Gaia - March 13, 2006 02:08 AM (GMT)
RP CLASS NUMBER ONE: THE RULES OF RPG
READ THIS ENTIRE POST, DO NOT JUST SKIP TO THE ASSIGNMENT PORTION.

This is a beginner assignment, designed to do two things: help me gauge everyone’s level and make sure that everyone has a handle on the basics of role-playing. For most of you, this assignment will be a walk in the park. However, I’d ask that you do your best on this and try to make it as creative and interesting as possible, so I have a real idea of your level. For others, this assignment might be a creative stretch, so feel free to ask for help or post questions. Basically, I’m asking everyone to do his or her best.

The rules of role-playing are simple:
  • No Killing of Other Characters
While this is self-explanatory, a note here: occasionally, it might make sense over the course of a storyline for a character to die. However, this action should not be taken without the permission of the moderators for that forum, and the owner of the other character.
  • Be Kind and Nice to Other Players
    Also self-explanatory.
  • Stay in Character
If you must post out of character, use OOC (out of character) at the beginning and BIC (back in character) at the end of any out of character posting to show that the statements you make are not meant to be coming from your character.
  • Each Post Should Be At Least Two Paragraphs In Length
Of course, you will not always be able to squeeze two paragraphs out of a post. Sometimes your character may not have that much to do, think, or say. However, posts of five sentences (one paragraph) or less are not acceptable. Try and work on character development if all else fails. Also, for most of the RP Class assignments, the necessary post length will be three paragraphs or longer.
  • Try to Advance the Plot
This means be creative. Know your characters and find a way for them to work into the storyline. This can be difficult, especially if other members are not posting as they should, but the purpose of the games are to test your imagination and originality. And when you’re really and truly stuck, don’t be afraid to ask for help and advice.
  • You Must Post At Least Twice A Week
While this doesn’t apply to class, where you must post at least once a week, it only makes sense for the rest of the board. You don’t like to be waiting on other members, so don’t make other members wait on you.
  • Watch Your Spelling, Grammar, and Basic English.
It’s frustrating to go through posts that take you fifteen minutes to read because you’re trying to understand through all of the typos, grammatical errors, and spelling mistakes. You don’t like to do it, so don’t make other people do it, either. That’s what Spell Check is for, people.
  • Spacing
When writing dialogue or seperating one paragraph from another, put spaces between the sentences so it isn't all cluttered and hard to read.
  • Past Tense and Third Person
When role playing, remember, on this board, we role play in past tense and third person. That means, instead of saying, "I see the dog" you need to say, "He/She saw the dog."
  • Headers
At the top of your posts, put your characters name in bold to make it easier for everyone to recognize who the post is from. Also, if you are talking to another character and would like them to repsond, please <tag the character> at the top of the post.
  • The Admin and Mods Have the Last Word In All Things
If you have a problem, idea, or question, take it to the admins and mods, whose names are posted on every forum. They are there to help all the members, so don’t be afraid to use them to that purpose. However, this also means that whatever answer they give you, that's the answer. Period.
Okay, now that the rules are listed, here comes the actual assignment. With all of these assignments there will be a sample post that should be used as an outline of what we’re looking for. I will generally write these posts.

Assignment Number One: In Character, write a post no shorter than three paragraphs. This post should start with your character waking up in the morning, and then…who knows? Take it from there any way you would like. Write about the first five minutes, or the first five hours, or the first five days after your character awakens. It doesn’t matter to me where you take this. In fact, the more creative you get with your character, the better.

I’m trying to see the basics here: Setting, Character, and Plot. Really work on developing these in the post. This is to let me see what you’re great at and what you might need to work on. And please watch your spelling and grammar. If it’s so horrible as to be impossible for me to read, your grade will suffer.

Also, there should be no character interaction in these posts. This means your character should only be thinking, speaking, and hanging out with themself, no one else. More simply put, NO dialouge with ANY OTHER CHARACTER, period. That will come later in a different assignment.

The sample post is immediately following this one. Please follow the outline. (That means make sure to include the header.) Post your assignment in this thread.

Feel free to post questions in the thread provided. Have fun! :D

SAMPLE POST

Character: Zoe from Firefly/Serenity
Setting: On Board Serenity
Plot: Zoe wakes up the day after the Battle of the Miranda Message and…

His smell drifted through her dreams, spicy but sweet, flavored with coconut oil and engine grease. She could feel the warm depression in the mattress beside her, a little dip filled with leftover body warmth. Smiling, she turned onto her side and ran a hand across the pillows, eyes still tightly shut. “Mmmm, morning, honey,” Zoe said, stretching her long, limber body across the bed like a cat in the sun. She rolled onto her back and opened her dark liquid eyes, then sat bolt upright and looked around the room frantically. “Wash? Wash, this isn’t funny! When I find you, you’d better praying to the good God that—oh. Oh, oh, oh,” she moaned, doubling over, body bowed with pain.

