Selene

Selene smiled. "Michael, having trouble with those pants or something? We need to get going, we've got to get some supplies. I know I can walk in daylight and all but it feels strange, like I'm going to burn up at any second so until I really get used to it, I'd rather not..... if you wouldn't mind...."

Marcus Palace

Lysette

Lysette walked the halls and into the main room of the palace where Marcus lived.

"Lord Marcus?" she whispered. "I... I have everything you wished ready for you, all the tools and.. the food for the guests is ready and the girl too," she said, pointing to the human girl, Angel.

Giselle

Giselle glided into the room, her bloody, long, flowy dress along with her. Her danging earrings swawing and making cling-clang noises.

"Where is Marcus?"

Adam

Adam, still in shock over the sight of seeing his intern in such rough shape after Michael’s meeting with Lucian (during the events of Underworld), looked into every dark alley on his way to work. While not used to fearing for his life, Adam was still adjusting to what he felt was a necessary precaution. It had taken him some time to feel comfortable walking the streets at night, whether he had to work the night shift or not.

It had been some time since Adam had last seen Michael at all. He knew he shouldn’t really be wasting time he could be working looking for him, but Adam couldn’t resist. His curious side was beginning to get the better of him.

His thoughts drifted back to that night, so long ago. What could possibly have caused those marks? I know Michael said that he’d be attacked by a man, but what kind of man would leave marks like that? What is the connection I am missing here? Are there really men out there willing to take chunks out of their fellow man?

Adam arrived in the ER, just in time to assist the other doctors in what appeared to be a gang-style shooting. It's going to be a long night...

Lucian

Lucian awoke, the light in room almost too bright for him to see. He looked around, not recognizing the room he was in. That’s when the pain set in. Searing, horrible pain. What the hell? What is going on? Lucian closed his eyes.

Some time later, Lucian awoke again, this time on a cot. He lifted his head slowly, turned and puked. The pain in his head was even worse than it was before. His body either felt numb or tremendous pain. He couldn’t really make out which. He could, however, see that he was back in his own room. How is it that I am alive? Kraven shot me in the back. I should be dead. I think I am dead. But, then, how did I get here? Pain shot through his skull. Later. All in good time. For now, more rest is required.

Michael

Rolling his eyes, Michael shook his head, fiddling with the button fly of his jeans. "If you let me get them on this time, I won't have a problem..." He gave her a smile, only playing with her. Their blossoming relationship had proven her not only to be his teacher in this new unlife, but his lover as well. He knew that time meant experience, but Selene had centuries to perfect her style. And she did it so well...

He grabbed his wallet off the nightstand and stuffed it in his back pocket. "All right... I'll be back in a few, I guess..." he said softly.

Selene

"Do you think Marcus with be after us?" she asked Michael as they treked out of a cave in the Canadian mountains and through the trees to get to the near lodging where there was a store that was open till midnight. She glanced at her watch. 10.00 They had two hours to get this mission done and get back before she felt like she was being burnt alive. Sure, she wouldn't be but it never failed to feel that way. Probably they shouldn't have spent the last three hours in bed making love. But, what else are they going to do up there, twindle their thumbs all day?

Marcus Palace

Lysette

Lysette walked the halls and into the main room of the palace where Marcus lived.

"Lord Marcus?" she whispered. "I... I have everything you wished ready for you, all the tools and.. the food for the guests is ready and the girl too," she said, pointing to the human girl, Angel.

Angel listend to what was being said, with a sigh she nodded a little and closed her eyes, all mortals saw her as a traitor because of who she loved a soft melody escaped Angels lips as a song she was making up took over the silence, she ran her hand down her hair...

Tanis

It had been centuries since Tanis had seen a Vampire, other than the ones he created for his own tastes. He liked it that way. In fact, if he ever saw one again, it would be too soon. Despite being one himself, he had no love for any one of them, except for maybe Selene, whom he knew was only doing her job. He didn’t honestly expect to ever hear from her again, until she showed up at his door, bringing the war right to his doorstep. He was still recovering from the severe beating Marcus had given him.

