Description: It's all out :@
Ariae - December 19, 2008 02:35 AM (GMT)
Ok, so i bought my new gaming rig, i've picked up millions of games and finished them.. What i want to know is, where the hidden goldies are, there's always atleast one or two not-so-known games that are excellent per year, and i didn't even find a game i hadn't played that looked interesting down at the game shop..
PC specs aren't a problem, but i'll list the games i already HAVE played, so you can disregard these. Help me out here :(

Can't see Half Life 2 + Episodes, Prey or Quake 4 on the list, but then they're getting old now. Also, Portal.
Also maybe:
Hitman: Blood Money - An awesome game... after you've put hours of misery into it to learn how to finish each level.
Medal of Honor: Airborne - Not the best WWII shooter, but it's alright.
Call of Juarez - Half average Western shoot 'em up, half pain in the ass stealth.
World in Conflict - RTS that people seem to like.
Company of Heroes - More RTS type gaming.
Sins of a Solar Empire - A space RTS.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Has some great music.
Far Cry 2 - Some people seem to hate it, my brother assures me it's great though.
Audiosurf - A little tiny music driven action game which is awesome while it lasts.
Sam & Max Episodes maybe.
Vampyre Story seems like a reasonably good old school point and click adventure.
The Movies - An average Theme Park type game you don't have to play combined with a great (if limited) machinima movie making tool.
Condemned: Criminal Origins - A surprisingly decent first person action horror.
Lego Star Wars - Get someone to play co-op and it's a laugh.

You've got almost every PC game I've played in the past while covered. I don't know what to recommend. :D
King Bounty is supposed to be a good S/RPG. I have yet to play it though.

Man, you can't just make a thread like this, then disappear without telling people our suggestions all suck or whatever! There's no closure here :/

Been there done that, and an update for people looking for decent games:
Alien Shooter - Vengeance
Entertaining, oldskool graphics with shader effects, basically a huge alien slaughtfest
ISO Shooter
Empire Earth 3
Well, what can i say, i just recently started playing it and Singleplayer seems to have a long lasting life. RTS
Mirror's Edge
An awesome game, political plot and parkour. Not much shooting for a first person game, but more fighting and jumping around :)
Shadowgrounds + expansion
Almost the same deal as Alien Shooter, except with updated 3D graphics. Works well in multiplayer!