The coldness that had sustained her the day before during the battle over Miranda was gone. It had been a mirage, a thin sheen of the battle varnish she had learned long ago to paint on thick if she wanted to survive. But first there had been the dream…that wonderful, horrible dream where Wash was still alive and Miranda was the nightmare. To wake up believing he would be there beside her was the worst form of torture she could have ever imagined. It felt like her insides were being torn apart, heart ripped from her ribcage like it was naught but an apple on the branch. She tried to force it back, to swallow the tears in her stoic warrior fashion, but alone in the room the grief overwhelmed her.

She had lost so many friends in the war, so many loved ones, that she had believed herself hardened. Zoe quickly learned how wrong she was. Exhausted, she finally let the tears flow free, hot beads of water streaming down her face. She huddled on the bed, nestling down into the soft coverlet that still smelled of her husband. That only made the cries come harder and faster, body shuddering, stomach roiling with the nausea of tears and heartbreak. This loss was different. It was Wash, Wash the ridiculous, Wash the annoying, Wash the beloved. The last moments kept flashing in her mind, words echoing. I am a leaf…watch me…on the wind…I am…watch me soar…leaf on the wind, watch me soar. Then he was gone, completely absent, spike extinguishing everything that was so vibrant and real about him as it drove through his body.

Hours later, or minutes, she wasn’t ever sure, the tearing sobs stopped. Salty streaks dried on her cheeks, making her face itch and burn, but still Zoe didn’t move. She just lay there, staring at the little plastic brontosaurus collecting dust in its place of honor on their—her dresser, until she fell back into a dreamless sleep.

riddlix - March 13, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
Character: Bellatrix LeStrange from Harry Potter
Setting: The LeStrange Manor
Plot: Bellatrix's husband and brother-in-law are imprisoned in Azkaban whilst Bella tries to adapt to life on her own, easier said than done consiering the Dark Lord now looked to her to fulfil the jobs of many

The suns first light flickered into the room as the curtain twitched in the breeze. A figure groaned and turned on the bed burying it's face under a pillow. The woman reached across the bed out of habit and felt only an imprint in the mattress, she choked on a sob, it was no the way to start a day, giving into weakness. She should be used to it now, Rudolphus had been imprisoned for over two months. Some five minutes later the pillow inched down to reveal the face of Bellatrix LeStrange.

Bellatrix yawned deeply and propped herself up in bed 'accio dressing gown', she pulled the emerald gown on lazily and walked to the mirror slumping heavily onto the table. She raked a hand through her thick black hair and attempted to make it settle neater before trudging off to the bathroom

Bellatrix LeStrange was not a morning person, and today was not going to be a good one.

She came back in and took her wand from the bedside table, she pointed it at her head and steam rose from her hair until it was dry. She dressed quickly selecting a flattering emerald dress and a pair of black robes which she hastily buttoned over the top. She slipped her feet into a pair of high black boots and the laces snaked and wound as they tied themselves automatically. She held her hair up into a tight bun before letting it down again, it suited her better down, it's deep ebony contrastingly strikingly with her pale skin. Tucking her wand into a holster within her boot she set-off downstairs her heart soaring at the smell of bacon.

She crossed the hall quickly and sat at the table just as the small house elf brought out a plate of bacon and sausages. She ate them quickly barely noticing the rich flavours. She always ate the best, she always wore the best, she was used to having the best. As a child she was a Black, a well-to-do family of honour and nobility, she'd met Rudolphus in Hogwarts and had been living with him almost ever since. She placed the silver cutlery heavily on her plate and rushed through to the parlour anxiously checking the window every few minutes and pacing in circles.

She stopped in front of the mirror preening herself vainly. Yet her fingers were ever twitchy, he was late, he was never late. The days task weighed heavily on her yet she knew it had to be done, and, she sighed, at least she'd take an equal share of the credit. Lucius had always been the golden boy, now it was her time to shine. She glanced at the clock and snorted, she was early, as the clock stiked nine there was a knock on the heavy oak door.

Jenn - March 13, 2006 02:58 AM (GMT)
Character: Lady Seregwen Rae from Behind Locked Doors ((My own work))
Setting: Random house
Plot: Stuck within the house while she waits for the night to come...

It was so tempting, standing just out of the harmful light. Seregwen looked around, sure she was alone, before turning her attention back to the light that filled her with fear, and yet also a strange facination. Slowly her hand left her side as if it had thoughts of it's own. She grinned and begun to giggle softly as slowly she played with the light, tempting it with her unholy flesh.

