Powers: Christopher possesses the ability to move, think and react at superhuman speeds due to the unique bio-electrical field his body generates he can also generate and absorb electrical bolts. Chris can only do so as long as his body is covered in what he terms “quicksilver” To use his powers he must concentrate and his body is covered from head to toe in a silvery metallic coating of an unknown nature which allows him his super-speed powers. This coating protects him from the adverse conditions caused by traveling at hyper-speed velocities and affords him a bit of limited protection from physical trauma, such as small arms fire, fists, baseball bats and limited exposure to high temperatures such as a burning house.

However, the limits of his chrome coating is unknown, it’s doubtful it would afford him protection against a large or even medium sized explosion. Chris’s cruising speed when running is anywhere from 150 to 250 mph, at his maximum speed he can travel at Mach 2, twice the speed of sound but only for about two minutes before fatigue poisons build up in his blood stream and he exhausts his store of bio energies. In which case the “Quicksilver” that coats his body will immediately evaporate leaving him powerless and totally vulnerable until he rests.

The amount of energy Chris can generate from his bio-field is unknown, it is known that his most powerful bolts can destroy a small sized car. Though he is loathe to use a full power bolt on a living being, he generally uses his super speed to handle most problems.

Chris can absorb electricity, but has limits, he can absorb enough electricity to power a small office building, but that is his absolute limit.

Weakness: Despite his abilities, Chris possesses several weaknesses. Unless he is covered in his silvery metallic coating he is as vulnerable to damage and trauma as any other person. It takes anywhere from ten to fifteen seconds for him to transform completely and he must concentrate to do so, if that concentration is broken he must try again.

Chris’s powers are finite and have a definite limit to the amount of time he can use them, as his body has a certain amount of bio energy he can utilize, he must rest, eat and drink to restore his stores of bio energy.
The more bio electrical energy he uses, the slower he runs and thus the faster he depletes his energy stores. Chris’s metallic shell is resistant to some physical damage but can be pierced cracked or even melted by great enough force. While most small arms fire, will not penetrate his “quicksilver” shell, a rocket-propelled grenade would more than likely highly damage his shell and injure him.

If he attempts to absorb anything over this amount he’ll suffer overload and this could result in his injuring himself as the stored energies will damage him internally as well as externally.

Skills: Chris is a skilled violinist and is well versed in treating and seeing to the medical care of animals. He does have some limited first-aid training when it comes to treating humans, but his main field is in the realm of veterinarian medicine.

Besides being a talented musician he’s a fair cook and has been known to fix a few tasty treats for his friends now and then. He has a sharp eye for noticing things and a quick clever mind.

Personality: Chris tends to be rather shy and quiet around nearly everyone he meets, his more extroverted side comes out when he performs before others and it can clearly be heard in his music when playing the violin. He is a friendly, warm and very sensitive young man to those that get to know him. Chris is brave and loyal to his friends almost to a fault and will act even at the chance of putting his life in danger for innocents if the situation calls for it.

When using his abilities, Chris tends to say little and prefers to act taking each situation in stride. He will attempt to handle things as efficiently as possible, and does not suffer cruelty, malice or evil by other individuals easily.

Appearance: Chris is a handsome young man, to the fact that his face looks delicate and beautiful. The black curly locks of hair and green eyes make him seem somewhat exotic. The young man has a pleasant, and extremely friendly quality to him, while not a large muscular man, he has a runner’s slim and trim build. As his special abilities are hazardous on clothing, he regularly wears gym shorts, T-shirts and specially crafted running shoes. When in his “Quicksilver” state he’s coated with a silvery metallic chrome shell. Even his hair is coated, however his clothes are not. Which tends to make running at high speeds somewhat problematic when it comes to apparel. As long as he doesn’t exceed the speed of sound his clothes generally suffer no damage.

History: Christopher Stanton was born to a fairly average family, being a single child his family did well to provide for him. Chris grew up like any other child in Jackson, Tennessee as he did he fell ill in his seventh year to a mysterious flu like symptoms and was nearly lost. Though through many prayers and several good doctors, he recovered much to his parents joy.

