Title: Room #01

Jessica - March 12, 2006 05:39 AM (GMT)
Post here for interaction in Room #01.

Jessica - March 12, 2006 05:56 AM (GMT)
Vanessa

Vanessa had taken her packet of info from the auditorium and left. So she was bunking with two guys until two more girls could be had. Just..... great. Her "maturity" factered into the whole reason why she was put with two guys and not someone else, or on her own for that matter. You know, not enough space and all those usual excuses. She'd just deal. Sighing, she put down her two duffel bags on the bed that wasn't part of the bunk beds and sat down next to the them. Well, she was alone for the moment at least.

Dana - March 12, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
Fox

Fox Owen couldn't believe that he was where he was and everything was just a blur. He and his sister, Christine were both attending academies and had reluctantly said goodbye. It wasn't like their academies were that far away from each other and they would most likely see each other soon. But it was the fact that they had been together for so long that made it hard. Were his sister attending with him, it would be much easier. But now he was stranger in to him a foreign land. And when he walked into the vast auditorium and saw all of the students, it made him feel more apprehensive.

He glanced down at this piece of paper as he walked toward the rooms and it appeared he had at least one female he was rooming with. Great, that was JUST what he needed now. He was hardly the Romeo when it came to women and normally fumbled around them. But he had to remind himself that he was here to improve his violin playing so that he could audition for the symphony when he graduated.

Taking a deep breath, he adjusted the cap on his head and walked into his room assignment carrying his violin case and wheeled luggage. He then saw a girl sitting on one of the beds.

"Hi....I'm Fox Owen. I..hope I have the right room?"

Jessica - March 13, 2006 12:45 AM (GMT)
Vanessa

Vanessa smiled. "Right room, I'm Vanessa, Vanessa Larkon. I'm from New York. I sing... and that's it really, just sing, you? I just got here actually. They were going to put me with some other girls but there isn't any rooms and so... here I am.. Hope you don't mind bunking with a girl, do you? Or should I say, young woman?"

Dana - March 13, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
Fox

Fox gave her a slight smile. "Nice to meet you Vanessa. I'm Fox Owen. Oh wait I already said that didn't I?" He ran a hand through his hair. "Sorry, I tend to get a little nervous around women. It's nothing personal really. So, if you don't mind a bumbling guy in your room, I have no problem. Oh and I'm from Massachusetts, hardly a city guy. I've heard New York City is quite a place and a great start for musicians."

He took a seat on a chair in the corner. "You say that you sing? My sister sings too but as for me..." He gestured to his violin case. "I'm afraid I am a mere violinist who can sing a little, nothing like my sister though."

Katty_storm - March 15, 2006 10:13 PM (GMT)
Severin

Severin had been runing late to get to the auditorium he knew his sister had all ready beat him there. Severin held a pair of drum sticks in his right hand as he took the packet handed to him. He barly glanced at the names of those he was staying with before grabbing his bag once more and pulling it over his shoulder. His guitar case was tightened around his other sholder with care.

Severin blew his blond bangs out of his eyes as he moved in the direction of his room. Just my luck and the others will allready be there. He noted the door to the room he would be staying in was open comfirming there was someone allready there. He took a step into the doorway and leaned against it twirling his drum sticks. His eyes wandered around the room and those all ready in it. He brought up his free hand to brush his blond bangs out of his face. "Hi looks like I am shairing a room with you." He pushed off the door frame and walked the rest of the way into the room.

Jessica - March 15, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
Vanessa

"I... How good is she?" she started as the door opened. She quickly stood up, "Hi, I'm Vanessa and this is Fox, we're you're what.... roomates I guess? I know... a girl, but hey, can't have everything, right?" she said, nervous. She wasn't used to being around guys so much let alone sleeping around them.

Dana - March 15, 2006 10:26 PM (GMT)
Fox

Fox turned his head upon hearing the voice. And he had to admit he was relieved to see a guy standing there. He stood up from the bed and walked toward him. "Yeah, it would appear you are the third person." He extended his hand to shake Severin's. "Fox Owen, violinist." She glanced at the guitar case. "Guitarist, eh? So, we have a violinist, guitarist and a singer all in one room. That could prove interesting for practicing at night."

Katty_storm - March 16, 2006 12:38 AM (GMT)
Severin

Severin looked at Vanessa and Fox he noded. "Shairing a room with a girl isnt so bad I shair a room with my sister some times no biggy." Severin shruged puting his drum sticks into his back pocket. He took Foxes hand and gave him a ferm handshake. "Names Severin and yes I play base gutar but also the drums." He smiled "I am sure it will turn out to be a fun expirace shareing a room with the both of you Fox, Vanessa."

