"I assume you're comfortable?"
I assume you're comfortable? Emma Frost? That voice was unmistakable. But, how can this be? How could he allow something like this to happen?
Charles spun his head in Emma's direction. What was that device on her head? Ah, yes, a psionic inhibitor, not unlike the one Styker had used. But this one was different. It also appeared to amplify her ability.
"What do you want Emma? And, what have you done with the X-Men.?"
Charles was especially worried about the states of Piotr, Kat, Remy and Lexx. They were all so new to the team.
SCOTT TAG: Collosus, Storm, Beast
Scott had noticed Jean, about the same time Logan had, and seeing her had caused his stomach along with his heart to drop to his feet. He almost fell to his knees, but caught himself in time. While he wanted to go to her, he felt the need to find them all a way out of here first. Not much conversation could be had while she was unconcious anyway.
Scott sucked in a deep breath and looked toward the others.. He wished Storm and Beast were awake. She could cause electrical interferance to knock out whatever surveillance might be on them, and Beast was brilliant with plans. He guessed that they would just have to make do.
"Okay people, let's come up with a plan here. Collosus see if you can knock down the door. I don't want to try knocking it out unless absolutely neccessary." The last time Scott had knocked out something it had caused the flood that killed Jean... Only now Jean wasn't dead.
When Colossus heard Cyclops request he careful opened Shadowcat's palm and and placed the icepack Bobby had made into it. He stood psyched himself up while staring at the door. He allowed himself to shift into his metallic form he took a few steps back and charged full speed at the door. He bounced into it created a tiny indent. "There is no way I can run into the door enough times to get through".
After staring for another couple of second he tried punching the door this too had little or no effect. "This door is made of tougher material than me. We may need a bigger force into the very centre of the door. Dr. McCoy mentioned a through-way technique... or something similar, but we never got to try it. Excuse me Mr Summers" he said as returned to his normal form and walked back over to Shadowcat's side.
Bobby
His expression changing into one of further concern, he started to protest, but once Rogue turned to him and told him what she was going to do, he knew that there was no stopping her and that there would be no going back. Watching Rogue's fingertips, he winced slightly as she reached towards Dynamo. It was only a few seconds, but he could sense and see the power and the pain that was surging through his lover's fingertips. As her head snapped back and her eyes turned blank, he quickly moved to stand behind her, ready to catch her if she fell.
A couple of seconds later or so, he felt Rogue fall into his arms, burying her face in his shoulder, after she broke the powerful connection between her and Dynamo, hopefully freeing her. If that didn't work, he was sure that nothing else would. Embracing Rogue and rocking her gently to sway the pain while he waited for her rush of relief, he looked over at Dynamo. Waiting for her reaction, he whispered into Rogue's ear, "Just take it easy, Rogue. I think you've done more than enough and I love you for it. I'm sure everyone else is grateful too, especially her." Kissing and leaning his head gently on hers, he looked around at the other fallen X-Men. What would become of them all in the end? What kind of sick joke was this? Keeping them all trapped in the darkness, some half awake and the others unconscious?
Storm
Storm woke up to the thud of Colossus ramming against some kind of metal. Where am I? What is going on here? Where is that light coming from? "Cyclops do you know where we are?" Storm, having a terrible case of claustrophobia, started to feel cramped and almost started to panic. Then her eyes started to get used to the light, realizing that there was more to the room than she could see. Storm started to relaxed, but began to worry if all of the other students where OK. "Cyclops where's the Professor? How are the others?"
SCOTT: tag Storm, Kitty
Cyclops was glad that Storm was awake. He watched the panic flit across her face and he really hoped that she wouldn't succumb to it. He was relieved when she seemed to calm down. Scott glanced at Jean and Logan before he spoke.
"To answer your first question, I have no idea where we are. I assume in a room made of adamantium. I have no idea where the professor is. Jean is apparently alive and we need to get out of here so we can find Professor X. If Kitty were fully conscious she could phase through the wall, knock out or take over any electronics and get us out of here." By the time Scott finished he was sounding more than a little overwhelmed, which was completely unlike his usual Fearless Leader style. He chalked it up to finding out that his fiancee wasn't dead after all.
Emma Frost--The White Queen
Tag: Charles Xavier
"Well, golly, since you asked so politely..." Emma mocked, letting a gentle snicker escape her lips at Charles' petty attempt to reason with her. Emma was anything but an idiot, she kept her cards close to her chest--like any good businesswoman.
"You're the one bound to a chair, Charles. You're in no position to worry about the well-being of your precious students. Did you really think you were going to run to their rescue? Well, wheel." She chuckled, bringing a gloved hand to cover her mouth, as any true lady might.
"They're alive, if that's what you mean. For the time being." She assured him with a sinister smirk.
Dynamo
Dynamo scowled when Rogue said '...this is going to feel a little...strange.' Her scowled deepened when Rogue turned to mouth something at Bobby. Dynamo swallowed. 'Just don't fight me? What's that supposed to...?' Dynamo's thoughts were cut off as Rogue touched her face.
She felt the veins in her face begin bubble and she felt the life being sucked out of her. She had heard of Rogue's power, but never witnessed it. She was now gettting a full blown, hands on course on it. She wanted to scream when she saw Rogue's head jerk back and her eyes goes blank. If thought would have allowed her two seconds of peace, her mind would be racing right now with 'Oh my god...' and 'What the hell is going to happen now?' Instead, her mind was racing with things from the past. Rogue was taking her memories and she could feel select ones leaving, only she couldn't actually tell which one's Rogue was taking.
As soon as Rogue pulled her hand from her face, the bubbling veins in her face returned to normal and she started to feel life return to her. She was breathing unsteadily. She swallowed and closed her eyes as she regenerated. She noticed Rogue touch the metal beneath her and felt it repolarise when her muscles loosened. She could move properly again. She wasn't stuck anymore. She watched Rogue move away and go to Bobby. She heard her whisper to Bobby, but that seemed to be a cue for Dynamo's complete regneration and then realisation.
She freaked out. She scrambled to her feet as quickly as she could and looked over at Rogue in Bobby's arms. Her breathing was more steady, but rapid this time. "What did you do? What did you see?" Dynamo was just a spout of questions. She didn't like being in her own head at the best of times, but for someone else to have been in there noseying around, Dynamo didn't feel safe. There were things in her head that she wanted to keep dead, but if Rogue had seen something, she would probably want it explain.

