Are you?!
Compared to the 17 year old wimp I once was, I'm much better with the ladies now. Previously I wouldn't dare go up to a girl if there was a chance of getting shot down. Now I get shot down/rejected about 3 or 4 times (sometimes more ) before eventually hitting it right. The difference is that now I think it's fun, and all part of the game, whereas previously it was my worst nightmare come true.

Rejection is quite possibly the worst thing in the world... but you're right: get over that and you'll be much better off. Mind you, don't just jump at anyone and everyone with two legs... choose wisely or you might make a reputation for yourself as a wannabe man-slut. No girls like that action.
As for me, I'm ok. I've been single for a good while now and am willing to start dating again. So we'll see who just so happens to cross my path in that oh so wonderful way.