But she never stuck her hand in it, she could never do that. There was a reason why she feared the suns rays. She had seen it's effects on other vampires, friends, enemies...no one was safe from its cruelties. Except the selected few Ancents that littered the world as she knew it. She turned and walked from the light and started walking further into the depths of the house, thinking. "How much terror could I inflict on this waiting world if I didn't have these limitations?" Seregwen looked down at her hands, how mortal they seemed and yet so differant.

She stopped by the dead body of the man who owned this house and knelt down beside him so she could gently touch his face, like a parent would as they watched their baby sleep. Seregwen brushed hair from his still open eyes and brought her own fingers up to her mouth and kissed it and pressed it against his cold lips. "Sleep well child." she whispered as she rose and looked out at the unsuspecting city. "You weren't my first, and you definatly won't be my last..."

Galuwen - March 13, 2006 03:18 AM (GMT)

He killed all of those she loved - her whole family - before enacting every possible form of mental torture on her. She is waking up to her murdered family,

Crimson seemed to cover the walls as Drusilla awoke to the small of cooper. That metal smell that only blood could make. The sun shined from a small window that was draped in white sheer fabric. Acting as a spotlight of death, shinning upon her mothers lifeless body upon the floor. .

She looked. Stared at the scene before her. Her white night gown and dark hair framed her unsure features. Her eyes unwilling to accept the truth. Unwilling to believe this could be. As if a nightmare controlled her eyes.

But it was her eyes that also brought her back, told her it was real. Above the wall were her mother lay. In blood was written, "Devil child". Remembering what the priest had told her. That her visions was spuned from the Devil, she jumped out of bed and hit her knees. Emotions swirled inside her mind. "I want to be good!" She cried out as emotional pain took hold. Just then a vison took hold of her. A vison of whats to come. Her mind let her see herself. Her face, hair, it was truly her. Then her face began to morph. As she took the face of a demon. Snapping back from this vison she held her knees together like a child. "Mommy has gone," she said rocking back and forth.

Shayne - March 13, 2006 03:27 AM (GMT)
Character: Shane McCutcheon
Setting: At home/Streets of L.A
Plot: She had just slept with her room mate Jenny

The morning sun filtere into the room where two sleeping girls lay, arms over each other and one of the girls woke up, her dark brown hair covered her solemn eyes and she rubbed her hand through her hair, her gaze swept to the sleeping form of Jenny, her roommate. "Whoa shit." Shayne said getting up. "We slept together?" Shane said outloud in a whisper. "Fuck" Shane inched out of the room, her hands still running through her hair. A sign she was upset and a little peeved off. Why did she sleep with Jenny? Shane thought wildly.

Her hands grabbed the keys on the table and she looked down at her body. If she wanted to out she would need to dress a little better. Shane pulled on her jeans, a top and her boots and walked outside, her mind still racing. She went past Mark, so she hid her face in her hands and walked away from him.

Her feet carried her to the central of the city, her mind still in thought. She had really screwed up this time and there was no going back. She had slept with Jenny, her roommate and friend. "Fuck i really am a screw up" Shane muttered, wondering how Jennys girlfriend would react.

The sun poured down, heating the streets, making the concrete scorching hot as if it was on fire. It warmed the back of Shanes neck as she carried on into the crowds of people, bodies all moving in one swift motion, doing their daily visits of their friends, going to work or lunch.

Shane soon found a nice shady area and layed down on the grass, her hands sheidling her eyes from the blinding sun. She would have to go home soon and Shane knew it.

dark_phoenix - March 13, 2006 03:55 AM (GMT)
Character: Lady Deathstrike
Setting: William Stryker's base
Plot: Deathstrike, if you know if you watched X2, does not really know that she works for Stryker. He gives her truth serum and she 'serves' him. However, he forgot to give her truth serum one fateful night when he left to try to track down the X-Men...

The stone walls around her seemed to close in as her eyes flickered open. "Layke?" She called her daughter's name, and sat up. A sudden moan of pain flowed freely from her mouth. Her neck... her hands... what had happened last night? She remembered only a little, it seemed so long ago... her daughter Layke fighting... and then suddenly she realized she was forcing herself to remember without avail. Her mind was as empty as a blank white pearl. She bolted upwards, fear clouding her dark, almond-shaped eyes. Where was she?

She whirled around, expecting to see Layke behind her, leaning against these cold walls that seemed like prisons all their own, coolly regarding her mother. But she was not. She was alone here.

Alone.

The word seemed to reverberate off the stone-cold walls. It haunted her, chilled her insides until she found herself in hysterics, banging against the stone walls with her fists. It was then that she saw it.