Rogue
<tag Logan>
Letting Bobby comfort her, Rogue drew forward and quickly studied each of the memories she had garnered from Dynamo while trying to save her. The ice skating, and the tattoos, all of that she understood. But the water... Shivering, she burrowed deeper into Bobby's shoulder, trying to understand enough to push the memory away. It felt like she was drowning, being sucked so far under she couldn't see the light. But that's impossible, isn't it? No one could survive that and still be okay. She heard Lexx freak out, the normal, even expected response after exposure to Rogue's powers.
Turning in Bobby's arms, she looked down at her hand and gulped, realizing she hadn't put her glove back on. She was usually so careful, but with the shock of using her abilities, it had gone right out of her head. Quickly yanking the glove back on, she pushed out of Bobby's arms and stood up. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," she said, unsure if she was talking to him or to Dynamo. "It was the only way. I didn't see anything, I promise. Nothing I understood anyway, nothing at all. Let's just go... go help the others."
Then she blindly walked away, unsure who she was trying to hide behind, when she found herself next to Wolverine "Hey, Logan," Rogue said, hesitant to reach out to him. "We're going to find Jean, I promise. But first, how are we going to get out of here?"

Charles knew that Emma couldn't be alone in this. There's no way that she could get him and his pupils away from the mansion without help. Who's helping her? Of course, only one mutant would have such resources. Erik Lensherr.
Charles knew the situation was grim, but not out of control yet. "My Emma, what an interesting headband you are sporting today. You couldn't find one in your color?"
Sarcasm was not a normal weapon in Charles' repitoire. It was something Logan or Remy might use. However, it seemed appropriate in this situation. At the same time, he began to assess the bonds that held his arms, looking for any sign of weakness in the bonds.

