'Sessions' was a concept I came up with during school at VFS. It is essentially a focused way of brainstorming that inter-link together to focus a group of people down the same path.

I don't use IRC much, but for all who do, these would be great discussions to COPY+PASTE into this thread.

Essentially, someone takes hold as the moderator and discussion leader and then people just throw out ideas. No matter how outlandish or how crazy, it might lead someone else in a good or interesting direction.

It's all about being open and documenting every single idea. Once again, each session is a focused brainstorm and should last at the max, one half hour. We did these by writing words up on the white-board and just seeing which ones came up the most often to see what kinds of topics we all enjoyed the most.

It's just an idea, but it might get the ball rolling nicely. :]

Note: 'Blue Sky' simply means anything at all. Just blurt out random ideas about anything at all. This is the key word... ANYTHING. Think about having unlimited resources and time to make whatever you wanted! Ideas for something realistic may spring from them. :]

Sounds like a very good idea. When would these sessions start?

We definitely should get some kind of brainstorming session up ASAP, and IRC is as good a place as any.

Well, whoever wants to 'moderate' one of these sessions should set up a time.