By his thirteenth birthday, Chris’s father started a private helicopter taxi service. Giving tours and fares to different customers. For several years, the company proved lucrative and bountiful. During this time, Chris began to experience several strange changes about his body, and they weren’t the run of the mill changes bought on by puberty. By his thirteenth birthday, he began noticing he was experiencing fainting spells but said nothing to his parents about them. The fainting spells finally subsided and Chris went through high school enjoying all the joys and pains as do other teenagers during that time in their lives. During his time in high school it was then he discovered he had a penchant for animals and enjoyed medicine, only not healing and treating people. It was animals that he had an affinity for and decided to become a veterinarian when he graduated from college. It was during his freshman year in college that things began to change drastically for Chris, during Christmas break the young man and several of his friends were enjoying time lounging in a park. Chris’s oldest and best friend Angie Thompson’s little sister Alicia was nearly killed when a drunk driver ran off the road and sped onto the park grounds. Chris didn’t think but moved, in an instant his body was coated with a strange metallic coating and raced past the car grabbing the six year old and setting her safely away out of harms way.

Chris was shocked, frightened and even more so realized that he was far from normal. However, as shocked and frightened as he was, his friends and those around him were even more dismayed. As a result he began to suffer from the prejudice and persecution that often accompanies the emergence of a mutant’s nature.

Chris’s father and mother instantly found the situation too difficult to deal with and suggested he see a doctor or they contact some agency such as the government to effect a cure. His mother being more receptive to her son’s plight sought to diffuse the situation, suggesting that he hide his abilities, however Christopher’s father was less inclined to see things as such stating he would have no mutant for a son. The result was a heated argument in which Chris was disowned by his father and thrown out.

Chris however was undaunted in seeking to better understand his abilities and make a life for himself. Because of the incident with his powers, the young man switched to another college, found a job as an assistant veterinarian, and continued his studies, Chris went on with his life secretly keeping in contact with his mother the entire time. After finding a small apartment, near his college campus, Chris also used the night time hours when he could spare them to practice and learn more about his newfound mutant abilities. Helping others here and there along the way albeit secretly to protect his identity, calling himself Quicksilver as a code name of sorts. Christopher continues to attend college regularly, while using his abilities now and then to stop the occasional burglar, mugger or other small crimes.

Powers: Just like a dynamo can, Lexx can change mechanical energy (as in her own movement and regeneration process) into electrical energy. Because of the dynamo effect of her body, Lexx can magnetise and manipulate metal.

Weakness: If she is electrically charged up, water can be quite lethal to Lexx.

Skills: Lexx can speak fluent Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Irish Gaelic. Lexx is quite advanced and has an extended knowledge of marial arts. Lexx is a mastered guitarist. Lexx is a skilled skateboarder/in line skater/figure skater.

Personality: Lexx can come across as quite shy, until she knows someone and it is best when you get to know her, that you get on her good side. She is never shy when it comes to expressing how she feels through her music.

She used to cut herself and there was one point when she tried to drown herself because she knew that would be the easiest way, but her father found her and, unfortunately (as according to her), he saved her. After this, Lexx thought it best to run away from her parents, saving them from her.

Weakness: She can't control her powers yet. And it takes a lot of concentration to get anything big going. She msotly just does a few party tricks at the bar. Her emotions are a weakness becuase a lot fo the fires seem to spring up due to anger, or tied to something else, if she focuses on it too much. She's also somewhat afraid of herself because of some of the things she's done.
Skills: She doesn't see herself as having any special skills...but she's good at playing to people...usually to ehr own selfish ends though. And she's an agile gymnast.

Personality: As I said before her emotions are tied greatly to ehr powers right now. This is becuase she's pretty hotheaded and quick to anger. She doesn't like to be second guessed, or challenged. She knows what she knows, and doesn't like for that to be challenged.

She does however, know how to work a room, a crowd, or one person. She can control even her temper most times to convicne people she is a certain way, if it will help her. She is a survivor, having lived on the streets for years. It's made ehr shrewd and a little callous. She's very jaded from her experiences.
But sometimes you can still see the good girl that she used to be. The scared girl covered in guilt, who really jsut wants people to accept her.