((OOC: Took me a bit to find out where the RP went.))
IC: Christopher was lost, despite his uniform he'd swiped off a guard he had no idea where he was. The place was fairly large and without a map or some reference point, he wouldn't be doing much more than walking around in circles. The young man glanced down several corridors until he noticed a series of cells or rather areas. Security was fairly tight here and he winced when someone called out to him sharply.
"Hey you!!! What are you doing in this area? Come here now."
The dusky skinned you man stepped over keeping his hat secure an his face turned down and slightly to the left. A tall older man in a smiliar non-discript uniform looked him over and spoke again, "Okay, so who are you? And why is a code two secuirty tech in this area?"
Chris hesitated and spoke, "Umm I'm new sir. I suppose I got turned around. My mistake, It won't happen again."
Another man seemed to be examining some sort of device and glanced at Chris surprised then spoke in a raised tone. "He's a mutant!! Take him down, he reads green by the scanner!!" Chris grabbed the man infront of him and shoved him into several others rushing in his direction and began to concentrate. Silvery liquid metal emerged from the pores of his skin and washed over his skin and hair and the young man moved quickly. Using his hyper-speed to slam through his opponents like a runnaway train, he passed several cell doors thinking to himself. **Great so much for my brilliant plan of infiltration.**
To make things worse an alert sounded....

Gambit
Gambit looked over at Rogue as she talked with Logan. Gambit had some ideas as to how he'd get out. He had his cards and could send a surge of energy to them to make them volitile. He might be able to blow a hole in the wall somewhere, or a door, where ever that was. He kept the lit rod in his hand to shed light on the situation.

Kitty
<tag Scott>
Kitty's mind slowly emerged from the fog, in the distances she could have sworn she heard Colossus...Piotr. Her eyes twitched. What happened? Kitty could not seem to remember what happened. Well, whatever happened, it left her out cold. Must have been a real hard blow to knock her short term memory. Sitting up, Kitty looked around. "What happened?" She touched her hand to her head.
bloodyhostile17 - February 20, 2006 03:43 AM (GMT)
Bobby
Definitely not wanting to press the issue, even regardless of their current circumstances, Bobby just simply stood aside and watched the others as they tried to figure out a plan of escaping the cell that they found themselves enclosed in. Rogue would figure out things on her own, he figured, and he was relieved when she turned to Logan for conversation... as long as she talked to someone, he felt better about things. Noticing that Kitty was beginning to wake up, he decided to make himself semi-useful by going to her side and checking on her, although he was sure that Colossus would be all over it. "Hey Kitty, how are you feeling? Don't worry, we're fine, just got knocked out by some kinda gas or something," he said to her, pausing for a moment. "Don't be in a hurry to stand up or anything. Just wait for your eyes to adjust to the very dim lighting."
Cyke101 - February 20, 2006 04:27 AM (GMT)
Scott let Bobby talk to Kitty before breaking in. "Kitty, how do you feel?" He didn't wait for an answer before plunging on. "I, WE, need you to phase through the wall over there." Scott pointed to a wall with a large glass lookout at the top. He assumed that was the control center. "If you can't phase through and get us out by hacking the system, then we need you to fry the electronics and hopefully that will pop the door. Do you think you can do it without getting caught?"
Scott knew it was a huge risk, but it was also the safest huge risk. He didn't know what was on the other side of those doors, and the safest way to find out would be for Shadowcat to find out. In her phased state she wouldn't be vulnerable to bullets what not.

Kitty
Kitty nodded her head. Then she tried to stand. At first her legs felt like rubber. Then, with great effort, Kitty steadied herself. Kitty turned her attention to the wall that seperated the containment room to the control room. She held up her hands, as if afraid to find that her powers would not work. With a deep breath, Kitty focused her powers and stepped through the wall. Phasing through to the other side, the young mantant sat down at a computer terminal, where she began typing quickly Bright red letter appeared on the screen, flashing "access denied." With a curse, Kitty jumped to her feet. "Oh, it's not working, Scott!" Kitty looked to the door that contained her friends. The lock required a card to swipe. With a swipe of her hand, Kitty fried the key. "Door lock is down!" She called in.

Gambit
"Thank goodness, we're getting outta here." Gambit was tired of this room. He had not enjoyed his time here. Although, he had tried to get hism ind off the situation while Scott tried to get them out. He had his deck of cards out on the floor playing solitare. He didn't mind playing, unless he had someone to play with. He didn't care if Scott hated the idea he was goofing off while mostly everyone else was trying to get out. This was his way of clearing his mind to help him think. He began to laugh and finally yelled.
"I did again!" He looked up at everyone who jerked around to look at him. "Oh, sorry, folks. I guess I got a little excited."
With that, he gathered his cards, shuffling them, and putting them away.
"What are we waiting for? Let's get out of here, mon amie."