His first meeting with Lucian was the first outside contact that Tanis had since he banishment. Lucian had been a more than willing trading partner, and Tanis enjoyed not only the business side of his visits, but he also enjoyed whatever new artifact or assistant Lucian would bring with him. Lucian had given him four Lycans to guard his little “palace”. Lucian had also brought him human females from time to time for him to either eat or change to make willing sex slaves. Tanis especially enjoyed them.

Too much time had passed since Lucian’s last visit. What could be keeping him? Tanis hated not being in the center of information flow. It left him far too much free time to develop weaponry, but it also left him alone with his thoughts.

He returned to work on his latest device, an artificial UV-light bomb, made from many of the same materials as those used in his UV bullets. Busy work, must keep busy…

Amelia

The blood from a fallen vampire trickled down the blood stained carpet of the train car. The blood made it's run down the car a little ways to Amelia was lying dead on the floor. Her face was on it's side, her cold red lips open, still in the shock of the surprise of the lycan attack. The blood rushed through her lips, going down through her system. The blood started her heart beat again, her eyes opened. With a moan, she slowly sit up, her hands flung to her head, feeling her Queen Crown going off a little awkward. She slowly stood, using her hands.

She looked around the train car. A bunch of vampire corpses lay there, blood stained their bodies and the floor. Suddenly the memory of what happened came flashing back to her. She had just arrived in America, for the awakining of Markus. Kraven's men were at the train platform, waiting for them. They had flashed their lights. She about to get off the train when she heard a lycan, a second later they attacked, she was killed, and Kraven's men did nothing to stop it.

Why she wondered had they done nothing. Then a chilling thought raced through her head, was Kraven trying to destroy the coven and take control? Knowing his history, she wouldn't be surprised. She never trusted him. She knew she had to secretly get to the mansion, and find out what Kraven was up to. If he was up to evils, then she knew she would have to flee and go back to her coven for help. She wouldn't go before knowing for sure what Kraven's position was.

She looked down at her black gold trimmed dress, sweeping her hand over it, smoothing it out. She felt beneath her skirt to make sure she still had her gun in a holster on her thighs. She breathed a sigh of relief, she may need it if Kraven is out to take control. Before she could leave, she had to check to see if there were any survivors. She carefully began to walk around the car, checking each body she passed while listening carefully to any sound that may warn her of friend or foe.

Raze

Raze awoke in a daze. Looking around, he realized that did not recognize where he was. The style of the room was not unfamiliar; however, the surroundings were not at all familiar to him. It looked like safehouse, but not any that he remembered Lucian ever showing him. Where the bloody hell am I?

Realizing he was bound to the wall, it finally dawned on him where he was. This has to be a Vampire safehouse. Taking a good look at the bindings, he laughed. They think they can keep me like this? They honestly believe these will hold me? He changed into Werewolf form quickly. He pulled first one arm, then the other, breaking the bonds on his arms. He then reached down and ripped his legs free. No bond can keep me down.

He looked around for anything useful. He ripped open a cabinet that contained some guns. New toys. Time to test them out. He converted back to human form, blasting his way out into the night air.

Priya

Priya sat in the dark corner of Lucian's room her eyes constantly on her master. Silently, she watched the simple rise and fall of his chest. It was a miracle that he was alive...and Priya wanted to make sure that that miracle held. After all that just happened around her it was amazing that she was alive. Her fighting skills were a little rusty, she was more for the sitting and watching than the fighting. But she would rise to aid her master always. She had since the beginning. Since she first became a lycan.

When Lucian jumped out of his sleep and threw up, Priya jumped from her seat. She reached for a pitcher and poured the lycan leader a glass of water. She sat down on his bed and offered him with glass with a warm smile.

"Welcome back to life." She replied.

Michael

"I think Marcus and any other of your old coven feel they have a score to settle. Though after lopping off half his head, I'm surprised he'd even consider coming after you." Michael looked over to her with admiration, and more than a little desire. His hybrid form took the best of both worlds - the endurance and longevity of a vampire, and the animalistic passion of a lycan in one. Hence all of his senses were constantly on overload. He felt a desire inside him to simply tear the skin-tight leather suit off her once again, but pushed it back down for more... normal pursuits.

darkprincess - March 10, 2006 05:28 PM (GMT)
Jay - previously...

