Hey, you wanted this to happen! If we'd gone into round 3 with them in separate polls, and one of them ended up getting knocked out, then you'd never have your Sonic vs Mario fight.

True, but is it likely one of them would have been knocked out?

Also, aren't both of them going to get through this round? or is there only one winner?

There are two winners in each round, but there's always the chance Luigi might make a surprise comeback and Sonic could race ahead knocking Mario out of the competition.

Not a huge chance though.
