There is a group of friends who used to live together in NYC. Maureen, Mark, Roger, Benny, and Tom Collins rented out an apartment together. Maureen and Mark broke up so she left with a female lawyer named, Joanne. Tom Collins had a job so he was never there. Benny left and marryed a rich snotty girl and he became Mark and Roger's landlord. Now it's around Christmas time and Roger, Mimi, Tom Collins, and Angel have aids. Mimi is the girl who lives on the floor below Mark and Roger and she has a thing for Roger. Angel comes into the story from Tom Collins. He meets Angel on the street and Angel helps Collins get better from being mugged. (Angel(male)=Drag Queen) They have to deal with that they have aids and the fact that they have no money and have to pay last years rent, this years rent, and next years rent!
