Name: Emily Weasley

Age: 15

Looks: Long, straight, shiny blond hair tops her head, contrasting with her celery green eyes. She is short and thin, but not overly skinny. Emily likes to dress in modern, clean lines, and abhors excess jewelry and flair.

Personality: Smart as a whip, Emily is the little go-getter of the family. She is very focused on being the first women’s fashion guru of the wizarding world, but knows, largely due to the influence of her father, uncle, and cousins that she has to have fun every once in a while. She prefers sarcastic wit to goofy humor.

History: Born eight minutes before her identical twin sister, Juliet, Emily grew up in a large house that had a connecting door and shared porch in common with her Uncle Fred’s, and just down the street from the shop. Their life was a rowdy, boisterous one, full of fun and confusion. Magic whizzed about all the time, and when it didn’t, practical jokes did. Suffice it to say their weren’t exactly thought of fondly in the neighborhood, especially considering their magic showed itself in odd ways, like a sudden switch of the sugar and salt in a nearby abode. In fact, all four of the cousins (Ben, Law, Emily, and Juliet) created a secret language all their own that confounded their parents and families. They still occasionally speak in that language, but have grown mostly out of it as they grow older.

Daughter of the mothering Flora, Emily at times felt stifled by her mother. At once longing to break free of her family and fearing the separation, she would often turn to her Aunt Serena for advice. While especially close to her sister, of course, she is also devoted to both of her cousins; Lawson more than Ben.

She and Juliet went to Hogwarts at ten, two years after their older cousins, and at the same time as her cousins Trenton and Spencer. They were both sorted into Ravenclaw, much to the surprise of her family, who had naturally assumed not only that they would be in Gryffindor but that they weren't exactly sharp enough to be Ravenclaws. All of her family has been almost forced to stick together due to their famous last names, but the girls still managed to make friends with a few of the other students; Juliet more than Emily. They are both especially close to Kiley Black, Sirius Black's daughter.. They are now 5th years, thinking themselves very grand indeed.

Emily enjoys transfiguration, divination, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, but can’t stand potions and often goes to her cousin Charlie for help. She occasionally entertains ideas about being an Auror, but had convinced herself her heart is in fashion.

Other: She has had a crush on Xavier Tonks-Lupin for some time now, though he has no idea. Emily, much like her Aunt Hermione, tends to scold those she likes more than she flirts with them.

Looks: Long, kinky, and streaky blond hair adorns her head, complementing her features and celery green eyes. Juliet is short and thin, but not overly skinny. She loves to dress in funky, hippie clothing, lots of bangles and beads, much to the distaste of her sister Emily.

Personality: Juliet is the dreamer, the naïve sweetheart of the family. She tends to think the best of everybody, whether they deserve it or not, and is often taken advantage off. But she really doesn’t mind, always ready to offer a sympathetic ear. Funny in a very oddball way, Juliet often gets on Emily’s nerves, but they’re best friends anyway.

House: Ravenclaw

Parents: Sirius Black. Mother unknown.

Age: 15

Looks: She has her father’s chocolaty eyes and mahogany hair, contrasting sharply with her creamy skin. Tall and dark, Kiley is a generously curvy girl. She prefers to dress in a modern punk style, unlike her friends Emily and Juliet.

Personality: Smarmy and wise, Kiley is the least talkative of the three friends. However, that’s not to say she is unfriendly. She is more connected to students than the other kids, and also knows all of the faculty very well, largely due to her father, Sirius, and godfather Remus being on the staff. Jovial and kind, Kiley has a kind word for everyone, even when she coats it in sarcasm.

History: Kiley grew up at Hogwarts during the school year, and at 12 Grimmauld Place in London during the summers and holidays. As he father and godparents often went across town to the Weasley abodes, she has been very close with Emily, Juliet, Ben and Lawson since she was a baby. And at the tender age of five fell into a case of hardcore puppy love with Ben that she has never quite grown out of. She is also very good friends with her godparents adopted son Xavier.

One major discord in Kiley’s life has always been her father’s refusal to tell her who her mother is. All he will tell her is that she takes after her mother when it comes to looks, but not at all in temperament. That has never been enough for her, and she devotes a lot of her private time imagining what her mother must be like.

When she was ten, she was finally allowed to officially join the ranks of students at Hogwarts, though she and Xavier had been sneaking into classes since they were old enough to talk; she had also been extremely jealous of Xavier when he was allowed to go to classes two years before her. Sharp as a tack, she was sorted into Ravenclaw, and lives in a dorm room with Emily and Juliet. Extremely good at all of her subjects, she devotes little to no time to studying, preferring to work on the Defense Against the Dark Arts club she started with Xavier, much in the spirit of Dumbledore’s Army, the club Harry, Ron, and Hermione began.