Rogue
Then she blindly walked away, unsure who she was trying to hide behind, when she found herself next to Wolverine "Hey, Logan," Rogue said, hesitant to reach out to him. "We're going to find Jean, I promise. But first, how are we going to get out of here?" |
Logan
Logan looked down at Rogue, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it, kid. I'm sure Kitty has it under control. But I'd also wonder if she can phase someone else through the wall at the same time." He pondered for a moment. Then he stepped up to the door itself.
"You got about five seconds, kid..." he called out through the door. "Then I'm comin' out myself."
Cyke101 - February 21, 2006 04:46 PM (GMT)
Scott shot Gambit a look. He wondered how in the hell the kid had even made onto the Xmen team. Goofing off when they were possibly in mortal danger wasn't the type of guy he wanted on the team. He needed to be able to trust everyone completely. While at times he didn't like Logan, he did trust him in a fight.
Scott turned back to Kitty, watching her through the window. He could see the frustration on her face. Then he heard the door lock pop. "Are there any guards outside the door?" he called. There were definitely times when having a telepath on the team would come in handy.
He gestured for Kitty to come on back down. He needed into that control room so that they could find out where the Professor was, and if anyone esle was in the facility.

Kitty
Kitty stuck her face through the wall, far enough to look both ways. She didn't see anyone, but that didn't mean jack. Pulling back into the room, she then phasing through the glass to the others. "I don't see anyone." She gave a helpless shrug. "But the door is unlocked." She gave a victory smile.

Emma Frost--The White Queen
Tag: Charles Xavier, Kitty Pryde
Emma scoffed, bringing a sleek gloved hand to her face as she casually brushed away a stray blonde tendril that had fallen in her face. She smirked a bit wickedly, although Charles Xavier could not breach her mind, his was an open book to the cunning Ms. Frost.
"Erik was right, that was fast."
"On the contrary, Charles. I think my little headpiece packs quite a punch, wouldn't you agree?" Emma started, leaning in towards Charles, focusing her energy as psionic energy into a force bolt--but she was soon interrupted.
A siren roared behind Emma Frost. Security breach. She whipped around without hesitation, storming to the door and turning back a final time to Chalres Xavier. "Oh, you must love this." She sneered before storming out and slamming the door behind her.
"Watch him." She barked at two Hellfire guards as she stormed past them and back into the surveillance room.
She lingered casually in the entrance, letting the door slam behind her as to startle Kitty. "Lost, are we?" She asked the girl, placing her hands on her hips. Upon Emma's study of Charles Xavier's student roster, she recognized Kitty Pryde--the phasing girl. That made sense.

SCOTT tag Quicksilver, Kitty, Emma
Scott was about to answer Kitty when Emma Frost caught her. As long as she was in a phased state, he didn't think he had to worry about Kitty. Still, a number of expletives ran through his mind. He looked at the others and nodded his head toward the door. Hopefully they could clear the room before Emma noticed them.
He really didn't want to be gassed again. He headed toward the door, ready to blast Emma into oblivion. As he poked his head out, siren sounding all the while, he noticed the new student running from the guards. Damn, Scott thought. He still needed into that control room. He hoped Kitty would have enough sense to phase out of there before Emma had a chance to do anything to her.
rpgamer501 - February 22, 2006 03:50 PM (GMT)
Once Kitty said the doors were unlocked, Logan popped his claws and promptly sunk them into each side of the double doors. Pulling his arms apart, the doors slowly creaked open until there was enough space to put a hand, or two through.
"Pete..." he called over his shoulder, stepping back from the doors to let the metallic-muscled mutant rip the doors the rest of the way open.
colOZsus - February 23, 2006 01:17 PM (GMT)
"On it, Logan" Colossus said and he returned to his metal form and tried to force the doors apart, he strained. These doors were very heavy but he was sure he was man enough for the task. He carried on straining and after a couple more attempts he spoke up. "Actually this would be easier if one person concentrated on each door. I could do this myself but I don't want to use all my supply of strength. Plus, I don't like working out straight after I wake up!"
He hoped that was funny and turned to find out if anyone was laughing. It was then he saw that Kitty was trapped "KATYANA!" Colossus shouted as he folded the doors like they were nothing. "What do we do now?" He looked at Cyclops, then Wolverine then Rogue and Bobby. He felt a pang of anxiety in his metallic stomach. What were they going to do?