Jay had been stuck in the tunnels, looking for Cate for sometime, before he returned to the mansion. He had been looking around for her and she had already gotten back to the mansion.

When he had finally found her, he had pulled her into his arms so tightly, he had thought he might break her. Throughout his search, he had thought she had been killed. He remembered seeing her briefly in all of the fighting and at the point he saw her she was head to head with one of the lycans. That had been the last he had seen before he had had to move on and clear the next area. So, while he searched for her afterwards, all he could think of was that she could be dead...

Cate - previously

Cate had quickly left all of the fighting in the tunnels when she had been jumped on by one of the lycans. She had been sat on her bed, shaking violently for quite some time, remembering the glint in the lycan's eyes as he went to take her throat out. When he had stopped, looked her straight in the eyes and then bolted, Cate had almost completely freaked out. She knew those eyes. Why did she know those eyes?

That's all that had gone through her head, up until the point Jay had come back into the mansion. When he had pulled her into his arms, she felt instantly safe again. She knew the lycan must be dead, it wasn't often Jay let any lycan live in his prescence. Surely, he had encountered it and killed it...

Jay and Cate - now (joint)

Jay and Cate had quickly left Kraven's mansion the second they heard the whisperings about the attack on Amelia. They were in her coven and felt it necessary that they attended to the matter. Kraven had not wished for anyone to leave, both of them had sensed this, but he couldn't stop them as they jumped out of their room window and then just ran.

By the sounds of things, the attack had been horrendous. This had compelled Jay and Cate to run faster. They had to see if Amelia was alive. The attack also sounded like what they were running to would simply be described as a blood bath. The lycans has taken them by surprised and had blocked them in and slaughtered them all.

Kraven's men had betrayed Amelia. This meant Kraven was up to something, but neither Jay nor Cate could figure out what it could possibly be. They didn't ponder over the possibilities as they didn't have the time and with Kraven, the possibilities were absolutely endless. He had always been looking to get that little bit further in the coven, but this was taking it too far. As they had left, Jay had sworn to kill Kraven if Amelia was truely dead.

Jay and Cate saw the train was in a short sprint range, so took the opportunity, their coats billowing out behind them, their boots clomping loudly. They had really thrown caution to the wind. They had to get to Amelia. No lycans would stop them.

Jay had his shotgun strapped to the side of his right thigh, within his arms reach. He may not have been able to have silver shells within the gun, but the blast did enough damage for his liking. Cate had her two, large handguns in their holsters on her hips. She had loaded them with the new silver nitrate clips, a suply of which she had hidden in the various compartments of her coat.

As they got to the train, they slowed slightly, running up inside. Jay quickly pulled his shotgun from it's straps, fitting it comfortably into his hands and loading it promptly, ready to take a shot at any lycan that remained. Cate also quickly drew her guns, loading them, ready for the auto reload if she had to take any shots at anything.

They both looked up and down the train, checking the compartment they were in. Upon closer inspection, they looked up through the number of opens doors from the compartment they were in and they saw Amelia.

"She's alive," Jay sighed as he and Cate moved towards her. They knelt quickly in her prescence and then stood. They both looked her up and down. She looked a little worse for wear.

TAG - Amelia

Chris

Chris had returned to the lycan hideout as soon as the fighting had died down. He had to get away. He had wanted to get away early, but he had been forced to keep fighting.

...he had seen her...he had jumped on her...he had almost ripped out her throat...

Chris had gotten to the hideout to find it almost completely empty. There were only a few other lycans there, all of which were injured quite badly. Chris scowled heavily as he moved into a darkened space away from the others. He had to think. He had to get her out of his head.

He sat down, resting his head in his battered and bloody hands and began to think. His legs were killing him, he had been running and fighting for ages. Lucky for him, none of the vampires had gotten in a shot at him. His ribs stung from where he had been kicked by her. She really gave him a good beating. He knew she would have shot at him, had he not knocked her guns from her hands.

