I just picked this up the other day. I'm almost done, and thus far I like it a lot. Very old school style JRPG with a FF7-8-10 feel to it. Graphics and music are great(Nobuo, you silly, awesome man you) and the story is not that bad. It's not very original, but the "stories" you read are awesome. When you play it, you'll know what I mean.

Anyway, anyone else play this?

I gave it a shot for an hour or two, but it didn't really grab my attention. It does look cool though, and yeah it really does feel like a missing Final Fantasy game.

I really enjoyed Lost Odyssey. It was pretty straightforward but was loads of fun to play and kept me hooked.

I'm on disc 4 but have yet to beat it. Too many loose ends (optional bosses) to tie up.

I really liked the game though, awesome throwback to old school JRPG's. Great music and characters and cool enemy design. Some parts of the story are painful to get through *cough*funeral*cough* but overall the story is pretty good.

I liked how there's less enemy encounters but the enemies are in turn more powerful. Makes for some intense battles. They also made some boss battles were really challenging, with magic resistances and the like.

Need to go back to this one when I have some time. It can take 20 minutes just micromanaging your rings xd