Kitty
Kitty turned to the sound of the slamming down with a yelp of surprise. "Oh shoot!" She pulled back into the other room. "C'mon, you guys, let's scram!" The usually blubbly brunet shouted. Her heart still pounded against her ribcage over the startle the White Queen had given her.
rpgamer501 - February 23, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
A wry grin appeared on Logan's face, watching Peter's seeming embarassement over the doors. "I knew it was something that pushed yer buttons, kid..." He grinned, walking by and slapping his steel chest. "Glad to know it's the girl."
Once outside, Logan immediately switched back into 'work' mode, testing the air for a moment. "We can't congregate here for long. Who's to say that the witch won't try and gas us again."
Cyke101 - February 23, 2006 06:47 PM (GMT)
SCOTT
He was ready to get out of there himself. "I'd be more worried about her psionic blast. As evil as the White Queen might be, I don't think she's in this alone, so keep your eyes peeled, folks." He followed Wolverine out the door and quickly took the lead.
He looked to Kitty and asked, "Did you happen to see where they were keeping Jean, the professor, or any other mutants?" He hoped she had, otherwise she'd be phasing in and out of cells all day long in order to find the others.

Kitty shook her head. "No, I only had a second to look before the White Queen came. What's with her outfit anyway?" Kitty gave a scoff, muttering the last part to herself. "Can't the Hellfire Club afford something that covers everything?" (Never did understand that myself, lol)

Chris's metallic form smashed through several armed men and he finally noticed someone he recognized. A fellow from the school, Scott was his name... Chris had only visited for a short time. But the young man's ruby quarz glasses were unmistakable. Moving quickly he stopped short of the fellow and spoke.
"S..Summers right? Name's Chris. Look I've got a whole mess of bad coming down after me. Anyone else here that needs out? Because we need to get going as soon as...uh oh.."
A score of men came charaging down the corridor and stoped to take up positions, with various firearms. Each were designed to deliver a non lethal jolt of electricity much like tasers only far more advanced. They wanted the mutants alive.

~Arianna~
Arianna was struggling to make sense of the garbled sounds she was hearing in the back of her head.
The sounds of sirens, mixing with the sounds of sirens and smoke detectors from a life she was forced to elave behind.
A baby crying.
Flames.
And then blackness left and the sound, the tangible fear, the light came crashing in.
She jerked up, and she could feel the energy leaving her body, she could feel the temperature rising. Fire. Fire would come.
She looked around the room, trying to control the power that she felt slipping away from her.
Theyw ere elaving. They were all elaving this wierd room. She could hear hurry, she could ehar worry, she ehard questioning about others.
She hadn't been with the Professor and the X-Men for very long, but she knew that they were good people, and that if they needed help, she would help, whther or not she was still an outsider.
She felt the heat building. She needed to try and focus, that's what everyone kept telling ehr, but in her confused state, she wasn't quite sure why not trying to burn this place down would be a good idea.
Let it go up in flames. Whatever it was. it ahd been holding them captive.
But there were still others here.
"What the Hell is going on?" she asked the few stragglers that were still working on leaving, as she left with them.

SCOTT tag Storm, Nightcrawler, Logan, Kitty
Scott took in their surroundings, not too pleased about the whole situation. Then again when was anything just cut and dry with X-missions? He knew he couldn't risk the students by dragging them along in the quest to find Jean and the Professor.
He looked to Storm who had always been Co-Leader of the team. "Storm I need for you to take the students and get them out of here. I won't ask any of you to come with me to find Jean and the Professor, but I assume Wolverine is coming with me. I'd like for Shadowcat to come as well, however that is completely up to her. The rest of you, its all up to you. Student's you don't have a choice."
He let out a breath, ready to be getting on the way. The guards were far to close on their heels, and he was sure Emma Frost was going to send them some nasty surprises. He also didn't for one moment believe that Emma was on her own. So they also had to look out for whomever she was working with.
MYSTIQUE tag: Emma
Mystique slinked into the control room behind Emma and witnessed Shadowcat's little dissappearing act. She smiled slyly, saying cattily, "Magneto won't be pleased." In fact he'd probably be royally peeved. In a way Mystique was surpised that Magneto had undertaken this endeavor. Magneto as a rule did not care for telepaths, and that he would have the world's 3 most powerful telepaths under one roof was slightly puzzling. However, she'd learned long ago not to ask too many questions where Eric Lensherr was concerned. It simply wasn't a healthy past time.
Mystique knew she was the only real constant in Eric's life, and even her presence could be quite fickle. Just as she didn't push him, he also didn't push her. She was far too valuable to him. Many thought that she was a simple little pawn in his game, but truth was they used each other. Their relationship was one of mutal need, not of a more powerful force controlling a weaker force.
Lately Mystique had preferred to spend much of her time in Washington D.C. playing the part of Senator Kelly. Currently Kelly had the president's ear, particularly on all things mutant. She had been working rather closely with Xavier's representatives, knowing that Xavier's Xmen knew that the real Kelly was long dead. It was a risky venture, but as long as she minded her p's and q's she didn't think that they would out her. In a way it slightly mucked things up in D.C. that Magneto and Emma had banded together to kidnap the Xmen and their founder, for reasons that were not known to her.
She hadn't quite decided whether to help the x-men out or to recapture them for Eric.