History: She was born to an average household. Until the age of sixteen she was an only child. Her parents doted on ehr hand and foot, supporting ehr studying gymnastics sometimes at cost to themselves. Which she really didn't like. They just wanted ehr to be happy and she jsut wanted them to be happy.
When she was 16 they had another baby. her littls sister Eliza, whose picture she still carries in ehr wallet, to remind her of good times, of what could be, and of why she has to be careful, of why she should be afraid of herself and keep the truth a secret.

When Ariana was seventeen, the baby would not stop crying when it was sick. She couldn't concentrate on ehr homework and she got angry...and blew up. Although, this time quite literally. She caught the youngsters crib on fire.
Her parents knew what was happening almost automatically, and being non-tolerant of their daughters new mutant powers and the fact that Ariana had jsut killed Eliza, they kicked her out.

Ariana spent the next year living on the street, until she found a job at a bar in New York, called Xcape. And now she lives in a shithole apartment there.

Skills: Glaze is a very good fighter. She fights very well with knifes, swords and anny other object with a blade.

Personality: She is a smart girl but she gets mad very fast and she likes to be the boss. She's very nice to her friends but she doesn't care about others. She can be easyly influenced.

History: Glaze was born in a wealthy family. When she was 14 years old her parents found out about her powers and they took her to a hospital. There she was severly beaten cause the 'doctors' tought that this way she'll be 'normal' again. When she was 15 professor Xavier took her at his school. Since then she has friends and she started to love her powers.

Personality: She was the only daughter to the King of Nova Roma, and at times acts like a little princess. Amara will often cover her lack of understanding with a bitchy "better than thou" attitude, but she is truly a very good person.

Appearance: Amara is a girl with a tan skin and brown hair. She has brown eyes and she's beautiful

History: Amara's entire adolescent life was spent on an island (Nova Roma) that was completely hidden from the rest of the world. As time and technology moved forward, her homeland did not. She is still learning to understand present-day technology (i.e. electricity, cars, computers, etc...).

Powers: Avalanche is a mutant with the superhuman ability to generate powerful waves of vibrations from his hands, creating highly destructive effects. The vibrations can cause an inorganic object to shatter or crumble into dust. When directed against large objects like buildings or upon the earth itself, the vibrations can produce effects similar to those of an earthquake or avalanches within limited areas. Avalanche need not touch an object to affect it: he can direct the vibrations against it from some distance away from it.
Avalanche is himself invulnerable to the effects of generating these intense vibratory waves. However, if the vibrations were to be reflected back upon him, he would be injured.

Weakness: His powers are very taxing and gives him headaches. Therefore, he can only employ his abilities on a limited basis before losing control of his potentially unlimited powers.

Skills: He's pretty smart and knows when to stop fighting.

Personality: He can be hot headed at times, when he gets mad he brings the roof down (literally). Sometimes he can be pretty quiet though.

Appearence: He's pretty handsome. He has brown hair and eyes. His weight is 195 lbs and his height is 5'7"

History: Considering he was put into foster care, it's safe to assume that Lance is an orphan. As the story goes, he arrives in Bayville around the same time period as Kitty but is recruited by Mystique while Kitty is welcomed to the X-team. Sooner or later, Lance becomes more or less the unofficial leader of the Brotherhood - technically, it's assumed Pietro should be leader, being a son of Magneto, but in terms of actual leadership - Lance takes over.

Lance possesses a very cool, very taxing power of the ability to cause seismic earthquakes which causes incredible damage to property around him. Which, naturally, makes him very popular with the adminstration. However, using his powers gives him a heck of an immense headache. Hanging out with the Brotherhood, the whole ripped-jeans, long hair look quite frankly, puts him in the category of rebel, along with his friends - Pietro (Quicksilver), Todd (Toad), Fred (Blob) and Co.

Lance meets Kitty as she flies out of a locker when discovering her powers (don't ask, just go along with it). Realizing he could possibly manipulate the younger mutant, he cons her into slipping into adminstration with the intention of stealing exam answers, which sadly goes awry when the rest of the X-men step in to interfere. And alas, the love story is temporarily halted.