Shalin "Talen"

Shalin was out and about just watching the humans pass by in a rush or not at all thinking their problems were the worst. They say ignorance is bliss and Talen found it to be quite true. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like in the human world if they learned of the Underworld, that the very creatures they write about to scare children or each other were very real. That these creatures had exsisted for centuries to thousands of years. Talen already knew what it would be like, the Salem Witch Trials came to mind, and she shuddered at the thought. So many innocent lives were lost, some not but most were people that had nothing to do with scorcery. If this were to happen again many humans would die because people thought they were vampires or werewolves. Civil wars and unneeded bloodshed would occur. Sure it would be a nice dinner platter for the Vampires and Lycans but the blanace of it all would tip and anything could happen. Talen was glad she couldnt see the future, ignorance was truly a gift though once in a while seeing the future would come in handy.

Marcus

A pair of icy blue eyes flashing in the middle of a pitch dark room, they seemed to glow as a small lamp light flickered on and off, the beam of light shining right in his eyes. But he didn't flinch at all and only responded by flexing his long wings, stretching as he got on to his feet, the heavy heal of his boots striking hard against the floor as his robe adorned his body and fell down right behind him, contrasting his sharp, cold movements with grace. Sensing someone coming to his door, he moved to the window, hearing the pitter-patter of the drops of water hitting against the glass. "Very well Lysette," he said without turning towards her. "Now get yourself ready. We have alot to do before the night is over."

Hearing the cling-clang noises of Giselle's earrings, he couldn't help but chuckle once to himself, slightly amused but less than usual because of all the thoughts running full-speed ahead in his mind. William... he wanted to free William. To do that, however, he would have to kill Michael, or rather he wanted to, and then get the key to release him. What a sight it would be then to have his brother around. They had always been very close, and after the confinement, he couldn't help but feel guilty that he was now free and his brother was still trapped because of Viktor's orders. Oh, but Viktor was gone now and he had stepped up to the throne. It was amusing that the deceived, Selene, had actually found the strength to go up against Viktor, the deceiver. Amusing, indeed. Remarkable, not exactly. He knew that Viktor had made a mistake the moment that he made that petty dark haired girl an immortal, for she was just that at the time and still was. She had killed him without thinking ahead and just acting on her emotions. She had acted on instinct like the Lycans, and yet she claimed that she was completely against them. A loyal subject of the aristrocratic ways of the vampires. Heh.

The moonlight shone in through the window and lit up the room a bit more, as he pulled aside the curtains. Sometimes he unconsciously made the room as dark as it could be on purpose, trying to feel a connection with what his brother was going through by letting the darkness swallow him whole, but it never succeeded. He didn't turn to check on Angel, or to greet Giselle, since although he had accepted her as his childe, he didn't like endulging in small talk with her or poking at her pride and making it swell too often. She wasn't the type to boast too much, from what he had understood from the while that had passed since he had been awakened, but she had a Jekyll and Hyde personality. Some called it bittersweet, but he just called it Giselle. As long as she didn't get in his way, he didn't mind keeping her around.

Angelique
Tag- Kraven

A breath escaped the lips of the vampiress sleeping in the darkness of her coffin. Her eyes opened slowly, her tongue rolling over her fangs, which always find a way to slip out of her gums while she slept. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness within seconds. Her eyes traced the lines of the wood that her coffin was made out of. Angelique reached out a hand, pushing the lid off of her. The darkness of her room welcomed her. A sigh came forth from her lips as she smiled. A new night! Excitement rose within her just as her hunger peeked. Her head rolled, a popping noise coming from her neck.

Her body felt suddenly rejuvenated and ready to feed. Her smile was large as she jumped to her balcony window and, throwing a quick glance at her mirror to make sure she looked fine. Of course. Angelique smiled, her fangs throbbing with want, with her hunger. Just as her stomach nawed with the hunger, she had jumped from the window, ready to prowl the night.

~*~

Less than an hour later, Angelique entered the coven's large doors, wiping her blood covered chin with the back of her hand. Angelique's hair, usually in a long braid that ran down the very middle of her back, was hanging loosely about her face, a honey blonde curtain of silk. Her shocking blue eyes pierced all of those who dared look at her with nothing but admiration. She swept across the floor, the other vampires just glancing at her flowing black dress. Suddenly, a whisper unlike those the other vampires were speaking, came to Angelique's ears.

