Lana

Lana had just finished another day at school and was finally just getting home to Chloe's where she stayed while going to college.

"Anyone home?" she called out as she entered the place. Things were messed up, placed everywhere around the room. She might as well start to pick up. She put down her bag full of booksand started picking up some stuff off the floor.

Chloe

Chloe was at the library typing furiously up her History paper. She had a lot of information to put into the paper which was supposed to only be 5 to 8 pages long. But of course Chloe was on page ten and still going. She had books splayed out all around the table on certain pages she glanced at every now and then. Her fingers were getting tired but she ignored it, too caught up into what she was doing.

In the Dorm she had flung papers and books everywhere getting her information. Finally she was unable to continue in her and Lana's room so she had to go to the library to find everything else she needed.

Lois Lane

Lois Lane yawned as she flipped through the pages of the latest People Magazine. Things were unusually slow at the Talon that afternoon. She figured the normal crowd was probably busy with school papers. Writing papers was something Lois didn't miss from her short university stint.

Clark

Hoisting a pair of 80 pound feedbacks as if they were pillows, Clark Kent tossed them onto the back of the truck. Dressed in blue jeans, a red t-shirt and his boots, he found the work on the farm took up a lot more time than he previous realized. Dad had done so much around the farm. More than he knew, Clark thought somewhat sadly. He was off playing around at football, school, chasing Lana, bad guys, whatever - but he now felt he missed out on something vital by not being at home more. With his dad. The moments gone made Clark sad, and they were something he could never get back.

Pausing with his head dropped, Clark supported himself on the side of the truck for a moment, trying to get his emotions under control. He sighed softly, finishing his loading and getting in the truck, headed into town.

The hardware store was fairly empty, and Clark found what he needed easily enough. Finances were tough for the family, he knew, so Clark leaned more towards generic brands and away from the 'fancy stuff'. Hence his coffee as of late had been home-made Folgers rather than Talon-brand.

He loaded the truck with his stuff, preparing to head back home again and get back to work...