Emma Frost--The White Queen
TAG: Mystique, X-Men
Emma snarled slightly as the X-Men fled the surveillance room without so much as breaking a sweat, rushing the halls to recover their beloved Charles Xavier and Jean Grey. This was not good, especially for Emma Frost. She had been placed in charge of keeping a careful eye on the X-Men and their fearless leader, and at this she had failed. They were gone. It was true, she was down, but Emma Frost was never out.
Before Emma could make her way to the surveillance board, Mystique's voice instantly found her ears. She whipped around, her icy blue gaze meeting Mystique's reptilian eyes. "I'm well aware of the situation, though I applaud your optimism." Emma fired back, speaking with her usual condescending sarcasm. She moved forcefully towards the surveillance screens and control board, taking a seat at the keyboard. She shot a glare back at Mystique, arching a critical brow. "Were you quite finished? Busy girl, things to do." She stated tartly, placing the control board headset over her ears, a microphone extending down just before her lips.
Emma wasn't much for the hand-to-hand, she much preferred a good game of cat and mouse. She flipped on the surveillance screens as the wall before her lit up with small television screens that corresponded to cameras throughout the facility. A minute hadn't passed before Emma knew exactly where Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, and the new generation of X-Brats were. She had to give them credit, they were good. She, on the other hand, was better.
She clicked the intercom button on the switchboard, eyeing the screen where Cyclops gave his pep-talk to the younger X-Students in twisted focus. "Tsk, tsk. You didn't really think it was going to be that easy, did you? Stick around. The fun is just beginning, lovelies." She purred devilishly over the system, smirking at her own cunning.
Without warning, the X-Men were surrounded by a fleet of Hellfire Club guards, each armed with the latest weaponry. Oh yes, this would be entertaining.

"Puh-leeze..." Logan grumbled, almost 'happy' to see the the gaggle of red shirts show up. He much preferred a straight-on fight compared to the whole subtle manueverings like they were pawns on some chessboard. He masochistically grinned as triple adamantium claws slid out from between his knuckles, locking in place with a familiar 'snikt'!
A gutteral, animalistic growl was all that was heard as he leaped into the fray... or more accurately, caused one.

"Oh, so now we gonna fight? I been waitin' for this." He fixed his sight to target one guy. "You ever play fifty-two card pick-up?" Gambit had a simple, evil smile on his face. "I'll show you how to play, eh?"
He held the deck in his hand between his tumb and middle finger with his index finger on the back of the cards, as they lay sideways in his right hand. Then he transferred some energy to them.
"Watch and learn!"
He began to release all the cards at a small group of guards.

Xavier
As Emma left the room, Xavier found himself watched by a couple of guards. Emma couldn't do any better than this? Who does she think she's dealing with? With her out of the room, perhaps he could try to contact Scott and the X-Men.
Scott. Scott, are you there? Can you hear me? If so, please let me know. I don't know where I am, but I am... Xavier slumped forward.
One of the guards must have realized what was happening. As soon as he did, the butt of his weapon connected with the back of Xavier's head, dropping him like a bad habit.