But Lance himself doesn't revert 180 degrees for the sake of a girl. Naturally, enter the feuds. Scott Summers is also known as Public Enemy No. 1 for Lance. Leader of the Brotherhood and Leader of the X-Men don't mix, and it's often those two that are seen showing outright animosity towards each other.

Lance is fairly intelligent, when need be, and by default, has to take it upon himself to scrounge the money and the food to keep the Brotherhood going. He's had some brain lapses, such as his idea to reveal their mutant powers to the public, but overall, he's the one the Brotherhood depend on for the most part.

Avalanche smirked as he stood with his legs apart facing a building. "I think it's time to stir up some trouble," he muttered as he glanced over at Pyro who was laughing as he created a large horseman out of the flame of the flamethrower he was holding.
He turned back to the building he was facing and as he did so the ground started shaking. He placed both hands on the ground causing it to tremble harder, he smirked in both exhaustion and because of the people around him shouting that the entire place was going to explode. The smirk slipped from his face as the building he was facing collapsed into the ground and into the crater he created.
He sighed as he stood up straight and turned away from the building.
"You want some more?" he shouted as the people who were still watching but fleed after he turned his attention to them.
He smiled and back over to his comrads who were waiting for him.

Powers: Havok is a mutant possessing the power to absorb ambient cosmic energy, process it and emanate it from his body as waves of plasma in the form of a blast or discharge, with a tell-tale concentric circle pattern. These waves will emanate from his body in all directions unless he purposefully tries to channel them in a single direction, usually along the length of his arms. This results in control over an extremely powerful sort of destructive force. He is immune to the adverse effects of most forms of radiation and heat. At times, he is not entirely able to control this ability which sometimes makes him a danger to those around him unless he wears a special containment suit to assist him. Havok is immune to his own powers and to those of his brother Scott.

Weakness: Havok's body is constantly in the process of absorbing cosmic radiation. When each of his body's power-storage cell enclaves reaches its capacity, excess energy is thereafter absorbed and immediately re-emitted in negligible quantities. Upon the total expenditure of all his available energy, it takes Havok's body about 16.5 hours to recharge to its peak level. The act of concentration involved in releasing his energy in anything other than an omnidirectional wave is physically exhausting for Havok if he continues it over an extended period of time.

Skills: He has been taught martial arts by Wolverine. He is also well educated in the field of geophysical science.

History: When Alex was a boy growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, his father took the family for a flight in their airplane. It came under attack by a Shi'ar spaceship. As the plane caught fire and was crashing, his parents fastened Alex and his older brother, Scott, into a parachute and pushed them off the plane in hopes that they would survive.

The Summers boys were put in an orphanage and Alex was soon adopted though his brother Scott remained there for much of his childhood. Alex was raised by the Blandings; a family whose son, Todd, died in a car accident. They tried to make Alex fit into the image of their son and he tried to do as best he could. When the boy responsible for Todd's death kidnapped Alex and his foster sister, Haley, Alex manifested his powers for the first time incinerating the boy. Sinister appeared eager yet surprised that Alex’s potential exceeded that of Scott's but he seemed to lack control over his gift. Sinister placed psi-blocks on both Alex and Haley's minds causing them to forget what had happened that night.

Alex was captured by Bolivar Trask and his Sentinels, who were bent on controlling or eradicating all mutants. Trask fashioned a costume for Alex that would help him control his powers and Alex took the code name Havok. Trask turned out to be a mutant himself and the Sentinels were defeated by the X-Men. Havok actively joined the X-Men and began a relationship with Lorna Dane, Polaris. While the senior X-Men were in the Savage Land, Havok and Polaris were approached by Professor X about the imminent invasion of the alien Z’Nox. During this time the couple fell in love.
Havok and Polaris were occasional members and allies of the X-Men for years. During one of their adventures, Polaris was possessed by the mutant Marauder Malice ending the romantic relationship for a time.

