Title: serious topic about american politics
rofljohn - January 14, 2008 12:40 AM (GMT)
who are you supporting and what are opinions on the race so far
the republican primary is the most interesting because its basically wide fucking open
giuliani was the front runner for a while but lately he's died down and i don't think that he'll make the big comeback on super tuesday that he thinks he will
huckabee won't win because moderates wont vote for him and fiscal conservatives and foreign policy conservatives see him as very weak on their issues
romney is a lizardman/android who probably won't win because he's mormon and reminds everyone too much of john kerry
mccain will probably win because he doesnt really have any massive flaws
duncan hunter should just drop out and paul will probably run as 3rd party and no one will care
as for democraps obama is the best because he's not hella polarizing like hillary and he isnt a tool like edwards
kucinich is an alright guy with a hot wife who has no business running for president

huckabee has the coolest name i vote for him

A legitimate opinion that I can respect.

As you may have guess, I support Ron Paul. His stances on the economy and scaling back the power of the federal government are quite good. He also has much more support than people realize, seeing as hoe he raised 20 million last quarter and has a lot of grass roots support which are paying out of their own pockets for an blimp and various other advertising campaigns. It sucks however that there are a lot of people who are jumping on the anti-paul bandwagon and are believing the smears about him being a racist.
Personally, I am a bit upset he isn't questioning the NH primary even though there is massive evidence of vote fraud. But, I hope he has a good showing on super tuesday.

one analogy i've heard about ron paul's internet popularity is "a bunch of retards jumping into a pool of piss and getting piss all over everyone else".
now i don't completely agree with this - while most of his supporters are fucking idiots, he's not stupid himself. his views on the middle east and 'islamofascism' are the only things worth listening to during the republican debate.

I think he has a lot of interesting ideas. Plus, I hear he can fit his whole hand in his mouth. That's pretty impressive.

I don't know much about these people to be honest, but Fred Thompson was in Die Hard 2 and that alone makes him in some way awesome.

At first I thought this poll was fake because of the first name, sounding a lot like a fake combination of Hussein (Saddam), Osama (Bin Laden) and Mubarack. Then I realised it's that black dude who gets sponsored by Oprah in exchange for good sex.
I have no idea who these people are but I hope the elections will at least go better than the last 2 facades.

He's one of the better choices purely because of that. It would be awesome to have an American president with a name like that.
Also he's not Hilary Clinton, so he's got that going for him too.

welp romney won michigan
its funny because the lunatic fringe all wanted romney to win so it would take away mccain or huckabee's momentum allowing fred thompson to win south carolina
also ron paul came in fourth behind the 'winners'

In politics, nobody wins.
