Title: Dollhouse
Description: Joss Whedon's latest television drama

Anyone else been watching this series?

I thought the premise of people getting programmed with new memories to do jobs for rich people was interesting, and I'm a Joss Whedon fanboy, so I thought I'd check it out. Then after two episodes I got bored with how bland and cheesy it was and quit.

But I got convinced to start watching it again, and it got better. The latest episodes had a developing story, entertaining characters, and some actual wit.

Which probably means it'll get cancelled any day now, so it might be worth catching it while it's still on.

Meh we all know it's gonna go erotic.

Haha, seems like it did get cancelled already. Terminator and Prison Break too apparently.

Shame though, it was getting better.

Edit: False alarm, apparently it's totally still in the decision phase, and it might actually get a second season. Maybe.

Haha, the latest episode started with the main character brain programmed to be a dominatrix, complete with whip. And all the adverts were based around 'this week, Echo is a dominatrix!'

But that was only for the first 2 minutes, then they got to more important things like actually making it a genuinely good episode for once. Shit, if the next episodes are like this I may have to begin recommending this series to people :/

I stand by what I said.

Shame this series is running out of episodes, I think that it's gotten genuinely... watchable.

The plots aren't that great, and somehow watching helpless brainwashed women getting beaten up every episode gets a little old, but I'd keep tuning in just for the characters.

But hey, maybe it'll get a big action movie afterwards, with Echo getting ninja skills uploaded into her brain and fighting zombies.

The Dollhouse Season 1 DVD Box set exists, and its influence reaches far and reaches deep. While its steely lady Director espouses an altruistic motivation, sinister elements have surfaced to gainsay this. The elephant in the room is Alpha, a doll who inexplicably went berserk during his dormant state and murdered a group of defenseless dolls and other Dollhouse Season 1 DVD Box set functionaries. The only doll to survive Alpha's killing spree is Echo. And, as we learn, there's something very special about Echo. Alpha supposedly perished at the hands of Dollhouse's security. Supposedly.
