The Shire: Celebration of the marriage of Sam & Rosie, (May 1st, 3020, 5pm)

Gandalf: Gandalf took another long drink of his ale and a puff off his pipe as he watched the hobbits dancing. It was quite a celebration for Sam and Rosie, and Gandalf was glad to see such things happening in The Shire again. Saurman's destruction of The Shire was unspeakable, and it meant more than all his years in Middle Earth to see their happiness. He was sorry that many of their friends had to miss the occassion, but darkness was not yet completely stamped out in the world, and many had work to do. He was going to soon find himself on the road again, to Rohan, and then to Minas Tirith. The Istar was still living a nomadic life, but a stirring in the enemies forces were rumored around the majestic cities. Whatever was going on, Gandalf was going to find out before he sailed from Middle Earth forever.

Rosie: Rosie laughed lighty as she danced with Sam. She was filled with a little ale herself, and her cheeks were red and the smile on her face was permanent for the night. Never had she imagined the day that Frodo and Sam went away would she ever see him again, let alone hear the incredilbe story they had to tell when they returned.

Arwen: Arwen's steps were quick as her footsteps fell on the stone of the halls. Her long dress flowing behind her as she kept turning corners. Once she reached the door she was looking for, she took a deep breath and knocked lightly before opening the door. "Aragorn?" she said. "My love, another attack on Ithilien has been reported. The forces have been drawn back, but 43 good men have lost their lives..." she told him. News such as this was never welcomed, but had to be given. All of the royal advisers and generals were constantly running around trying to ensure saftey, so Arwen often found herself having to tell her husband such news. "Are you to go there?" she asked him, now with concerned eyes as she studied his expression.

Legolas

Legolas jumped on Hasafelt, a white Stallion he named after one he recieved from the riders during the war named Hasufel. Accompanied by two guards of his kingdom in Mirkwood. Making sure everything was ready for the long ride towards The Shire, He reared back on Hasafelt and took off.

The timing on the journey was calculated just right by the sun and moon. He entered the small colony and jumped off his horse tieing them and allowed his own guards to enjoy themselves this night. He entered the tavern where all the festivities were being exhaulted and whisped his way past a few dancing hobbits with a light smile covering his face. Once reaching Gandalf, who's face seemed slightly distressed, his smile slightly etched into a straight grimace. "Is there something wrong, Gandalf? I know that face anywhere..." He spoke, laying a single hand on his shoulder and taking seat beside the White.

Gandalf: Gandalf was so in thought that he hadn't noticed Legolas walking across the room, not until he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Ah, Legolas-" he smiled as he said the elf. "I am glad that you have made it, and I'm sure once the hobbits see you, you will not have a free moment," he laughed lightly. He didn't want to answer Legolas' question in such a happy moment, but he knew the elf would not let it drop. "There have been rumors of reistance. The men that our enemy corrupted are rising to take what they were promised and not given. Did you encounter anything on your journies here?" Gandalf asked him, curious if anything had crossed his path.

Aragorn

Aragorn turned, hearing his wife's voice.

"My love... are you sure about the deaths? Did you see this as a vision or was this just told from a mans vision? I would put more faith in something you saw. Sometimes what men see is not always reliable anymore. Besides, we do not want to act until we are quite sure, especially for the safety of our son."

Sam sat down with his beloved wife and kissed her on the hand. He smiled with great joy before he took a large gulp of his ale. He put his ale down and then gave out a big burst of laughter as Pippin was saying a funny joke. "Good one Pip." Sam commented. He turned to Rosie and asked her, "Would you like to dance, just like our first dance at Bilbo's 111th birthday party? Do you remember that? I sure do." He smiled and stood up holding out his hand to her. There was not one doubt that crossed his mind about marrying this fine hobbit.

Rosie: "How could I forget it?" she asked gently, a smile on her face as she stood up to dance with her new husband. She couldn't believe that they had finally made it here. It seemed like it took a lifetime. Sam wasn't quite the same hobbit he was when he left. He was braver, and had a lot of wonderful stories they could tell their grandchildren one day. Stories that would pass on and be remembered until Middle Earth has disappeared all together. One thing hadn't changed, Sam was still loving and lovable, and she knew how strong he was to not let the evil take him over. She could not be more proud to be Sam Gamgee's wife.

Minas Tirith: May 1st, 3020, 5pm
OOC: Arwen and Aragorn have several daughters before they have their son, and they don't have kids for at least a year or more after their marriage, so I don't think they'd have their son yet, but the comment could be taken as a future comment, because they both know they will have a son. :) Hehe. That's info that's not exactly in the books even, but notes and history books for Middle Earth. Gotta love sites that summerize all that stuff, hehe. :)

Arwen: "Sadly my lord, the news comes from warriors that come from Ithilien. Men that survived the battle. They are being treated in the Houses of Healing right now..." she told him. It was to be expected that there would be a time where Middle Earth would still be in controversy, but Arwen had hoped it would be a quick transition...but it seemed that her hopes would not be honored. "I cannot tell you what is to come," she told him, a hint of sadness in her voice as she moved closer to him, and sat with her husband. "But I know that war will not keep me away from you again," she smiled softly. "But I do not see peace settling in soon...word of attacks on many realms of Middle Earth are being reported by scounts and messengers. You may find yourself in battle once again before it is all over..." she added, with a slight frown. She had spent many years away from Aragorn and unsure of their future, and Arwen did not want to find herself in that situation again....although it may not be helped.

Sam

"Oh I was so nervous when Frodo pushed me into that dance. But I now know that dance will play forever in my heart." Sam said as the song died down. After the song was over he bowed to his lady and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek.

He walked over to Gandalf and Legolas. "I'm glad you guys could make it. I'm really happy you're here." He gave Gandalf a hug and he paused and didn't know what to give Legolas so he just gave him a hug as well. "Have some cake and ale!" Sam said and waved to them as he walked away to a table with his surrounding friends and family.

He turned to Frodo and said, "Well Frodo, here's to my best man!" He raised his ale and dumped it on Frodo. Sam started to laugh greatly and he fell off the back of the bench. "Oh!" He said still laughing. He got back up and said seriously, "No, truthfully Frodo you are my best man." He hugged Frodo greatly and then shook his hand.

Merry

Merry found himself dancing among many different hobbit lasses. About five had practically thrown themselves on top of the Brandybuck to get a dance. It was odd, before the journey he couldn't get a dance at all. Now things were quite different. Hobbits called him a war hero and a warrior. Merry wasn't really sure he agreed with them, more like he was a survivor. But at the moment he was just enjoying dancing with the lasses.

As he spinned a girl with dark brown hair he caught Sam poruing ale onto Frodo. Laughing at his wet cousin, he decided to visit him. Merry bowed to the hobbit lass and walked off the dance area. As he left, he could hear her grumble to her friends but Merry ignored her. He would come back eventually.

Merry walked behind Frodo and whispered in his ear, "It seems like our dear Sam has hit the ale a bit too much." He smirked and grabbed a pint himself which he immediately began to drink. Then he patted the wet Frodo on his shoulder with a larger smirk.

~Eowyn~

Eowyn had also heard about the many deaths in Ithilien and it caused her great unrest.

She had settled quite nicely into life here in Minas Tirith. She was still good friends with Aragorn, becoming good friends with Arwen. And she had fallen in love...with Faramir.

And that was the part that made her uneasy.

If Aragorn went than Faramir most definitely would ride into battle. Faramir might ride into abttel anyway, but she would at elast ahve an argument if Aragorn didn't go.

And as selfish as it was, she couldn't imagine loosing him so soon. She didn't think her heart could stand it.
