As a team, we need some goals for this project. I propose the following in order to give us direction and something to shoot for. This is, of course, up for debate and discussion but is meant as a starting point. Onward!
- To create a simple, yet super fun, 30 minute to 1 hour experience.
- To utilize everyone's talents and abilities while giving everyone an open voice on the design of the game.
- To finish the project in a set amount of time with a substantial degree of polish.
- To create an original game with a symbol of what RPG2KNET is all about: loyalty in community and awesomeness.
Reasons?
- It takes a solid 6 months to create a game with about 5 people working on it FULL TIME to create an experience anywhere from 5-20 minutes long. That's something to note.
- Everyone is a designer if they want to be since it is a game we are all making.
- Finishing a smaller project shows what a team can do. Finishing a project in general shows that we can do it. This is why games get canceled, thrown out or just forgotten about... the first step to victory is just to -finish- something. If you want a career in game design, this is what employers look for. If you just want to be part of a project, I'm sure you can understand the importance of being able to say 'I worked on that, and we finished it' with a strong sense of pride in your work.
- 2KNET is an awesome place... let's make sure everyone knows that.

What about it... how do you guys feel about that?
I hereby mark this thread as "correct".
Not a thing there that needs altering.