Code Name: Femme Fatale

Powers: Ashlee, or "Femme Fatale", is first of all a shapeshifter. But to think of her as being similar to the likes of Mystique is a foolish thought. Instead of perfectly mimicking a given animal or creature like the ficticious Beast Boy, her transformations are random, slimy, grotesque, and unpredictable. Instead of morphing the whole for imitation, she instead randomly generates different bodyparts, becoming a huge constantly morphing blob of multiple limbs, jaws, eyes, and tentacles. How she does this has puzzled the faculty of the school for some time, but theories have come up to explain it away.

Apparently, Ashlee has complete and total control over every single molecule in her body, including her own DNA. The current theory holds that she has a psychic bond to each molecule, and can thus somehow control her entire bodily functions. As such, she tends to increase her density to tremendous degree, part of the reason why she weighs so much for such a relatively slim girl.

Last but not least, she can apparently assimilate other organic creatures if they are within her grasp, absorbing and scanning the DNA. If she can absorb enough of the target's genetic coding, Ashlee can temporaily mimic the victim's abilities, weaknesses, or even on occaision their physical appearance. If she continues to assimilate the target, she will eventually break them completely down on the molecular level, absorbing their body into her mass.

Weakness: While her huge mass protects her from wounds while transformed, Ashlee is not invulnerable, and can be harmed by explosives, electric attacks, or heat based attacks.

Skills: Biology mostly, though she has some good fighting skills. She loves to draw, and is a webmaster in her free time sometimes.

Personality: Perky, Ashlee prefers to keep a good atmosphere about her, being positive without also being annoying. She's a good girl, and her calmness during tense situations helps. This has made her popular among some of the supers at the mansion.

Appearance: Ashlee is an upbeat girl. She likes to wear the latest trends in fashion, and her clothing tends to be flashy, despite the somewhat shady color choices. Despite these dark selections in color, she never tries to look moody or dark, but is flashy in whatever she wears. For missions, she will wear a special skintight jumpsuit that covers her entire body except for hands and the head. This costume is particularly designed for her, as it can morph and dissolve while she transforms. When she reverts to her normal human form, the suit reforms back into its normal shape.

History: Ashlee's metamorphic capabilities have been with her since early childhood, becoming apparent every time she threw a temper tantrum or displayed any kind of extreme emotion. Her parents, afraid of possible abuse by normal human kids and the eventual transformations, kept her away from the outside world as much as possible, homeschooling Ashlee and sheltering her. However, the strain of raising her, especially in light of her abilities became too great for the family, and so the parents contact Prof. Xavier, hoping to move her away to his school.

Ashlee is now a beautiful young lady, having been a student since her preteen years. She has advanced and developed in her powers to a greater extent and is hoping to get some outside action as a member of the X-Men. She has made many friends, and loves to occasionally spar Wolverine. However, until that day she continues her college studies, all the while eagerly awaiting her day to come...

Ashlee sighed, leaning back in her chair as she put down the oencil she had shortly before been writing with. For the past ten minutes she had been writing down and drawing charts for multiple dehydration reactions designed to create lipids. It was tough work, and despite excelling most of the other students at it she didn't particularly care for it. As she leaned back she took off her sweat shirt and tied it around her waist as she scanned the room filled with other mutants just like herself, hard at work on their own papers.

The teacher, an X-Men member whose name kept escaping Ashlee's memory, looked up at the wall clock and stood up. "Now that time is up class, let us continue our study into protiens." A united groan came from the class. Silently Ashlee giggled to herself at the fate of her classmates as the teacher droned on about protien structure and enzymes...

Powers: Jubilee is a mutant with the superhuman ability to generate what she calls her "fireworks:" energy globules that vary in degrees of power and intensity. The globules obey her mental control, traveling where she directs them, arranging themselves in balls, streamers, and other shapes, and exploding when she wishes. These combinations may result in anything from a multitude of colorful sparkles capable of temporarily blinding a person to a fairly powerful detonation, capable of smashing tree trunks or metal objects. She can absorb these "fireworks" back into her own body without harm to herself.

Weakness: Her frequent disregard for authority.