Bobby
Watching as Kitty caught a glimpse of the view outside of the dimly lit room, he didn't waste any time in catching up with the others as he made his way into the hallway and brought his hand up, turning it over with the palm of his hand facing the ceiling, a sly smile crossing his lips and settling there, as Wolverine jumped right into the brawl, or more accurately caused it, and then watched as Gambit followed suit. Pleased that for once he was able to do something to help as part of the team and not just new recruitment, he watched as a group of guards approached him cautiously, but nonetheless cunningly.
Raising their firearms, Bobby shot out a blast of ice at their weapons and apart from causing some intermediate frostbite, the impact forced them to take a few steps back and drop their weapons, a couple of them snapping and parts of it shattering. "They seem expensive, but they sound cheap enough." Just then, a sharp pain shot through his ear, as one of the other still equipped men aimed and missed, only hitting his right earlobe, but bull's eye at that. Bringing up his hand to rub his ear, he narrowed his eyes and swallowed back the pain, some blood trickling down the side of his neck. He knew that they weren't out for the kill, or they would've done so a long time ago, but they weren't going to play nice either.

Scott Summers/ fighting the hellions/ tags: Any involved
Once surrounded Scott's temper flared. Just. Want. To. Go. HOME, was the thought coursing through his head. Well, it had been the thought coursing through his head right up until the Professor tried to contact him. Of course before he was able to respond, Xavier went strangely silent. He hoped that their founder was okay.
Scott wasn't able to dwell in his own thoughts very long, because all hell was breaking loose with the Hellions... no pun intended. He automatically switched into battle mode, shoving students out of harms way while keeping one hand on his visor to regulate the blasts coming from his eyes. He seen Bobby get shot, found an opening behind their attackers and blasted the wall, causing it to start tumbling.
Mystique/ changing sides?/ tags: Xavier
Mystique watched Emma for a moment before quietly slipping out of the room, unnoticed. She let out a deep breath, slightly apprehensive at the prospect of what she was about to do. She knew that it would have consequences, but she also knew that if she did nothing, it was quite possible that this little venture could leave them in a very bad way. For whatever reason Magneto had teamed up with the White Queen to kidnap Xavier and his little band of superheroes, but the way things were shaping up Xavier or one of his precious followers was going to end up dead. As far as Mystique seen things, that would benefit no one. They were all on the same side, albeit from completely different directions. What good would it do to kill off other mutants, when they weren't the threat at all.
After making her way down the hall away from the commotion and more toward Xavier's holding cell, she found a place where she knew the security cameras couldn't see, and she did the unthinkable. She chose to go against Eric and help the X-men. Shifting into Erik's guise she strode towards Xavier's room. She tapped the metal helmet on her head. It was enough to make Emma think twice about trying to read her. She thought she would run into more trouble with the guard than she did. Once inside the room, she noticed the trickle of blood running down Xavier's head. That would muck things up a bit. She lay a hand on Xavier's shoulder in an attempt to rouse him. They needed to move quickly if they were to get out of this mess alive, and before Emma or Erik found out.

Storm:
"I'm on it Scott," Storm started to help some of the students out of the room, putting Bobby in lead so that he could freeze any oncoming gaurds. Storm, getting about half of the students out of the room, heard gun shots. She flew as fast as could to help Bobby, Oh no one bullets must have hit him. Storm saw that Bobby was bleeding and became angry, she flung the guard's gun into the wall just hard enough to make it shatter. Then she aimed at threatend to shoot a lightning bolt at him and killing him but decided to spare his life and knocking him unconsious. "Bobby as soon as weget out of here I'll fix you up but right now find something that might prove as an exit door okay." Storm rushed back to the others so that they could get out as well.

Bobby
Watching as Storm approached him, he shook his head in a careless way, although a look of pain had already been embossed on the better part of his face. His ear had turned a dark red and the part of his shirt covering his right shoulder was tainted with rich, dark crimson red splotches, but it wasn't enough to get him completely out of the game, so to speak. Placing his cool hand on his ear, he tried to numb it with his icy powers, but only managed to soothe the pain a little bit, which worked for the time being.
"No, no, I'm fine. He missed, so I'll be just fine," he said quickly, only glancing over at Storm to say that and then looking back full-time at the guards, whom seemed more pissed off than before as they helped each other up and re-equipped their weapons, then falling to the ground with deep grunts as the walls came crashing down after Scott snuck up behind them and used his visor. Storm had even threatened to kill one of the guys, he could tell so by the fire in her eyes and the lightning bolts that came crashing down and only knocked him unconscious, but she had spared his life and he was glad that she didn't have that on her conscious, although if it came down to it he was willing to go further than that, but it was just a minor injury compared to the ones that he had seen during other battles, namely the one where Pyro blew up a bunch of cop vehicles with his fire power with most of the cops still inside them.
He let go of his ear for a minute, looking around to try to find a way to get out of this mess which they now found themselves in. "Once we all get on one side of the hallway, I can create a wall of ice and trap them on the other side, hopefully long enough to get out of here unharmed, but we need to locate a door and then get everyone to stand by it," Bobby said to Storm in a low voice, so that the guards wouldn't hear his suggestions. "If only we could find the Professor or Jean... hey, where's Rogue?" he said, whispering the last bit to himself with a worried tone as he glanced around trying to spot her in the turbulence.

