Name: Frank Neville Longbottom

House: Hufflepuff

Parents: Luna Lovegood-Longbottom and Neville Longbottom

Age: 17

Looks: Frank has the big eyes and pale skin of his mother matched with the warm brown hair and eyes of his father. He is shorter than a lot of his classmates and a bit chubby, but cute.

Personality: Affable, forgetful, and apt to talk about the oddest things, Frank is an amusing mix of his parents. He gets along well with everyone, except the Slytherins, mainly because he’s simply nice. Frank also is very loving and protective of his family.

History: The oldest child of Neville and Luna, he was named for Neville’s father. Growing up in London at the end of and after the Wizarding Wars, Frank, his little sister Belinda, and his parents were and are very close. Largely because of the teasing and censure they were put through in their own lives, Neville and Luna worked to make sure that their family unit was tight and secure. They also raised their children to be accepting and tolerant of everyone, and to stand up for what is right.

Friends with the Weasley, Potter, Black, and Tonks-Lupin families, the Longbottoms are considered to be just another branch of the large family tree. Frank often spent time at the Weasley shop, messing about with the toys and hanging out with Ben, Law, and Xavier while Belinda played dolls or whatever it is girls do with Emily, Juliet, and Kiley.

When he was ten, Frank went to Hogwarts and, much to the surprise of his family, was sorted into Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor. At first he felt rather odd about this, as if it meant he wasn’t good enough to be in Gryffindor, but the more he learned about Hufflepuff house and it’s history, the more he realized he was in the right place. At first, he endured a lot of teasing from the Slytherin students, but once they realized that he wouldn’t put up with it and neither would the Potter-Weasley brood, they backed off.

He takes after his father in his endless ability to memorize plants and their uses, and therefore is very strong in Herbology; also, largely due to the fact that both his parents are Aurors, Frank is extremely good in Defense Against the Dark Arts. In the rest of his subjects, well, he tries his best. Frank is also the Hufflepuff prefect, something that his father is always bragging about.

Looks: Belinda has the soft, shiny, platinum blond hair of her mother, and vibrant turquoise eyes that are all her own. Athletically built but still a bit curvy, she is pretty, fresh, and young.

Personality: Sweet and friendly, Belinda is often thought of as the “little sister,” even by people of no relation to her. She is very innocent and gullible, but also strangely wise, often saying just what a person needs to hear when they need to hear it.

History: The youngest child of Neville and Luna, her middle name is that of Neville’s mother. Growing up in London at the end of and after the Wizarding Wars, Belinda, her older brother Frank, and her parents were and are very close. Largely because of the teasing and censure they were put through in their own lives, Neville and Luna worked to make sure that their family unit was tight and secure. They also raised their children to be accepting and tolerant of everyone, and to stand up for what is right.

She quickly took to Divination when it was offered in her third year and has proved to be exceptionally apt in the subject. Both Firenze and Professor Trelawny hail her as one of their best and brightest students. Like Neville and Frank, she is strong in the subject of Herbology, also, and capable of performing well in Defense Against the Dark Arts. She is abysmal at the rest of her subjects but always tries her best no matter what.