Kraven was were? She stopped and turned to the teenage vampiress talking. Taking two steps, she almost glided across the floor toward the girl. Instantly, the moment Angelique's face came within inches of hers, the girl was silent.

"What did you say?" Angelique's clear, smooth voice whispered. The girl stared at Angelique for a moment, stunned, but not scared. It took the girl a moment to find her words. But finally she spoke. And her words pleased Angelique. They had the human... in the coven walls. She smiled a sly smile and swept from the room.

Instantly she made her way to the throne room. Without a hesitation, Angelique threw the doors open, a powerful stride overtook her walk. She walked to the middle of the room and smiled.

"Hello Kraven"

Aki walked along the dark road of a town. Cursing the damp weather and sighed. "For once, I would like to make a quick get away without having to slip on something muddy and dirty up my 'findings'." she said as she grumbled and glared at the sky. "The gods must hate me so."

Returning to an inn, Aki dropped her 'bag of treats' and smiled. Removing the long coat, she pinned up her hair and walked over to the table. "Let's see what we have hear." smiling, she was about to open the bag till the sound of the door openning alerted her and she quickly turned towards the intruder with a gun in hand.

Another entered the room, smiling as she walked in. Lily screamed when the sight of a gun was aimmed at her after shutting the door. "Jesus, Aki! I swear you are going to send me to my early grave if you don't stop appearing like that." she said as she pouted and stomped over to the counter. Placing some items and gorceries upon them and looking at the theif. "You know, you could calm down a little. I mean no one knows what you do and with your refelxes, I'm pretty sure you can outwit the cops." she said as she watched the theif roll her eyes and walk to the balcony.

"Whatever, I'm good, but I'm not that good. Besides, I would rather keep under the rader of lycans. I hear they are around here. So its better if I stay out of a fray with them if possible. Besides, with you around, you'll probably end up dead"

"You are talking to someone who knows how to defend herself, besides, I am the one who does supply you with a bit of some nasty arsenal, am I right?" Lily said with a smirk.

"Don't get too cocky. Though your guns do help, it does take a while to *one* lycan down. Or have you forgotten how much one of those things can take.

Lily pouted and stuck out her tongue. Placing the items in their places and walked over to the bed. "So, how were the pickings? Looks like you had fun.

Aki nodded. "Its good. Good enough to get us more arms if we need it. Anyway, we're leaving this place. I'm going to 'depost' so that we have cash later on."

Lily nodded and began to pack the few things that they had. Being wonders, they don't stay too long in one place. Aki took her 'findings' and waved. "Meet you later. Don't get nosy and find yourself in a place where you don't want to be and try not to make any trouble."

Lilly nodded and saluted as Aki left. "She knows me so well.

Amelia

Amelia felt her dead heart beat faster as she heard approaching footsteps. She raised her gun and pointed forward, ready to shoot any liken, Kraven, or any other treacherous vampire that had come to make sure she was dead. She put her hand on the trigger, tensing, ready to make the shot.

Suddenly she saw two familar vampires, vampires of her own coven, Jay and Cate moving forward. She was relieved. to know that she was not the only survivor. She was beginning to think she was on her own to deal with Kraven and that was no small thing. It was comforting to know that two of her coven were still around, that she was not alone.

She lowered her gun, and stepped forward towards the pair. She watched as they got to their knees and bowed before her, showing her respect. She gave them a nod and they rose. She looked from Jay to Cate and stepped foward, standing in front of them. "I suppose you have figured out by now that Kraven has betrayed us. Have you found out anything such as his intentions or next move?" she asked, looking at them curiously, her eyes full of intensity.

If she could know at least that, she would be able to plan her next move. If he were out of the mansion, she could be able to sneak in and maybe get some information out of a weaker subject of Kraven who had betrayed their covens. All she could hope for is that Markus and Viktor had not been killed by Kraven during their slumber.

Jay and Cate (joint)

Both Jay and Cate lowered their guns, but didn't return them to their places. There could still be lycans around. They could put nothing to chance.

