So, there's this game called Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden.
Watch the trailer.Play it.I have not played it yet, but I'm sure I will.
So... my vote is that we make a game and trump theirs.

everyone here has already played it and has decided that it is the game of the year 2008 but yeah its basically the best
the best game
edit: barkley that is, nobody has played convergence not even the devs because it doesnt exist in playable form yet

game maker, which gives it the advantages of not sucking and having a battle system thats actually fun over gay rpg maker games

I haven't gotten around to trying Barkley, but the title lols me up.
Also Convergence will probably disappoint and anger 90% of all 2knetters.

If I made it on anything other than the DBS it would have a 0% chance of ever getting finished, which is many times worse than the 10% chance it has of ever getting finished if it was on DBS. So no, hell fucking no to CBSes, especially considering the length (600 pages) of the game. Besides, with the 100% custom sprites it's going to look a lot better than other DBS crap.
