian when the Samurai chose to follow their heart in choosing what is right and what is wrong. I enjoy these principles because they mirror my own beliefs. And that is the way people should choose their path... by trusting themselves and not what others tell them is the way.
IMHO.

*picks up the phone and calls the internets*
Hello internets?
Yeah, we have someone taking you seriously again.
Oh, you'll take care of it? Cool.
*hangs up*
KK4 - February 23, 2008 05:36 PM (GMT)
Man, when will people finally settle down and realize that religion has nothing to do with personal morality and everything to do with making you do as I say and giving me your money? Come on gents, we can't be naive kids forever. It is time to realize that things are never as sugarcoated as we want to believe.
Also, make with the weekly tithe, I want to go drinking tonight.

KK4 - February 23, 2008 08:23 PM (GMT)
This modern day samurai dares to stand up against the corruption and wanton lawlessness of KK4's Catholic Church! This, my friends, cannot stand. I did not hack, slash and claw my way to where I am to allow some ultraist to challenge the power of the Holy See!

Possessed - February 26, 2008 07:50 PM (GMT)
I'm Christian, but mostly non-denominational. I don't really like to do the church thing, since it seems counterproductive to the point of forging your own relationship with god to go to a building and have them tell you what you should believe, instead of doing it yourself and becoming closer to god in the meantime.
