now sunn o is a very controversial band and their genre of 'drone doom' is hotly disputed among musical enthusiasts. now i have never listened to sunn o or any drone doom really so this will be a new experience for me.

i will be periodically updating this thread as my journey into drone commences.

i decided to download the album "white1". it was hard trying to find an album to begin with as none of them stuck out as a 'critically acclaimed' one. im gonna start dlin it and take a shower and ill get back.

well im listening to the intro track (i assume intro cuz its like 2 minutes long) and its kinda cool i guess, sounds really sinister and fucking creepy. the drone is hurting my head though

woot a riff played over and over for 5 minutes straight with bm vocals

welp now its feedback with black metal vocals and this song is 10 minutes holy god

now there are lots of space noises like bloops and blips and stuff
droned out of course

back to the drone riff over and over

im so fucking bored right now

i still have almost 40 minutes of this bullshit left oh my fucking god

this song sounds like the members farted into the mic and then slowed it down
