Title: Star Trek: TNG

Deanna
Deanna was looking at her swolen belly in the mirror. Only two and half more months till the baby came. She felt like she had been pregnant forever now. Data was funny though. His antics and his excitement over a child. William, well, he was happy to become a father. She just hoped he felt that way once the baby came and was keeping them up screaming all night.

Will Riker
William moved up behind Deanna and placed his arms around her. He placed his hands over her stomach. He let out a gentle smile as he looked into the mirror.
"Amazing, isn't it? Those two in the mirror look so much in love."

Data was excited as much as an android with emulated emotions could be. He was already trying to decide what to get the Rikers at their baby shower. Data estimated 2.6 months and the baby would be born. He was definitely something to be happy about, so he was. Data sat in a nearly empty ten forward running thoughts through his positronic neural net (brain). What if he got them something in bad taste. It would be regrettable he deduced, indubitably.
Mere minutes later Data realized what time it was and exited the deck that served as a pub of sorts for the ship. It was time for duty. Data was lucky to have the ability to put things on the back burner simply as if it were a function of a program. There was a time and place for everything, the android knew. There would be more time to think on future matters later. The lieutenant commander stepped aboard the bridge and relieved Worf of command. Picard and Riker were elsewhere at this hour and he now had the bridge.
OOC: Sorry if some things are assumed, like the location of Picard this was all I could think of

Picard
The sound of soft violins filled the air of the captain's quarters as he finished dressing for the day. Tilting his head to one side, he adjusted the uniform top to insure a proper fit. Lord knows he'd tug it down all day, anyway. Jean-Luc smiled at his own folly in the years. After his first rejection from Starfleet Academy, he'd 're-worked' himself to be more 'Academy Material', and then got accepted. Tugging his uniform to always look like a proper officer was one of the habits he'd picked up.
Exiting his cabin, he took the turbolift up to the bridge. It opened to the familiar beige interior lined with communcation and operational equipment - the veritable brain of the Enterprise.
He smiled as he came down the incline to the command center. "Good morning, Mr. Data."

Data
Data observed the arrival of the captain of the Enterprise. He stood up from the captain's chair that he had taken. There were only two other people on the bridge at this time. Ensign Oakstar and Worf the Cheif Security Officer. Oakland was fairly new but as well he was good at his job. Oakstar was at the right console station at the front of the bridge and merely awaited orders to change course or give a reading of a statistic. The view screen displayed the vast expanse of space with stars seeming to move slowly for they were only traveling at impulse power.
"Good morning, Captain." Data answered Picard's greeting

Picard
Coming to stand beside the android, Picard looked directly into his eyes. "Status report?" he asked curiously. The change of shifts always brought updates from the previous night's work - even if Picard was going off duty, he consistently briefed whoever was relieving him at that time.

Data
Only one thing had happened and Data considered it of minor note. He knew the captain well by now and knew that even things of minor importance were still of value to the captain. This only made sense, Data decided, because all that can be known about a certain situation can add up until everything together forms a kind of picture. It was hard to describe without using an analogy.
"At O Five hundred and 56 minutes transporter room 3 reported a minor discharge of [some kind of particle] which overloaded the [something] array. Anything transported from that room would fail to rematerialize properly. Do damage was reported as the problem was noticed by commander Barkclay (I forgot what happened to him let's just say he's on the ship in our RPG). The transporters will be offline for approximately another 29 minutes, sir" Data reported.

Picard
The captain of the Enterprise listened closely to Mr. Data's report, reading some information from a hand held PDA at the same time. "Here's hoping we have no need for the transporter, then... we'll be flying everyone in a shuttle for a while."
He nodded to Data. "Thank you, Mr. Data." Walking over to the center command chair, he sat down and hit a button.
"Captain's Log, Stardate 2365.86. Enterprise continues it's mission in mapping the Beta Quadrant. We are proceeding at Warp 2 towards Omocron IV for a standard evaluation survey of the planet and it's potential for colonization." He punched another button, shutting off the log as he pulled up the individual department reports and evaluation, reviewing them.

Data took his seat at the left console which was his usual station. He heard the captain's log and noticed that their destination's name sounded similar to his home planet's name. The information he had in his database suggested that the name would be the only similarity to Omicron Theta. The Crystalline Entity had seen to that. Data's emotion chip produced brief but mild sadness at the thought of all the destruction and lives lost due to the Entity. His face displayed a slight frown and then the thought passed and resumed his usual nondescript expression.
