Isn't looking bad right now...

Iron Man Trailer 2

The film's starting to look like a serious contender for best action movie this year. It really looks like they've nailed this one.

ugh.. doubt it. Marvel ruins all their super hero movies by making them into real bad MTV dramas.

You didn't like Blade II, Spider-Man 2 or X-Men 2?

Well even if you didn't, this will be the first movie that Marvel have actually produced themselves so it might turn out a little different to their earlier movies. At the least now all their movies are being made by the same studio they can actually make them occur in a shared universe like the comics. Iron Man and Incredible Hulk are already confirmed to take place in the same world as each other, and I'd imagine the Nick Fury movie will too seeing as the character turns up in both of them.

Plus the movie stars Robert Downey Jr, Terrance Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges and Samuel L. Jackson! That alone would get my interest.

Spiderman and the Blade series are really the only movies i have ever liked. forget spiderman 2 and 3 an the hulk and daredevil, x-men 2 and 3.

Looking good. But trailers can be deceiving.

Nontheless I look forward to this title..and hope it'll be good. ;)

The only thing I'm not happy about so far is the rumour that they've replaced his butler with an intelligent computer. I generally hate them, plus it feels like a step too far into fantasy for a movie like this.

Jon Favreau does rule.

He should've had a SHIELD agent named Jasper for a butler.. :(

They better play that Iron man song at least three times! No four times. Five! We need to know who Iron man is.

Just seen it myself. It was a good movie. Not a fucking awesome movie, or a holy shit movie, or even a DAMN good movie, but it was right up there with the decent Spiderman films and Batman Begins... and Daredevil.

It did almost everything right; the acting was all great, the effects were near perfect, the Iron Man suit wasn't just true to the comics, it was an improvement, and it even managed to pull off a smartass computer and cute robots without making me want to put my foot through the screen... but it didn't quite have enough Iron Man for me. It just needed a little more of Iron Man kicking ass, and I would have been happier.

But still, it's a good movie. Recommended.

I really enjoyed it, but am a sucker for superhero movies. Will definately watch the second one when it arrives at the cinema.