History: Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee was born and raised in Beverly Hills as the daughter of two prosperous Chinese immigrants, Dr. and Mrs. Lee. She attended an exclusive Beverly Hills school where she became an extremely talented gymnast. One weekend her parents lost their money in the stock market. That same weekend two hit men mistook Dr. and Mrs. Lee for their neighbors, also named the Lees, and killed them.

Orphaned and impoverished, with nowhere to live, Jubilee was sent to the Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall. There she learned how to defend herself and became rebellious towards authority. The Juvenile Hall authorities arranged to send her to another orphanage. Fearing that she might eventually be sent to live with her only living relatives, who were in Communist China, Jubilee ran away to the Hollywood Mall.

At first she survived as a petty thief, stealing whatever she needed. But one day, trapped by mall security police in a dead end, in her fear and panic she unwittingly activated her superhuman powers for the first time. Globules of energy, which she would later call "fireworks," shot from her hands, exploding in front of the police, enabling her to make her escape. From then on Jubilee led a lonely life, her outwardly cynical attitude hiding her deeper fear that she could not trust anyone. She earned a living by creating "fireworks" displays for the mall customers with her newly emerged abilities.

Then one day, mall security, having failed to capture her yet again, contacted the novice mutant hunters known as the M Squad. Luckily, several female members of the X-Men--Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue, and Storm--happened to be shopping at the Hollywood Mall that day. They foiled the M Squad's attempt to capture Jubilee.

Over the following months Jubilee accompanied Wolverine in his travels through Asia. He became like a second father to her.

Jubilee finally met Professor Charles Xavier, the founder of the X-Men, when they were both captured. Subsequently, when the X-Men reunited under Xavier's leadership, she became a full member of the team. She continued to accompany Wolverine frequently on his solo missions.

History: After his parents died, and his foster parents, Jean-Paul struck out on his own and ended up in Quebec City. There, he met Raymonde Belmonde, who became his mentor and guardian, helping him cope with both his emerging powers as well as his homosexuality. He eventually became a pro skiier, earning fame and fortune very easily with his powers to aid him. He was contacted by Department H, and was shocked to learn of his true name and that he had a sister. He agreed to join Alpha Flight to be with his sister.
Northstar recently came out about his sexuality to the media. A bout of depression hit Northstar some time later, as he felt he had lost his purpose in life, which brought him to an attempted suicide. Realizing one of the main elements missing in his life was his sister, he began to seek her out. In doing so, they both joined with Alpha Flight to battle the menace of the then Weapon X. After this battle ended, both Northstar and Aurora rejoined Alpha Flight for some time.

When Northstar was satisfied that Aurora was in good hands with Alpha Flight, he felt he had obligations to fill, being a gay Super Hero. He wrote a book entitled "Born Normal". It was at this time that Jean-Paul was approached by Jean Grey of the X-Men. She asked him to join an X-Men strike force, to save Professor X, who had been captured by the X-Men's greatest enemy, Mageneto. Though at first Northstar declined the request, he did eventually consent to take part. The mission was successful, and Northstar's contribution was very important to the mission's success. At this time Jean-Paul decided not to stay with the X-Men, and went on his way.

He sat alone in the cabin that he'd bought years ago, but rarely found the downtime to visit. He looked across the vast frozen tundra and comtemplated his life thus far. Vast frozen tundra. That summed up his love life, and practically his professional one. He was tired of being in the public spotlight. He'd spent all of his adult life there, and much of his adolescence. First a skiier, then a mutant, then a gay mutant superhero.

For a long time the gayness came first. It was as if his sexuality had superceded everything else about him, when in reality it was just a minscule part of him. He still ate and slept and raged like anyone else. He just loved other men. In coming out, he'd pretty much guaranteed that for a time he couldn't even stand next to a male team-mate without the media speculating on a relationship. It made making friends difficult. He liked to think that with time everything had smoothed out, but the reality was that there was some people who would always hate his homosexuality or be uncomfortable with it. Just like there would always be some people that would hate his x-gene.

