KK4 - January 15, 2008 11:19 PM (GMT)
Hello gents (and any ladies what may be lurking),
What movies do you want to see? Post a trailer, poster, your opinions toward the upcoming films, or what ever.
First off,
The Dark Knight.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=WaIR9dAZRR0Christian Bale reprises his role as Batman in the sequel to
Batman begins with Heath Ledger as The Joker. I think the movie speaks for itself, and will be quite awesome. I cannot wait to see it.

Damn, I hadn't seen that poster yet, but it's at least as good as the rest of them. Everything about this movie looks amazing, Christopher Nolan has really gotten the series back on track. Actually, he's brought it onto a new, better track.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to this one.

Trailer site (trailer on the right hand side)
Action thriller set in a post apocalyptic Scotland which has been quarantined for 25 years after a viral outbreak, written and directed by the creator of Dog Soldiers and The Decent.
It looks like a cross between 28 Days Later, Mad Max and, uh, Resident Evil Apocalypse, it stars Rhona Mitra, Bob Hoskins, Malcolm McDowell, Sean Pertween and Dr Bashir from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and it's being made by someone who actually knows how to make movies.
Judging by the trailer this could be either awesome or terrible. Or both. But I'm optimistic.

Daj, why do you hate me? I mean I like some movies though..I think they're just a waste of 2 or so hours which could be used doing something productive, like working on Convergence. Which I sincerely hope you're working on. And besides if it weren't for me, this place would've been long gone already. (I kid, I kid)

To be honest, the sad depressing truth is that I've actually spent much more time working on Convergence in the last 12 months than I have watching movies.

That's not sad or depressing, that's a fucking good thing!!!

Aww, looks like Star Trek has been pushed back to May 2009.
Which is a shame because I just saw this and now I'm halfway enthusiastic about it.

More picsSulu in a spacesuit fighting aliens with a katana? Movie don't look so bad anymore.

The Dark Knight is the only movie I am actually looking forward too; I don't really watch a lot of movies, but this has stirred my interest.
Linzi - February 29, 2008 05:09 PM (GMT)
I really enjoyed Batman Begins so I'm pretty excited to see this new one...Plus the title is just badass! And a chance to see Christian Bale in the bat suit and possibly without a shirt on is enough reason for any girl to see this movie!
I saw a preview for that new Jack Black movie, the other day... Be Kind Please Rewind?? I'm not a huge JB fan but Mos Def is in it and he always plays in really fun and interesting movies sooooo I would say this one probably is one of those hidden charms... But then again.... it does have jack black in it so you never know....
MrFrost - February 29, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
The Dark Knight of course and have you all forgotten Indiana Jones ?!?!

New suit lacks nipples. :(
The Morphine Child - March 4, 2008 01:30 PM (GMT)
The Dark Knight, Iron Man annnnnd Fuckin
Solomon Kane!
Robert E. Howard is one of my favourite writers, and Solomon Kane was one of my favourite characters as a kid. Plus it has the dude who plays Marc Antony in HBO's Rome as Solomon. :D It'll be like Conan... With Guns... And No AHNULD.
EDIT: And for the fuck of it... I'll probably go to see Death Race (aka Carmageddon the movie part 2)

Dajhail - March 4, 2008 01:51 PM (GMT)
Hey, what's wrong with Arnold Schwarzenegger?
I hadn't actually heard of Solomon Kane, but the film looks interesting. Sounds like it might be good. The remake of Death Race though... it caught my interest when I read 'starring Jason Statham' and lost it again when I read 'directed by Paul W. S. Anderson' :P
The Morphine Child - March 4, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna go see Death Race at the cheapies (2 dollars with a free drink or popcorn? I'll take that!), but I'll definitely watch it in -a- theater! :D
I was paid to go see Doom, so I've done worst things with my time ;)

amen for that.

It's not going to be out for another year, but
Watchmen's starting to look
very interesting.
The Comedian:

Silk Spectre:

Nite Owl:

Ozymandias:

Rorschach:

I love how they made Nite Owl look like he's from Batman Begins, and Ozymandias look like he's from Batman and Robin. It seems to fit somehow. Also Rorschach and The Comedian couldn't look more perfect.
spik - March 6, 2008 11:24 PM (GMT)
I'll in-spectre her silk.

I can make one of those out of toilet paper rolls and duct tape. :D (consequently I'd give my left nut for #87 though I can get my hands on a dewatted one, but that's not much use to me... Fucking Canada...)
---
Watchman, been avoiding any news and such for it. So fuck you for posting pics... ass. :P
I wanna go into that one without any hype.