Dana - March 16, 2006 05:48 AM (GMT)
Fox

Fox pulled back after shaking Severin's hand. "Ah, so that would be what those sticks are in your hand. Shows you how much I know about drums. The only thing I carry with me stick-wise is my bow for my violin." He gave a grin. "As for a sister, I have one of those too. We're the same age but she is attending the drama academy. Who knows maybe we'll team up with them or something? She really is a great girl."

He walked back over to where he had been sitting earlier. "So, should we call who wants which bed?"

Jessica - March 16, 2006 05:53 AM (GMT)
Vanessa

Vanessa smiled, "I already took the single bed that isn't a bunk bed. I hope its okay. I just... well, figured, since I was the girl and all and... well," she said with a shy smile towards Fox.

Dana - March 16, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
Fox

"Oh that's no problem, Vanessa." Fox replied back as he unzipped his luggage. "After all, I told you that I was raised with a sister. As children we had to undergo the infamous bunk bed scenario. It's only fair that since you are the only girl that you get first choice." He placed his violin case on the top bunk. "Hopefully I won't roll off the bed and come crashing down on top of you. I mean...well I have been known to toss and turn a lot. I meant nothing else by that comment as I assure you I am a perfect gentleman."

Feeling his face flush from the comment he quickly turned away and busied himself with unpacking some of his clothes. Right now he wished he could crawl somewhere under the floor.

Katty_storm - March 16, 2006 06:25 AM (GMT)
Severin

Severin took the only bed left unclamed he didnt care what bed he had. Severin placed his guitar case carefully on his bed. "My sister is two years younger then me and just happenes to go to this school as well she sings does a little guitar playing and a lot of trumpit." Severin sat down next to his guitar case his bag still in his arms. "My sister and yours should get along good she loves drama she has been on stage since she was six playing in Sound of Music."

Dana - March 16, 2006 08:33 AM (GMT)
Fox

"Your sister sings and plays two other instruments?" Fox asked glad that the subject had been changed. "Well, then she is quite talented indeed. My sister only has her voice but believe me it is quite wonderful. She was also in a local production of The Sound of Music as was my mother and I. She played the role of Liesel, my mother played Maria and I played in the orchestra pit. You might say it was a family affair. But my sister really belongs on the stage more than me. I can sing a little to be sure but my true talent is in my violin. I know that when most people hear that a young man like me plays the violin and actually likes it that I am some kind of wimp or something. But they just don't truly understand what it means to love music, you know? I feel like my violin speaks for me and who I am. I don't know if that makes any sense to you or not but..."

Katty_storm - March 22, 2006 04:25 PM (GMT)
Seviren

Seviren rubbed the back of his head. "Isnt that intresting I mean my sister played in the Sound Of Music as Gretl and in the same production I played Kurt two years latter while I was playing Friedrich my sister was playing trumpit in the production of Annie." Seviren smiled "Hey I understand my Bass Guitar speaks to me when I play it, its like its a extensin of me." Seviren shook his head "As for thinking violin players are whimps I dont beleve that for a secound."

Dana - March 22, 2006 04:37 PM (GMT)
Fox Owen

"So it would appear that The Sound of Music is a popular musical amongst theatre productions and families." Fox replied with a smile. "And it appears to be the launching pad of music students. As for you not thinking that violinists are wimps, I appreciate that. There are lot of people that think because it's not some loud instrument that it's wimpy. Or rather I should say, that if a female plays the violin it's fine but if a male does, it's not. Let me tell you that I could show you some muscles on my arms from having to move that bow! I just hope others here share that view."

Katty_storm - March 22, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
Seviren

"I am sure there are others like my sister I know for a fact thinks the way I do our Grandfather played the violin he did it to relax he was sad when I and my sister didnt take it up." Seviren smiled "I dont like to Generalize did you know most people think drumers are wild and crazy and not smart in anything other then the drum?"

Dana - March 22, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
Fox

"Your grandfather?" Fox asked as he grinned. "Well, then he was a brave man to take on the violin. Of course maybe when you get older you just don't care what others think anymore. Sadly, I am still a teenager and suceptible to what others think and have a reputation. " He paused. "As for most people believing that drummers are all crazy and such, that's because they are so narrow minded. Some of the rock bands out there have unfortunately contributed to that as well with their drug use and such. Personally, I don't judge people and come to my conclusions when I get to know them. So it sounds like we both have obstacles to overcome involving people's opinions."