Jay and Cate looked at one another and then Cate answered. "Kraven was pretty adamant that we didn't leave the mansion. Then we heard about...well...this..." Cate spread her arms to refer to all of the vampire mess. "Other than that..." Cate shook her head. She felt like she should know more. She hung her head slightly.

Jay looked at Cate as she hung her head and then he turned to Amelia again. "I don't think he was still in the mansion when we left though. We got out too easily. I mean, he had fair shouted when we requested to be on the team to come and find you and then when we had asked to leave, he had been a lot more angry...I believe he'd gone by the time we got out..."

Cate raised her head quickly, remembering something Amelia could not know. "Viktor's awake. Something happened and he was woken up...Selene. She did it." Cate swallowed, slightly nervously. "That was something to do with Kraven, I believe." Cate scowled and hung her head again. She then turned to Jay. "We should've realised then..."

Anika knew Lucian hadnt died from the bullet she could feel it. Anika wasnt surprised by this Lucian was strong one reason why she had stuck around so long with him. Anika snorted she had excaped the battle with only a few scratches she was use to fighting in fact she thrived off of it. Anika glanced at her arm that was almost healed. She forced her attention back on her task. I will find him then see what task he wishes for me to do and if I dont like it I can leve the way I came to him. Anika slunk into the direction of a base that Lucian used some times. The trail she had been following ended here and she could tell Priya was with him. She should have known Priya was with him she was always by his side. I she would have relized this sooner she would have all ready found them Priya would take him where he would be safe untill he healed. Anika moved into the building headed in the direction she knew to be his quarters she had been there once or twice before geting her missions. Anika paused out side the closed the door and snift her nose curled as the sent of vomit hit her nose. She snorted she didnt bother to knock but she forced the door open her eyes narrowing. "So it looks like my tracking skills are still in tune." Her voice was a deep growl

Amelia

Amelia listened as Cate, and then Jay speak about what was happening at the mansion, what Kraven was up to. While there was not any solid information that could really give her a clue or an answer to anything that had happened, it at least was a step in the right direction. They at least knew a little information that she could start to work with.

"Well then we can head back to the mansion, look around, see if we can find anything, find out about Viktor and Marcus" she replied. "And then we can wait for Kraven and give him a surprise. Then we will be able to get some answers" she continued. She was given renewed hope when Cate suddenly remembered that Selene had awakened Viktor. While she realized that it was not time to for Viktor to reign, desperate times calls for desperate measures.

With Viktor awake, Amelia was almost certain that with his help, they would be able to put an end to Kraven's treachery. Viktor would finally see the light about Kraven, a vampire she never really trusted or liked.
Good, then hopefully we can hook up with him and those who have remained loyal to our coven" she replied. "Alright, let's start heading back towards the mansion, keeps your guns ready to shoot in case we run into any likens hiding in the dark" she ordered as she carefully lead the way off the train car, her gun raised and poised to shoot.

She carefully disembarked from the train onto the train platform. She looked all around, surveying the area, looking for any liken, or for Kraven and his men. After she was sure the area was secure, she looked back to Cate and Jay. "What was your transportation here?" she asked, hoping they had taken a car. she was in no mood to walk and not to mention having no time to walk.

William

He was free and yet he didn't remember the true meaning of the word. It had become an unknown concept, much like family and fun. He only remembered war and that dark crimson substance that had been splotched against his fur as he had struggled against the small, restraining space that he had in his confinement. He had been in there so long that he didn't remember what time was anymore either. It all blended into the background of the bigger picture: he wanted to kill again. He wanted to feel that deep, rich substance sliding down his throat and warming his body which had now become ruthless and cold... so cold. Feeling the damp soil beneath his feet, he remembered that he was for all intents and purposes, an animal. There would be no tears sliding down his cheek if he trampled someone in his way to becoming stronger and satisfying his hunger for the warmth and taste of flesh and blood. There would be no guilt. There would be no feeling other than a warm heart beating in the palm of his hand as the corpses feel on to their knees, lost the power to live, and then collapsed into a puddle of their own blood and drowned in it. Like an animal, there would be no remorse.

