Well As I previously stated to Jihaus, I spent my weekend working on Music for Convergence. Oh and a big thanks to Jihaus for that list, I can't begin to emphasize how PERFECT the directions are. Please remember the format in which you told me about the music list. As a composer, it's instructional gold! Anywho, I managed to make 3 complete songs in one weekend, and up with my standards, each composition sounds better than the next. So, without further Ado, Here's my 3 completed songs.
1.
Convergence Overture - Electric Mix
This is an overture I composed for the whole videogame. This was the MAIN project for the weekend. Hope you enjoy, the entire structure of the composition is solely structured on the main melody. I've decided to take the key to Cm rather than Bm Just because C has a warmer brilliance when it comes to minor chords, than B does. Trust me, I know exactly what I'm talking about. Enjoy!
2.
Convergence: Spaceship/LaboratoryAnother "off-list" song that I felt like composing. I know we may have enough of these but I just HAD to make one, I just love composing Sci-Fi so much! This was the first song finished out of the weekend. This song and the Overture share some sound effects and percussion on purpose. Enjoy!
3.
Convergence: Urban FunkThis one I recorded in the wee hours of the night for the "MODERN CITY THEME." Now , it was requested that it be Jazz or something the like, so, I put together for you some Acid Jazz, No synth. Just Warm Organ, Acoustic Bass, and My guitar play. Very simplistic and modern. Hopefully this is what you're looking for. If so, let me know, so I can check this one off my list.
Well that's all for now! What will the next weekend have in store for us? Stay tuned for update #2!
Chao!
