Jessie was in her room packing. Her boyfriend had just dumped her and her friends wanted to take her hiking to try and cheer her up. Don't know how much fun I'll be? Jessie thought as she continued the threw clothes into a suitcase. She heard a knock at her door. She'd been expecting them to come pick her up. "Yeah come in!" Jessie called from her bedroom.

Carly walked in and smiled at Jessie. "Hey. You nearly packed?" Carly asked placing her arms around her friend. Letting go, Carly looked at the suitcase and then back to Jessie. "Im glad you are coming." Carly said, a big grin formed on her lips, her brown hair was once again in a ponytail, yet a few strands danced in front of her dark eyes.
"Need any help?"

Chris was driving to the meeting. The hot air in the car made his head spin and the music blaring from the radio made him wish he was back home. But this meeting was important so he could not skip out on it.

Winding down his window, Chris let the cold air blast onto his hot body and he gasped in relief at getting cooler. He looked around quickly and saw no cars and no people and he was glad. This would be a smooth trip

Jessie smiled when she saw Carly come in. "Hey Carly." Jessie said as she put an arm around her friend. "Yeah I'm almost ready." Jessie said. She turned to Carly. "You sure you really want me to come. I mean how much fun can I be. I just got dumped." Jessie said. "Where's Scott?" Jessie asked, noticing he wasn't around.

"Of course we want you to come Jessie! We are not going on this trip without you. And dont worry. I still think you will be fun despite being dumped. You love hiking right?" she asked, rasing her eyes and she kept smiling. "Scotts probably waiting in the car" Carly added taking a glance and seeing he was not there.

She walked to the window and let the sun warm her skin. She closed her eyes and then reopened them. It would be a fun trip and she would make sure of it

Jessie sighed. "If you say so Carly." Jessie said. She closed her suitcase and picked it up off her bed. "Yeah you're probably right." Jessie said, about Scott still being in the car. Jessie walked up to Carly at the window. "So you ready to go?" Jessie asked.

He was outside just not in the car as the girls had thought. Scott was attempting to work out wedding plans in his head, but he kept getting sick and having to stop. Everything seemed so far over his head. He wondered how Carly dealt with these things. They freaked Scott out big time and he wasn't one to easily scare. He was pretty rough and tumbly. Well he liked to think he was rough and tumbly, but to be quite honest he wasn't sure. He wiped the sweat from his forehead on his forearm. He sighed and fanned himself with his button down short sleeve shirt. It was yellow which he found to be quite comfortable despite the feminine color. He ran his hands through his curly hair pushing it back some. He wanted to propose the idea of just eloping, but knowing his fiancee she'd kill him, hide the body and never speak of him ever again. Just wasn't appealing.

Growing a bit impatient he jerked his head upwards straining to look up. Nothing. Sun blocked out the view. He looked down rubbing his eyes. He put his fingers to his lips and a made a loud whistling noise. He was hoping that might get their attention or something. It was hotter than hell right now and Scott wasn't enjoying the lack of air conditioner.

Hearing the whistle, Carly bounced on her toes. "Come on Jessie. We will have fun!" she smiled and ran down to see Scott standing there. She walked over and kissed him, placing her arms around his neck. "You alright honey?" she asked him, looking into his thoughtful eyes. She grinned like a love sick school girl and she knew it.

She looked to where she had exited the apartment to see if Jessie was there and she saw nothing. "Jessie should be down in a minute" Carly whispered

Jessie carried her suitcase down the stairs and out the door. "Thanks for just leavin' me up there." Jessie said smiling. "So I'm ready. Let's go." Jessie said. She opened the trunk and threw her suitcase in, then slammed it shut. Jessie looked over at her two friends. She was glad they were this happy.

He was looking around when Carly came running out like a crazy woman. He almost fell over when she jumped into him throwing her arms around him. "Ooof." He said getting his barings. He smiled and looked down at her. "Perfect." He said in reponse to her question. He couldn't help, but smile. He was with the perfect woman and one of his best friends. He watched as Jessie slung her stuff into the back. "Aw I could have done that. You took away from my manly tasks." He said wrinkling up his nose. Shaking his head he let go of Carly. "Alright drive we shall. Load in." He said rounding the car and jerking the drivers door open and lowering himself into the seat. He shut the door after he was seated. "Come on I don't got all day girls." He said smiling.

Jessie smiled. Maybe this trip won't be so bad after all. Jessie thought. "Oh we're coming Scott. Just hold your horses." Jessie said, teasing him. She climbed into the backseat of Scott's car. "So where exactly is it we're going guys?" Jessie asked. She knew they were going hiking just not sure where exactly. She sat back in her seat and waited for Carly to climb in.

Carly jumped in and put her seatbelt on. "Its a surprise" Carly giggled and looked at Jessie. She poked her head out of the window and looked at Scott. "Come on babe!" she teased and pulled her head back in.

Jessie rolled down her window. "Yeah Scott get your butt in here so we can go." Jessie yelled, smiling sweetly at him.