Kraven

The sound of his heavy breathing descended from his mouth in slow doses. His blue eyes glancing around with his fangs glistening slightly, smudges of blood tainting them after he bit his lip while watching the struggle between Viktor, Michael, and Selene, he recounted descending from behind the columns just in time to watch the fallen heros walking away, that pathetic hybrid following Selene like a wet dog. He still couldn't figure out what she found in him, for he had been the bearer of the truth which she desired. He had been keeping his secrets and perhaps it was because of that why she turned away from him in the end and declined his offer, but he didn't regret his actions.

He also recalled a group of his men watching with perplexed and waiting expressions spread across their faces, as he stood before them with his jet black hair slightly disorderly and his blue eyes narrowed in that look of disdain that he had about him. Something would have to be done. Walking over to the decapitated Viktor, his eyes glazed and half-open, he remembered sneering down at the former coven leader. "Oh how the mighty fall... You wanted my head and the hybrid's, but she was after yours instead. Wonder what gave her the impression that you had done something to deserve it..." he muttered silently to himself, a very bitter tone invoked in his words. His words left his mouth but not further than the proximity between him and the now motionless Viktor. His men continued to stand around, glancing at each other, their weapons always ready as their leader spoke silently to the fallen Elder. They had no choice now but to wait for his orders, for the awakening of Marcus hadn't yet crossed their minds.

But Kraven knew and he knew well. And that was why he knew that he had to return to the Mansion and he did. He had been on his way, while still riding in an aristocratic manner in a sleek black car driven by one of his men, one of the ignorant soldiers of his nearly fatal and foiled plan. Now he was leaning back against the cold crimson tainted walls as blood seeped through his battle wounds. He was resting his aching head in the darkness. Marcus hadn't located him yet. He had probably been too busy planning for a party of some sort and resting himself. The truth was that Kraven believed that Marcus hadn't sensed his presence there already, but that could have been entirely untrue; a false assumption. Only time could tell.

Then someone strode into the throne room like they owned the bloody place. He could see their smile in the darkness and he sucked in a bit of air as he was discovered by someone. Someone who knew his name. Oh yes, that must've been it. His men had been scouting the outside of the place beforehand and someone must've peeked out through the window long enough to catch a mere glimpse. After recognizing the voice, he sneered almost painfully. Keeping a tight grip on his gun, he inched around in the darkness, which was not pitch dark anymore since the doors had been thrown open. No one had any manners anymore.

Angel looked at him and smiled "Marcus.....im glad you are here we need to talk, I have some information I know you would want" She smirked she was the only one that dared hang out with vampires she was protected but then again she wasn't if she so much as thought of betraying them she would be dead but her love for Marcus took hold

Marcus

Not turning around to look at the daring human, he listened as she tried to sheepishly play her way into his attention. He could sense the love in her words, but also smelled her inner fear; fear that he would destroy her on account of any rising suspicions of a conspiracy. "You have nothing to fear for now, Angel. Kraven is the one that should be worried, for we have alot to discuss." His icy blues flashed for a moment before he turned to face her, noticing how her hair fell about her shoulders, his voice strictly business. He could just imagine Kraven looking like a deer caught in headlights, his words denying any treason but his eyes giving him up. Oh, the power of fear. Many may wonder why he was waiting, why he didn't just glide to Kraven's location and rip his throat out, for surely he knew where he was at, but he also knew that a rash action like that could cost him a hole in the mission and the pleasure of inflicting a slow death. And we couldn't have that, could we?

Jay and Cate (joint)

Jay and Cate both nodded when Amelia said that they had to get back to the mansion. Neither of them had any real idea what was going on with Viktor and Marcus. All they knew was that Viktor was up and he wasn't pleased and Marcus was still down and out.

Cate narrowed her eyes slightly. Surprise Kraven? Cate guessed that just about anything and everything would surprise him now. Viktor was up and something inside Cate was screaming to her that his plan had been major messed up. That's why the entire coven was suffering.

Both of the yournger vampries noticing the brightening change in Amelia when they mentioned Viktor's awakening. Both guessed she was now formulating a plan to get the coven back in order. This made them feel better. Being Amelia's prescence meant they felt they were going to get somewhere at all.

