Description: official EU release date

Well, Rock Band is on it's way this May 23rd for Europe. (See: http://ea.gamespress.com/)

I'm excited, cause it means its coming for Australia soon, but from the sounds of things, it's carrying a hefty price tag. (See: http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?showt...&#entry4953352)

Kind of annoying, means it'll be about the $300 dollar mark when/if it ever makes it here.

Anyway, I wanted to know what people who have, or have played the game think of it, and think it'll be worth my time/money. I'm an avid player of the Guitar Hero series, and still play frequently - nay, daily - with my girlfriend (who kicks my goddamn ass).

So, yay, or nay?

At £130 for the guitar, mic and drum pack, and £50 for the game itself (plus £60 for extra guitars) I think I'll be skipping this one for a while.

I thought guitar hero was a cute idea and kinda fun.. but even then I wondered..."Why not just play the guitar?" And Rock Band raises this question even more for me...why not just play the drums/guitar ect? .... at the same time...my friend just got it and I can't freaking wait to plaaaaayy~~~

Awhh. I want. D:

I want it, but the price is a bit insane, so until it goes down they can keep it. I don't want it _that_ bad.

There's always the option of importing the instruments off ebay and buying just the game.

Though, there are rumours that the price hike is because all the instruments have been rebuild to be supah doopah, which I don't believe.

Only issue with importing, make sure you've got a contact in the US so if you need to send it in for repairs, they can.
