Armies of men are crossing Middle Earth, wanting to take over Edoras and Minas Tirith, to take the thriving land that is left and make it their own. Even though most of the elves have left Middle Earth, they have not yet began to try and cross elven territory, but they wish the elves to leave quickly, or they will be forcing them to. They keep the dark values and beliefs that Sauron has given them, and in this way Sauron continues to live.
