Also known affectionately as “Cass” or “C,” it is what the Volderian [and now Triumviritian] world reads vicariously, or perhaps not so vicariously. It is an extremely popular magazine about general culture and fashion, and most importantly, the gossip pages which seem to publish embarrassing exposes every other week or so. Increasingly it is becoming more of a gossip magazine, though it still has class – for now.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is known as the most prestigious school in all of post-Volderian Society. Acceptance into Hogwarts not only entails superiority to other post-Volderian citizens, but the chance to be in close working relations with the political head of The Triumvirate herself, Bellatrix Lestrange, who resides as Headmistress of the facility. The building itself is showing its age on the exterior, cracks line the grand walls and it almost looks as if it will crumble at any moment. The interior however, is a decadent treasure trove testament to The Dark Lord’s reign.

Knockturn Alley
Once Diagon Alley fell, its neighbor slowly began to eat up its shops. Today, Dark objects and mundane ones are interchangeable, and what is legal and what is not are not very defined here. There is a colorful assortment of characters which one will find here; shady dealers, bright-eyed young children, swarms of young people out here for a date. The two vastly different cultures of the two alleys have been blended together now; Knockturn Alley is one of the most popular places to shop in London.

St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries
This is the place to get the best care for any disease, infection, malady, or injury: hence, the name. The Healers are still trained up extremely well, and pretty decent funding allows for medical research to be completed within the hospital’s walls. There are some marked changes, however. There is no need for the façade with the abandoned clothing shop in the front, and the building has sprawled out over a great deal of land. In fact, there are perhaps a few acres left for the invalids to take walks, boat, or to just enjoy the outdoors. Many, many, portraits of notable people have been taken down.

Central Paris: Topside
Apart from Death Eater Headquarters and Beauxbatons Academy, the rest of Paris is a constant struggle. Much of the city, including the once grand Volderian Palace, has been razed to the ground. What remains are the shells of classic buildings and landmarks that survived war after war, only to finally be destroyed by the power of one man. The remains themselves are primarily useless and are used mostly for subversive plots.

Central Paris: Underground
The city of Paris has a long and interesting history beneath its streets. Almost completely hollow underground, what exists beneath the streets of Paris is often more interesting (and populated) than the ruined metropolis above. Deep in the infamous catacombs and the expansive metro, the French Resistance flourishes and fights against their oppressors.

Durmstrang's School for Boys is a harsh place to be. It serves as the centermost point of Bulgarian society; life revolves around the boys at the school. They are everyone's champions. Shopping Central
If anyone in Volderian society ever needs to do some shopping, some real shopping, then Bulgaria's Shopping Central. Weaving in a large circle around the stone walls of Durmstrang and outwards, the shopping here is the biggest and best in the world. Only the finest items are sold here. You could spend days upon days looking through all of the shops.

City Limits
Even central Bulgaria has its limits. Surrounding the large city is another stone wall, this one fifty feet in height, and very reminiscent of the wall surrounding the school at the center of town. These Bulgarians like security, there's no knowing what's beyond the city limits. Just within the walls, however, on the farthest outskirts of town, are the more sketchy areas. Cheap pubs, radicals' hideouts, and so much more make this part of town the Durmstrang boys’ favorite place to sneak out to. What’s life without a little excitement?

The Italian Resistance has turned the center into the first school in over a century to educated witches and wizards of all blood types, as well as non magical folk. [Vatican Map]
And you believed all those people that said the Resistance was going no where. The Vatican was the only free land inside Volderian Territory, the last bastion of resistance. Now it has become something of the capital of Italy, and the center of the Italian Resistance. Inside this small city lives Resistance members by the hundreds and many more Muggles. Yes, Muggles. Students from Maltalvia are openly encouraged to visit here, but other citizens must tread much, much, more carefully. There is something in the air, here: hope.

The St. Regis Grand Hotel in Rome stood for more than a century as the most lavish vacationing spot in Italy. Following the Italian Resistance's take over, the St. Regis was transformed into a set out-of-Vatican apartments for people wishing to venture outside their formerly entrapping walls. Despite the shift in power within the borders of Italy, the purpose of The Coliseum has not changed much. During The Darkness it was the site of the trials, and consequently the execution, of many Voldemort supporters. Venice
The city of Venice is a place with an interesting purpose. It is officially used as a 'Rehabilitation Center' for captured Death Eaters. The old buildings are used as centers for 'coercion' and 'conditioning,' though most people realize that some of the darkest workings of the Resistance take place within this cities bounds. The Resistance generally accepts its purpose and existence because of its necessity to the war they fight.
