Post some of your favourite TV episodes. Bonus points for gifs and pictures and maybe a short (spoiler free) explanation why that episode is great.

Heroes - Company Man
Finally we get some backstory on the mysterious man with the glasses, as every remaining trace of normal life for the characters is violently torn away. There's no Peter or Sylar (or even Mohinder or Hiro) in the episode, but it still feels like the big turning point on the road to the season finale. It's about as epic as an episode almost entirely set in one house can be.

Battlestar Galactica - Exodus II
I hope this is vague enough not to spoil anything to anyone who hasn't seen it yet but...

I don't see BSG ever beating this episode, but I'd be very happy to be proven wrong.

That episode was perfect. No criticism of it at all.

The best part of it was...

SPOILERS BELOW

When Galactica is totally surrounded and the background music suddenly draws out... the camera zooms out and we see missiles exploding all over Galactica.

Then Fat Apollo suicide runs his ship into the basestar.

Death Note - Clouded Sky/Overcast (Episode 7).. whatever its called.

This is the episode where Light is trying to find a way to sort out the problem that Ray Penbars girlfriend presents.

SPOILERS BELOW

Through the episode he keeps up this image that he cares, he wants to catch Kira, he regrets the death of her boyfrined... etc... she dosnt fall for it at first but he gradually convinces her to share her details. Then, he writes her name in the Death Note, tells her that he is Kira and he killed her soon to be husband... and you see her slowly walking off into the distance as snow falls around her. The suspense through the episode and the ending makes it one of my fav episodes....

Lost - Walkabout

Lost starts really well. It raises questions straight away and keeps the mystery going but it is not really until this episode that it starts to hit its best gear. Its one of the first flashbacks and its for Locke. The events on the island are somewhat average but the flashback and the reveal make it one of the best standard episodes of Lost (sure some of the finales have been excellent too). Yet again, the end scene makes it.

SPOILERS BELOW

The reveal at the end that Locke was disabled and in a wheelchair before he came to the island... the music during this scene is brilliant and we really feel Johns frustration and then depression as he cant achieve his dreams... yet we see him on the island doing just that...

Twin Peaks Season 2 - Episode 22 (I dont think they have episode titles... this is the final episode)

Its hard to highlight a Twin Peaks episode before the 'big reveal' that stands out, because they are all awesome until the plot changes.

Lynch returns to finish the show. After the 'big reveal' in Season 2 the show certainly had gone off track as Lynch left and it became the type of show it had parodied and mocked in Season 1 on times. So what does he do on his return? He takes all the plot elements that had been developing since he left and fucks them all while the main characters attempt to venture into the unknown.

SPOILERS BELOW

Benjamin Horn is murdered after revealing to Hayward's daugther that he is her father. Hayward breaks down.

Nadine gets her memory back and the boy she had been dating after losing her memory admits 'I let things get out of hand (probably a joke at how dumb the plot had got).'

Andrew and Pete die after unlocking Eckhardt's box. Andrew is a total dick who had been greedy, faked his own death.

Cooper goes to the Black Lodge. Confronts the midget, meets the giant again, meets Laura Palmer, sees Earle get killed by Bob, confronts an image of Leland and then gets chased by an evil clone of himself that is probably Bob. Cooper appears to escape the Black Lodge but infact it was the clone. The show ends with Cooper, the hero of the show who had done no wrong in any episode being trapped in the Black Lodge.

It dosn't really stand out above many of the other Twin Peaks episode (pre-reveal) but the way that the show is pretty much torn to pieces for its finale is strange to watch.

Arrested Development - Fakin' It

Loads of parts with Franklin.... Judge Reinhold... Tobias' stash... the mock trial.
Every part of this episode is hilarious and it features all of the main characters. If you like the show then this is pretty much all of the best parts of it combined.
