Based on the movies and tv series highlander, Duncan MacLeod is an immortal, who was born 1592 in the highlands of Scotland. For 400 years, he's fought for his life. Immortals engage in sword fights to take the other's head. there are good and evil immortals. In the end, there can be only one. . . Highlander.

DOB: unknown, but it's somewhere in the mid-30th Centurery BC.

History: Born into royality, he was kidnapped and killed. During his funeral he was resurrected and scared his parents. They banished him into the desert. He began several adventures and spawned many myths. While in Greece, he learned how to sword fight when he was discovered by a man. He killed him. The fight had drawn attention and the lightning from the Quickening brought up the legend of Zeus. He moved on to Egypt where he became disliked by the Pharoah. Jeremiah had killed, stole, and had an affair with his wife. Then he was on to the Pharoah's daughter. Threatened with death, Jeremiah fled. He used the head of a Jackal to escape. With that, the Egyptians began to call him Anubis. It helped him escape, but he was captured later and burned. He was bruned alive by Pharoah. He came back to life and was seen as being the Pheonix and possibly Ra. He left to travel the world. He helped defeat Troy in use of the Trojan horse. He was involved in the civil War, WWI, WWII, and much more. He continues his onslaught to kill all immortals and rule the world. He's viewed as the third anti-christ by the bible and Nostradamus. He hibernates every so often. Now, he's back out of hibernation seeking the on they call highlander. He wants Duncan MacLeod's head to claim the Prize.

Name: Methos (Aka Adam Peirce)
Age: 5000 at best guess

Affiliation: Himself, nominally good.
Personality: Usually pretty unsympathetic to the plights of others, he nevertheless helps out when he has to. He prefers to stay low profile, and out of fights for his head. Survivng has become an art for this immortal. Cunning, he is not beyond tricking people into doing what's nessacary or fighting dirty.
History: Once a member of the Four Horsemen, Methos helped cut a swathe of destruction through history as Death. This alone would have been enough to secure his legend. Exactly where and when he came from no one knows and Methos claims to be unable to remember, making his exact age and origins impossible to determine, although it is genrally accepted that he was born in Egypt at the beginning of that great civilisation's reign.
Although he has no medical degree that we know of, Methos has played the role of a doctor at least since the 1800s; perhaps he would have continued in this if the Watchers hadn't redoubled their search for him. Sometime in the last ten years Methos has conned his way into the watchers themselves and even secured his place as the top dog on the Methos Project - neatly keeping his own existence a secret.
Other: It's possible, given their respecitve ges and origins, that Methos has met Jeremiah Lazarus before.

Personality: Kara is hasn’t seen a whole lot of the ‘darker’ sides of the world. Although truly sunny and happy by nature, she has the potential to be cynical, dark, and sometimes distant. She is easy to get along with and quick to make a friend despite everything.
History: Born in a small town in Michigan, Kara became interested in Archeology early on in her life. She moved to Paris to study at the Paris Sorbonne University where she recieved her Bachelor's Degree. She further went on to starting working in the University's Archeology Department as a researcher.
In March 2006, she was involved in a ( or what would have been a) deadly car accident while on a break. Kara was killed instantly, her car smashed beyond recognition. When Kara awoke, she was alone at the side of the road. She believed it was a miracle she survived unharmed. She called the authorities and told them about the crash. When they arrived, they couldn't understand how she survived. So, Kara resumed her normal life.
Other: Kara doesn't know that she is an immortal. She feels the Quickening when near other immortals but passes it off as a headache. She has no experience and no mentor. She is unprepared for the fight to be The One.