Other: Kiley still has a crush on Ben that has grown by leaps and bounds as they spend more time together. She is reluctant to act on it however, for two very large reasons: she doesn’t believe he likes her, and she knows that Lawson does.

Name: Samuel Ackerman

House: Ravenclaw

Parents: Franklin and Joyce Ackerman (father deceased)

Age: 17

Looks: Sam has short, dark brown hair the exact same shade as his rich brown eyes. He’s of average height and build, and dresses in a clean, modern style.

Personality: Funny and smart, Sam has a rather cocky attitude about life. He’s the ultimate guy’s guy; give him a woman, Quidditch, and his boys, and he’s good to go. But Sam also has his sensitive, more mature side, which he only brings out in private.

History: Born the oldest of four boys to a wizarding family in a little farming community in England, Sam and his brothers ran their mother ragged. They were a wild bunch, and the addition of magic only boosted their ability to wreak havoc on the countryside. They did everything, from turning live chickens into weathervanes, to having the cows give chocolate milk, to making the pigs really fly. Poor Joyce, though she loved them all dearly, had a hard time controlling them, especially after Samuel’s father died during the Wizarding Wars when Sam was five; his youngest brother was only a few months old. It was a hard blow for little Sammie, and he tried to become the man of the family, always feeling like he couldn’t live up to his father’s memory. For the rest of his time at home, Sam played a delicate game of moving between the adult and the kid who still goofed around with his brothers.

At ten, he went to Hogwarts, and was sorted into Ravenclaw house, largely due not only to his intelligence but the fact he was older than his years. He quickly became a favorite among the students and staff, and enjoyed a bit guiltily the feeling that he could just be a kid for a while. Still, he did well in most of his classes, though he just couldn’t and still can’t get the hang of Magical Creatures or Herbology. Sam also became a beater on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team and is the male prefect of Ravenclaw House.

Other: Both Juliet Weasley and his fellow Ravenclaw prefect Sorina Krum have a crush on Sam, and he’s well aware of it. One part of him delights in the tug of war, while the other is rather tired of feeling like a piece of meat.

Looks: With the delicate Japanese features of her mother and her father’s powerfully athletic build, Sorina is a sight to behold. She prefers to tie her hair messily back from her face, but when let down it hangs in a shiny black curtain to her waist. Sorina dresses in a colorful, heavily Asian-influenced style.

Personality: Vibrant, funny, and smart, Sorina is much like her mother. Her sarcastic wit and cynical outlook on life is sometimes off-putting, which is something she’s constantly trying to rein in. Deep down, Sorina has very low self-esteem and points out flaws in others because, compared to her own flaws, they seem so insignificant; she simply doesn’t understand that it could hurt their feelings.

History: Sorina is the daughter of Viktor Krum and Cho Chang. Her parents were forced to marry after Cho accidentally got pregnant with Sorina, so their marriage was rocky at the start, and has not smoothed out much since then. Viktor, being the Quidditch sensation that he is, was gone often in her childhood, leaving her mother, her little brother Chiro, and Sorina to form a solid family unit without him. They spent most of the year at a large estate outside London, where they could race broomsticks, practice magic, and live their lives in peace. Their summers were spent at a Romanian chateau; it was really the only time Viktor joined them and was able to relax in their company. Sorina cherished the summertimes she spent with her father, but was also realistic enough to know that summers alone will not suffice for months spent away. She learned not to get too attached; unfortunately, Chiro never learned that lessons, and Sorina spent months after returning to London trying to cheer up her little brother.

Sorina is extremely close to her mother, Cho. They have very similar personalities and taste in movies, clothing, books… all of the important things. She also has a deep connection with her little brother, almost on a psychic level; with a single look, one can tell what the other is thinking.

At ten, Sorina tearfully left her mother and brother and went to Hogwarts. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, not unexpectedly, but did not exactly flourish there, largely due to her lack of people skills and the dark, sarcastic humor she gets from her father. Feeling very alone until Chiro joined her in Ravenclaw house two years later, Sorina devoted herself to her studies, and became the best student in her year. She also became the Ravenclaw Seeker, due to her own abilities and not her father’s last name. Sorina is now a Ravenclaw Prefect, along with Samuel Ackerman.

Other: She has had a crush on Sam since they met before Sorting as first-years. And. regrettably, he knows she likes him, making things uncomfortable all the way around, as Sorina has no real idea about how to show her feelings. She is also aware that Juliet Weasley likes Sam, and has no wish to cross one of the Weasley-Potter-Lupin-Black family unit. Plus, she simply thinks Juliet is a good person, while she thinks that she herself is not; therefore, Sam should pick Juliet over her.