Jay's eyes were not the ones to narrow at mention of "those who have remained loyal". He wasn't sure anyone was now. They were all lost. None of the others had come to Amelia. However, if she turned up, things would be different. There were many that disliked Kraven's reign. Jay personally wanted to see the day that it ended. He was hoping today would be the day. His hands tightened on his gun at the thoughts of what might happen.

Cate nodded and raised her guns again as Amelia had instructed. She looked around. She, herself, couldn't sense a thing, other than Jay and Amelia stood around her. She widened her senses to the areas outside, all senses saying that the lycans who were here before were long gone now.

Both Jay and Cate followed Amelia obediently. They had always been loyal,e ven in her abscence. They could never conform to Kraven and only did so to keep him from killing them. Yes, Jay was a challenge, but if Kraven had taken Cate out first, Jay wouldn't have found the power to fight back when his time came.

Jay and Cate looked at one another. They ahd ran all of the way here, finding the energy in the thought that Amelia was dead. Cate bit her lip thinking. Her eyes widened as she turned back to Amelia. "We ran, but there's a car no more than a street away. I could get in and get it running as fast as you can say 'Death to all Lycans!'" Cate smiled slightly and awaited Amelia's response.

Jay looked down at Cate and smiled. She always had ideas. It amazed him how sharp her mind could be under stress. She had always been the same and becoming a vampire seemed to just have sharpened her mind.

Lucian

tag Anika, Priya

Lucian awoke, head pounding. Sitting near him was Priya. He didn't recognize the second one. He knew he should. Why didn't he? Perhaps it was because he was still groggy. His head continued to pound as questions quickly began to swell in his head.

As his eyes came into focus again, he finally recognized the third person in the room. Anika. Good. Glad to see she survived.

"So it looks like my tracking skills are still in tune." Anika had stated. Lucian finally found his voice. "Good to know something still works."

"Priya, tell me what has happened during my slumber," Lucian requested in a weak tone.

Raze

The night air greeted Raze harshly. The cuts on his arms stung. The restraints had put up a stronger fight than he could’ve expected. He was still losing blood. If he wasn’t a Lycan, the loss might be too much for his body to overcome.

Raze began to realize something, if kept this up much longer, he’d leave a trail straight back to the den. Converting back to Werewolf form, he sniffed the night air, searching for some sign of where the hell he was and which way he’d need to go.

Sounds of struggle in the distance caught his attention before the smell of blood other than his did. Not stopping to wonder why this must be, Raze turned and headed in the direction of the chaos.

Maybe I can at least find a donor, or some food anyway.

Amelia was really grateful to at least have two faithful members of her coven stand by her side. She did have great power but she knew there was great power in numbers. She watched the reactions of Cate and Jay as she told them what she wanted to do. She could see some suprise in their eyes but she could see the willingness to go along with her plan.

She started off, walking at a slow and steady pace, gun in hand, poised to shoot if necessary. She nodded to them as they walked along with her, guns ready. They couldn't be too careful, a lycan or one or more of Kraven's men could be waiting around any corner.

Once they had gotten out of the train station, Amelia was able to relax a little bit. They were out of danger for now. She nodded at Cate's suggestion of taking the car. Cate was always a very forward thinker always coming up with great ideas. She really appreciated having her on her side. She allowed herself to smile a little and said "Get the car running, we don't have much time". She then began walking towards the car, still very alert, gun poised, ready to shoot at a moment's notice.

Anika

Anika gave a half smile "my nose has never been better." She responded then fell silent allowing Priya to answer Lucian's question. Crossing her arms over her chest she waited for the responce.

Priya

Priya's head snapped to the opening door ready to kill anyone who came close to Lucian. She steadied herself when she saw it was Anika. Her brown eyes turned to stone as she kept the lycan woman in her gaze. It might have been many many years ago, but she remembered the betrayal of Anika's family. And Priya was never fond of traitors.

She ignored Anika's comment and turned to Lucian putting her hand lightly on his shoulder, "It is good news. Viktor is dead. By the hand of Micheal and the death dealer vampire who bit him. Together they killed him. He is dead." She smiled deeply knowing that this would make Lucian glad. Finally, the horrible act was revenged.
