I don't think for a minute that Shephard's really going to get him/herself murdered. Though it would give them an excuse to start the player at level one again. But maybe I'm just in denial :(

Man, they replaced the Normandy with an uglier one. That's just low.
We were stuck flying around in the Ebon Hawk for two Knights of the Old Republic games despite playing a different character in the sequel (it wasn't an ugly ship by any means but not as awesome looking as the Normandy), but Shepard can't even keep his/her ship for one sequel? Shameful.
Though I guess having a ship blow up in your face is a good excuse to fake your death and get some plastic surgery (ie. getting to edit the face you used for Mass Effect 1)