Katty_storm - March 22, 2006 11:48 PM (GMT)
Seviren

"Yes it dose but I am sure we can do just fine in over comeing them you seem strong to me in that asspect." Seviren looked Fox over then noded to himself in his head yes he looked like he could handle what may come and it sounded like he could emotionaly handle it as well.

Dana - March 23, 2006 04:21 AM (GMT)
Fox

Fox let out a chuckle. "Strong? Well some might call it stubborness from being Celtic. Or at least that's what my family says about the Owen name. If you ever met my sister, you would find that she is quite honest about people which can be good and bad. She has a bit of stubborness in her too. But I love her all the same and wouldn't have her any other way. What about your sister? Is it hard being a brother to her?"

Katty_storm - March 23, 2006 06:24 AM (GMT)
Seviren

Seviren shook his head "Oh no she isnt hard to be a brother to at all she is very shy unless she is on stage it is the only time she opens up she seems to go to another world where she can be a diffrent person." Seviren smiled "shes two years younger then me I try to chalange her we compete against each other I like to compete Sarah I can only get to compete against me though.

Dana - March 23, 2006 03:06 PM (GMT)
Fox

"Two years younger huh?" Fox asked as he rummaged through his luggage. "Well, it's a little harder for me because Christine and I are the same age. I've been her...well I guess you would call, guardian all these years. I'm very protective of her when it comes to men." He sighed. "Only now I won't be there to protect her anymore." He pulled out a picture and handed it to Seviren. "This is her from her senior picture. "It's amazing how she got light red hair and I got dark. She's also pretty shy like me go figure. But we inspire each other."

Katty_storm - March 23, 2006 08:10 PM (GMT)
Seviren

He took the picture and looked it over. "She has a kind face but I can read the shyness as well." Seviren handed back the picture then went for the front pocket of his bag unziping it he pulled out a hand made frame. "This is my sister you most likely will see her around the school." Seviren held out his frame so Fox could take it. "This was a pictor taken last year when she was fifteen she takes after our father her eyes are blue where mine are brown like our mothers."

Dana - March 24, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
Fox

"A kind face? Yeah, she does have that. Some say she almost has some kind of radiance that comes from her." He shrugged his shoulders as he took the picture back and put it in his bag. He then looked at Severin's picture. "So, this is your sister huh? I can definitely see a resemblence. And you say she is attending the academy here? That should prove interesting don't you think?"

mingus03 - March 26, 2006 07:13 PM (GMT)
Beatriz Wade

Bee walked swiftly down the hall way, her hands shaking at her sides nervously. This school was definatly big and she couldn't believe she had actually gotten up enough courage to walk down the hallway and knock on a random door. Her own roomates hadn't arrived yet and she was bored and anxious. She could only hope that some of the other teens had arrived. Her flips flops made a soft clicking sound as she took the last few steps towards the first room. Her hand raised slowly, her callased hand raised into a fist and she knocked swiftly, her heart pounding in her chest.

Dana - March 26, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)
Fox

Fox was waiting for Seviren to answer when he heard a knock at the door. "They don't even give us full time to settle in, do they? Probably someon at the door giving us some new rules or something." He rose from the bed and walked over to the door, opening it.

He then saw not an adult but rather another teenager staring back at him. "Hello. Can I help you with something?"

mingus03 - March 26, 2006 09:17 PM (GMT)
Bee

Bee smiled nervously as she looked at another teen. She was stuck between pure nervousness and happiness. Happy that there were more teens here and nervous because she had no idea what to say.

"I was just kind of wondering around and decided to see if anyone else was here yet. My room mates aren't here yet so I just wanted to look aroun." she said nervously, her smile faltering a bit.

Dana - March 26, 2006 09:23 PM (GMT)
Fox

"Oh there's more of us here than you think." Fox replied. "If your roommates aren't here yet, why don't you come inside?" He moved away from the door letting her walk in. "Oh, I'm Fox Owen by the way. And uhhh..." He gestured to Severin. "This is Severin, he plays the guitar and drums." He then gestured to Vanessa. "This is Vanessa, she sings. Oh and me....I play the violin. Welcome to our humble abode. And what's your name and instrument that you play?"

mingus03 - March 26, 2006 09:25 PM (GMT)
Bee

"I'm Beatriz Wade. But you can call me Bee, everyone else does." Bee said with a smile. "I play the violin and clarinet. I kind of alternate between the two." she tried to explain. "I'm better at the clarinet, though." she said with a small laugh. She waved to the rest of them in the room and smiled a bit.

