Origin-Brooklyn, New York

Looks- She is kind of medium height with long black hair that goes down to her shoulders and is a bit wavy. Her eyes are a nice shade of brown and kind of big. She has some freckles along her cheecks and nose.
Personality- She quiet and smart. She has lots of friends and tends to be the listener among them. When ever her friends are having problems they usually come to her to talk about them. She never tells anyone her problems she just stuff it down and tries to make them disappear. She has a lot of panic attacks and stress headaches and things but she never tells anyone. She's one of those girls that has to be perfect and can't be anything else.

History- She has lived with her mother in the rundown parts of Brooklyn since she was around the age of 5. Her mother used to be figure skater which is how she got in to the hobby. When Ora reached the age of about 10 her mother started complaing that she was fat and needed to loose some weight because she would never be good at figure skating if she was that 'big'. Her mother's statements soon drove Ora in to depression and an eating disorder (anarexia). She's had her ED ever since she was 11 (5 years). She usually doesn't let guys or males get to close to her. She's too afraid that they will think she is too fat or something.

Her and her mother have never been rich but no matter what her mother strives for the best and always makes sure that Ora is perfect in everything, including her grades.

Looks: With the Japanese influence of her mother and the strong jaw line of her American father, Amaya is a striking girl. Her hair is straight, black, and shiny, dipping just below her shoulders, setting off her slanted black eyes and creamy skin. She is built like a little powerhouse, short, curvy, and strong.

Personality: Her personality matches her looks: dark and arresting. She is serious, determined, and very focused, but remembers to have fun occasionally. Amaya also doesn’t hold with the belief that skaters must be absolute bitches to each other during competitions and the like. Believing that doing her absolute best, win or loose, is the only thing that’s important, she is kind to her fellow skaters.

History: Amaya is the only child of a physicist and a neurosurgeon. She tried many different sports when she was very young, but eventually settled on skating; she knew she loved it from her first step onto the ice. Unlike a lot of other skaters, money for rink time, equipment, and the like has never been a problem for her. After entering kindergarten and having to automatically skip ahead to fourth grade, her parents decided to have her home schooled. They hired a tutor especially for the task, and the man doubled as Amaya’s ‘nanny,’ though Mr. Gruber hated being called that. He lived in their guesthouse with his partner and their parakeets, Flotsam and Jetsam.

Amaya now skates every morning and afternoon, only having to study for a few hours every day. That puts her ahead of a lot of other skaters her age, but she doesn’t relax into that knowledge. She is still trying to get down the more difficult elements of a lot of her programs; her goal is to be first in Nationals, though she’s aware the others share this goal with her. Her parents, her nanny, and she all decided the skating academy would be the best place for someone of her talent and intelligence.

Other: She also plays the cello, though that is more for relaxation and enjoyment than anything else.

Personality: She's a total sweetheart. She very caring and outgoing. She always tries to look on the bright side. She loves helping people when they need it. She's a very likeable person and makes friends very easily.
History: She grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. She's always had a fairly normal life. She has parents that love and support her, and a sister that she's close with and who also supports her. She's always dreamed of being an Olympic skater. Her parents, in order to help her acheive her dream, packed up and moved so she could have the best training. Her mother works at the local high school as a secretry and her father started his own law firm here.
Other: She hopes to someday be good enough to compete in the Olympics.

Personality For those who don't really know her, she's a really shy kind of girl who doesn't really speak her mind and lets other people walk all over her. When she's with her friends, she has a really bubbly personality and always gets her way. She is very nice but is often held back by fear. She sometimes has trouble commiting to just one thing and tends to multi-task to help her concentrate. She wants to succeed in something so that she can have her moment to shine and prove to everyone who doubted her that she can do it.
History Having a mother as a perfectionist has only made her a perfectionist as well. She grew up in San Francisco as part of the middle-class residents. The private school that she attended since kindergarten has helped her learn how to maintain a lot of stress all at once. She grew up being known as the thin girl who lots of other people envied. In 9th grade, she became partially being on and off ana and partially having an EDNOS. She has always wanted to be a figure skater but has never had her dream made true. She lived in a cloud of doubt and fear before she started pushing her parents more to let her take lessons.
Other Ice skating makes her feel as if she were flying and that nothing could bring her down. She loves it so much and wish that she could've given the chance a long time ago.
