Title: RPG2KNET 10TH BIRTHDAY
Description: It's gonna be a party or sum shit...!

squirrel - July 30, 2008 12:51 PM (GMT)
FACEBOOK PARTY INFORMATION

it's fast approaching (9 months time...which I think will go pretty quickly) the 10th birthday of this little site. By that time, v4 will be running it's course, I'll be 25, bret will still be going all in with 25o, and we will still be waiting for Convergence.

So, I propose a little celebration, considering I've been associated with this site for 2/5th of my entire life. I'm not sure what to plan just yet. Could be a party in England somewhere, if enough people want to come we could hire some place out.

Hope you guys are interested in doing something like this :-)
(there will be a birthday cake, promise. And lots of photographs).

zachiroth - July 30, 2008 05:02 PM (GMT)
seriously, if there's a party in england let me know at least 5 months before time so that I might actually fly there for it! because i totally would, as this site has been part of my life almost half my life...

Actually, since I'm perpetually trapped at 12, the number is exponentially lower then both of our numbers.

Any Helpful information about traveling there would be much appriciated :)

This will 100% definitely go ahead. Unfortunately, it will be in the UK. There WILL be an rpg2knet is 10 cake.

Captain_Toasty - August 1, 2008 04:37 PM (GMT)

joe - August 1, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
Can we do it in Brighton? We can cut the cake on the beach! I can provide weed for the krew and beer for the gents. And a sweet little ass for anyone feeling randy.

belsammael - August 7, 2008 08:34 AM (GMT)
shit, I read this topic too late... 9 months; I was hoping to get me lady pregnant in time for it to give birth so we could call our child 2knet... too late I fear. :(

but. yay. parties are good. =3

squirrel - August 12, 2008 02:06 PM (GMT)
right, for all International people I think flight is going to be your only option, since we are so far inland here. The local airport is called "Birmingham International" and has a airport code of "BHX". It's probably about the third largest airport in the United Kingdom so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding flights.

For accomodation, we have quite a few rpg2knet members around Birmingham, and friends, and you'll probably be good for crashing at their place. I can certainly take a few. Otherwise, I can get you hotels (from cheap to pricey, whatever you want) if you request it.

You won't be required to bring anything. We'll sort pretty much everything out. A spare pair of boxors might be required in case belsammael roxors your original pair off.

NO I DEFFO LEAVE WALES TO COME THIS TIME.

yen - August 24, 2008 04:02 PM (GMT)
why did i write happy instead of happen.

that's the true question.

Gintech - August 24, 2008 05:04 PM (GMT)
Well, if one of you guys (who I don't really know anyway) can pay for my flight ticket, and I don't mind being in the coach class of a crapp airplane, then I can take my 10 days off and head down. However if no one waits for me, as in you hold up a sign saying: "Daniel Olguin" then I'll most likely NEVER find you guys. My question is, how much is an actual ticket? I can go and all, its just that the only thing getting in the way is this wall called, "I don't make THAT much money in my Volunteer job." Here is a diagram to better Illustrate what I mean...

user posted image

Plus, I don't drink, I don't smoke, however I'm not a vegetarian... So as you can see.. If you guys REALLY want me there then sure, what the hey, I'll be there. I can bring my guitar... ... that's really all I can do for ya. I'm just one of those guys who only associates from the net. Although I have been a member for almost... 4-5 years I think?.. Hmm anyways. If you feel like spending hundreds of dollars on someone you've never met and probably wont see ever again.. I can make it. Otherwise, my chances are basically shot. Chherio!

I intend on swimming the Atlantic then hiking my way to Birmingham for I am a burly gentleman and have spent many summers at lumberjack fantasy camp.