He'd learned long ago to keep his skin thick. There was no point in getting too wrapped up in what others thought. Of course with skin as thick as his, it made it impossible for others to get too close. He told himself that he prefers it that way, but he knows deep down that it wasn't true. Maybe someday, someone would be able to look past his thick skin, and barbed comments to see the lonely man underneath.

Krystal walked though the mansions hall and into the kitchin, creeping along in bare feet. she jumped slightly as the clock stricked 12, she knew she would be in trouble if she was found up this late......again. she opened the fridge and was welcomed by the light, it lit up her p.js, a baggy white t-shirt and boxers, it also made her bright blonde hair shine. she grinned as she saw the big chocolate cake that they had had some of that night, they'ed never know if she had some more. she cut her self a big slice and sat down at the table grabbibg a spoon on the way, she loved the fact that no matter how much she ate she never gained a pound.

she ate it slowly, savering the taste and thinking slowly. she knew she shouldnt be up at this time, she had an early training session tomorrow morning and then she had to teach classes all day. when she had finished, she washed the plate and spoon and put them away. she grinned and started upstairs - stopping to cheak her reflection - but she forgot to watch the floor and fell back down a flight of stairs on a skateboard one of the students had left out.

History :Titan, born as Amarillo Remington was raised in a small eastern coastal town in Texas known as Beaumont.She was the youngest of 5 children, all boys.This gave Amarillo her personality, tomboyish and cocky.Around the age of 5, her parents discovered her powers.Her softball rolled underneath their Ford F250 cattle shipper, and they all watched in amazement as she picked up the front of the truck with ease and retrieved the ball before setting the front end back down.
Her mother was immediatly shocked and frigthened by her only daughters powers, and tried to hide her in the house, afraid that she might have hurt herself in some way. Her father however, when to several doctors in a attempt to find out why she was like this. Five years and thirty doctors later, the Remington's were told of the Xavier Mansion and its inhabitants. They flew out when Amarillo was 10, and introduced themseleves, and their daughter to Proff. Xavier. When he told them that she would be accepted there, her mother objected and said she was too young and demanded to her husband that they take their daughter home.
After 7 years of Carnivals and Festivals and working at Rodeo's and other odd-end jobs, Amarillo's mother finally gave in and allowed her daughter to be taken to the Xavier Mansion. Her eldest brother drove her up there and dropped her off.Now she is waiting to be accepted into the mutant world.

Powers: Emission is what is known as a Deflective, therefore whatever offense that heads toward her way is angled and shot instead at the offender. However, the stray attacks that do harm her harm her very little. Instead, she absorbs the offense, sometimes unknowingly, so that she can generate a shield when another offender appears. She also can move these offenses and rearrange them. For instance, if a bullet comes toward her, with a wave of her hand she can turn it into hot melted metal that she controls. With this metal she can seriously harm the offender. Or she can simply destroy the bullet. When a laser gun is shot at her, however, she can do much more. She can bend the laser into an arc that can shoot twice as fast at the enemy. She also can make the laser brighter as to blind the offender, or turn into a 'light saber.' With her absorption abilities she can use the offensive stuff inside of her to make the offense more offensive.
Weakness: Once you start trying to harm Emission, you will try and try again time and time again without avail. Guaranteed. But she does have a weakness--and to expose it to the world would be harmful. When she absorbs too much she may die. However she is careful to avoid this. Her second, more difficult to deal with weakness is that she cannot absorb nor change fire.

She had gone as far as Boston when she stumbled upon a crying man she recognized as Cyclops, who she had heard of many a time.

Cyclops, apparently, had lost the love of his life and wasn't thinking straight. He fired his laser at her and she had bent it and fired it back at him. She had fled, thinking the X-Men were no good.

Then she turned to Magneto. He was evil, against Charles Xavier. She wanted to avenge the hurt she had felt. She was appointed as his 'top-ranking mutant,' even above Mystique. However, she caught them plotting together and then they shut their mouths when she found them. She left the liars to roam America as a lone, who took no sides. She still remains a lone to this day.

I got a really cool char idea! The Stepford Cuckoos! (Those are the Emma Frost-looking quintets). They're kind of a 5-in-1 character since they're mot powerful when they merge their minds.