Gambit
Gambit was pulling another deck of cards out of the sleeve of his brown trench coat. He had hidden things in there for years. He pulled the cards free of its package and placed them in his pocket. Then he heard bobby.
"Rogue's missing? Where in the world did that little Belle of the Bayou go?"

Xavier

Xavier awoke. He was surprised to see Erik. Why would he be here? Oh yes, he's working with Emma. Not really his style, but then again, Erik does believe that mutants need to stick together.
"What do you want, Erik?" Xavier asked. "What could you possibly want from me that you obiviously haven't already taken?"

Mystique/ Charles' holding cell/ Tag: Xavier
Mystique, still disguised as Eric, looked around cautiously before leaning close and whispering, in her own voice, "I'm here to rescue you, for reasons I'd rather not waste time exploring at the moment. We have a very limited amount of time before someone figures out that I'm not really Magneto."
Straightening she said in Erik's voice, "My dear Charles, why I'm not going to take anything away from you. I'm simply going to... use you for a time."
She took hold of the handles on the back of Xavier's chair and pushed him forward, a little roughly. She motioned for the guard to open the door, which he did without hesitation.

Rogue
Knowing that she wasn't the strongest physically and well aware that she couldn't use her power indiscriminately while she still lacked a lot of understanding and control, Rogue decided to sneak off through a side hall while the others were embroiled in the fighting. She was worried about Jean; it made no sense that she had been separated from the rest of them. There had to be something else going on, some other reason that they would go after her. And it had to relate to the way Jean survived that wall of water. The other X-Men could deal with the group, but Rogue was better one on one, and she knew that on her own she would be able to more easily discover where Jean was hiding.
Looking behind her, making sure she wasn't spotted by Frost and her gang, Rogue moved off down the hall, trying to remain inconspicuous. The place was a rat warren, full of big twisting tunnels that could easily end up going nowhere. At first, Rogue just took every turn to the right when she came to a stop, but she quickly realized that wouldn't pan out in the end; she had to have a strategy. Ducking into a niche when a few foot soldiers walked past, she finally came up with an idea. They had to have heavy protection on Jean; she was their prize, the reason they had tried to trap the X-Men to begin with. So it would only make sense that the majority of the soldiers would be surrounding the area she was in. Silently following the guards that had just passed her, Rogue continued on her search for Jean.

Kitty
Kitty took a step back when te Hellions rushed in. Then she pressed her lips into a think line and ran on-head into the fight. Her powers were not really meant for combat. She could only avoid attacks, not innitiate them. But Kitty had a mean left hook when she tried. The youngest x-man was a push over, really, but she had some big friends!

Logan
As Logan gave a sweet upper-swipe with his claws, he noticed Rogue sneaking off down some hallway. He grit his teeth for a moment, the reward for his attention to her being another shot in the shoulder. The tranq stuff would work on the kids, but it just tended to piss him off. One slice went through the gun (wouldn't use that again), the next was a straight thrust into one of the Hellion's chest.
He needed to watch the kid, he figured. He slipped past the others, taking a couple down on the way, crossing the hall after the runaway.
"Hey, kid..." he called out, jogging up to her. "Where you headin'?"

Rogue
Nearly jumping out of her skin when she heard Logan call to her, she turned quickly and put one finger to her mouth, making the universal shushing motion. Grabbing his arm, Rogue pulled him into a little alcove. then, after making sure they weren't spotted by the guards, whispered, "I'm trying to find Jean. You know I'm not much use in a big fight like that, but I might be able to find her on my own. Are you-- will you help me?"
Logan's nose would be useful on the hunt for the missing doctor, but Rogue was nervous about his personal feelings getting in the way. I know he loves her. But... both he and Scott were so angry when she saved us all at Alkali Lake. I hope he can put that aside for a while because I really don't want to do this alone. Shivering in the damp, chilly air, Rogue rubbed her gloved hands over her arms and waited for an answer.