Dana - March 26, 2006 09:32 PM (GMT)
Fox

"The violin and the clarinet?" Fox asked. "Well, that's pretty impressive to me. I sing a little for my other so-called instrument but believe me I am not that good. Not like my sister, Christine, she has an amazing voice. That's why she is majoring at the drama academy in opera and musical theatre and I'm majoring in violin here. Still...it's always nice to meet a fellow violinist even it's not exactly their strongest instrument." He gave a small smile. "Who knows? Maybe I might even be able to show you how to strengthen your playing a little more? Granted I know that's the instructor's jobs here but...well I know that sometimes they can be intimidating and that it's easier to learn from someone who isn't." He paused. "And...I'm sorry if I'm talking too much....Miss Wade. I uh tend to do that when I'm nervous around people."

mingus03 - March 26, 2006 09:35 PM (GMT)
Bee

"Your fine." Bee said with a laugh as she looked up at him (he was quite taller then her). "That would be wonderful. I've been trying for a while now to strengthen my violin side, but its quite hard for me sometimes. And your not talking too much. I tend to get a little quiet around new people I've just met, so your keeping me talking." she explained with a small nod and a smile. Where are you from then?" she asked curiously.

Dana - March 26, 2006 09:43 PM (GMT)
Fox

OOC: Omg he must be like a giant to her lol

BIC: Fox was relieved that she didn't think him some kind of bumbling idiot. "Where am I from? Well, I hail from the east coast and the wonderful state of Massachusetts. Land of history and some of the best tea ever!" He teased. "I lived out in the country though so I'm not used to a larger city like this. Where I used to play in local theatre was about 30 miles away. So, where are you from?"

mingus03 - March 26, 2006 09:46 PM (GMT)
OOC- Yeah! Lol..she's only about like 5'1 lol.

ic-

Bee

"Not much of a big city person? I love the big city. I'm from Brooklyn, New York. The east coast as well. You can't get any better then the city! I wouldn't live anywhere else. Well...besides here." she said with a smile. "I'm too used to the noise and the lights. Anywhere else just wouldn't be home." she said with a far off look.

Dana - March 26, 2006 11:06 PM (GMT)
Fox

OOC: OMG then he is like a giant to her!lol

BIC: "Well, I've been told if I wish to be an accomplished musician that I will have to get a job in some large city like Chicago or New York." Fox replied. "So, I guess there is no time like the present for me to get over my fear of large cities. Say, maybe in exchange for me helping you with your violin, you can help me overcome this whole big city fear of mine? I think that would be fair, don't you?"

mingus03 - March 27, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)
Bee

Bee grinned evily, her mind running through everything she could do to help him conquer his fear. "You have no idea how fair that is." she said finally, laughter in her voice as she continued to grin. "Now I have something else to look forward to. Just wait till I get you to the city. Now that will be a party!" she said. "Espeically in Brooklyn. Of corse, you'll have to be careful, it is Brooklyn after all. But we'll have tons of fun!" she rambled on and on and finally stopped for a breath.

Dana - March 27, 2006 04:50 AM (GMT)
Fox

"Party?" Fox asked with an almost panic look on his face. "Whoa, whoa, I'm not exactly the party type." He paused. "But...judging by the way you are speaking, I'm pretty sure you are. You know the guy at the party that people avoid because he's considered a geek or loser? Well, I'm afraid that's me."

Katty_storm - March 27, 2006 04:04 PM (GMT)
Seviren

Seviren had been about to answer when a knock came at their door. He noded to the girl. Seviren let Fox do the talking for a while "I think she ment that as a figure of speech all though she might not of but thats how I understude it." Seviren brushed his bangs out of his face. "Sorry if I didnt say much before I was deep in thought its a plessure to meet you." Seviren then fell silent to let Fox and her talk once more.

Dana - March 27, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)
Fox

Fox let out a chuckle. He was actually slightly relieved that Severin had entered into the conversation. Regardless of what Bee thought, he was still quite nervous around women. "Oh hey there, Severin. I don't want to be taking up all the conversation here anyway. After all, there are more people here than me."

Jessica - March 27, 2006 07:13 PM (GMT)
Vanessa

Vanessa had been listening to the boys conversation with rapid interest until the newcomer showed up. It snapped her out of her fascination of the male species. She hadn't been around tons of guys, not that she hadn't had her share but still, so her experience was limited.

"Hey, I'm Vanessa," she said to Bee.

mingus03 - March 27, 2006 10:57 PM (GMT)
Bee

"Bee." Bee answered with a wide smile as she nodded her head, momentairly taken away from her conversation with Fox.

"And no! I would never take you to a party in Brookly. Gosh, I barely go to those myself. They're all really rough. I love it though. It's a great place to be!" she said with a smile and a far away look.

"Where are you from?" she asked Vennessa, wanting to change the subject so she didn't get home sick already.
