In a newest cashcow attempt, the last harry potter movie (for now) will be split into two separate movies. Really neccesary to include all the storylines and porn? Or just making more cash?

As long as they're made back to back it could work. Harry Potter fans are always complaining that the movies leave too much stuff out, and it's not as if anyone has to worry about them all getting bored by the time part II comes out and deciding to skip it.

In fact, they should stretch it into three movies, studios LOVE trilogies. In fact that'd make it into 9 movies overall, which is like a trilogy of trilogies, which makes it even more awesome. George Lucas should follow their example and get working on Episode VII.

Two parts eh? eh... I dunno. Those friggin potter nerds will go spend their cash on it, but with the whole revelation that Dumbledore likes a bit of the Coq au vin, and the implied pederasty which comes with it, is going to get the conservative and fundie whackos more to bitch about, but even though it will be good for some lulz I don't think it will really influence sales at all, unless the fundies stand outside the theater with jars full of acid to throw in the face of ticket holders, which would be totally fucking awesome. I dunno, it just seems like they are grasping for too mich with a kids movie. The books are poplular now, but with the series over I don't know if it will have the staying power to keep drawing in the ADD generation.

i was a huge hp fan up until i read the last book. then i realized the entire series sucks horribly. how the fuck did harry potter kill voldemort. voldemort knows so much shit about magics and whatnots. what the fucking bullshit ass cock juggling thundercunts. harry is a bitch who doesn't know shit about magic and somehow because of his wand or his mom dying or some shit he beats voldemort in a duel. wtf.

i guess i shouldn't have expected anything less from this children's story, but i was really hoping for an ending with several major characters dead. the "war" at the end of the book is nothing more than a small scale battle involving less than 100 people. plus, for some reason, this major wizard-war only involves people in britain. what about all the wizards from durmstrang, or that french place, or from the salem witches academy that was mentioned in one of the books which is located in america.