Crimson blood was splattered on the steel-gray enclosures around her. Gingerly she lifted a delicate finger to touch it. It was dry. It was then that she remembered that night. Layke had been fighting, screaming at her, demanding that she be able to join the X-Men. Her mother had refused stubbornly. She did not want this happening to her daughter. And then they had stormed in... men in black suits that had tranquilized her with darts. And Lady Deathstrike remembered nothing more.

Her eyes lay on her fingers. They were paler of complexion than she had remembered. And then her fingernails--they were silver!

An ear-splitting scream pierced the night. "Stryker!" Images flashed into her brain, painful images, forcing her to remember more about what had happened. Then a sudden terror gripped at her as she watched herself kill someone--or at least try to.

Another cry erupted. Her cry was of anger, hate. Hate for this so-called William Stryker who wanted to wipe out the human race, who had ruined her life and had done who-knows-what with her daughter. Her emotions were pushed deep into her stomach until she exploded with them, her angry scream echoing off the walls around her. Sharp daggers sprouted from her fingertips. She was living in a nightmare, a nightmare. Her terror erupted yet again from her mouth, a cry that both was of terror and commanded her freedom that was not to be.

Stryker walked in quickly to the pained Deathstrike. She was rolling on the ground with agony. When she saw him she rose and was about to slit him from naval to nose when he ducked and her knives hit the stone walls. Stryker grabbed her neck and forced her to bend over. Then he took truth serum in a syringe and shot her. "Lady Deathstrike, you have disappointed me," he growled under his breath. When all of the thick fluid inside of the syringe was forced into the pain-crazed woman's neck, she straightened and turned to him. A dark smile curved her lips.

Stryker, in turn, smiled at her. "Kill them," he said and she obediently smiled in return and turned to leave.

As she did Stryker glanced at the wall that she had hit. Five marks from her knives had marked the wall as they would forever.

Takamoto Ichiwa - March 13, 2006 04:37 AM (GMT)
Character: Remus Lupin, Harry Potter Series, Marauder Era
Setting: Remus' Apartment, London, 1979
Plot: Remus is waking up at home in his apartment on a Thursday morning.

The apartment was tiny, but clean. There was a certain air of tidiness that lay about the empty corners, though the pictures on the walls and posters on the door kept it from feeling lonely. The three rooms were airy, and even when the windows were closed, gave the appearance that there was always a little sunshine, and maybe a cool breeze. There was little furniture, only a rather elderly and squashy chair in faded red velour, a scrubbed wooden table with four mismatched wooden chairs, a refrigerator, and small gas stove. All along the edges of the room, pressed up against the walls, were glass tanks filled with small plants and water bowls, their inhabitants apparently hiding.

In the corner of the small bedroom was a cluttered desk, and two walls were lined with roughly-made bookshelves, probably put together by the occupant himself. A tall cage stood empty behind the door. On the floor was a Japanese futon, courtesy a special friend, in which lay a slowly-breathing figure, the blankets layered to keep the holes from showing.

The lump that was Remus stirred, and a tousled head emerged from beneath the shabby blankets. "Tatsu?" he said softly, and then laughed, a hollow sound. Of course Tatsu wasn't here. He was still in school, after all, finishing his seventh year. But that dream had been so real, so clear...

Groaning, he dragged himself from the futon, and stood, his tired body protesting the sudden movement. There were some benefits to sleeping on the floor; however, getting up wasn't one of them.

Adjusting his plaid trouser pajamas, he staggered towards the kitchen, intent on finding some food. He was only eighteen, after all. It seemed like a very young age to be on his own, but as a wizard who had graduated the top of his class, it was perfectly normal. Eighteen was adulthood, all things considered.

And in these times, one had to grow up fast. There had been rumours, whispered stories. Even when he was still in school, there were the subtle hints that some strange and horrible entity was on the rise. He now knew that this being had a name: Lord Voldemort.

Sirius had hinted at things he dared not repeat, mentioned something of a defense group Albus Dumbledore was creating, or had already created. But Remus had heard nothing firsthand of these things, so instead of fretting about what had not yet happened, he applied himself to the study of animals.

Stumbling into the kitchen, he pulled open the refrigerator door. Funny things, refrigerators. He knew enough about Muggle technology to know that they ran on something called "eleck-tris-ity", but the inner workings still amazed him. Imagine, a device that kept things cold without ice or magic!

He found a piece of stale toast, a rather old tomato, and an egg. He sighed heavily, and shut the fridge.

"Bugger breakfast."

ames - March 13, 2006 05:48 AM (GMT)
Character: Ginny Weasly from Harry Potter
Setting: A normal, boring day at the Burrow
Plot: It's summer vacation and everyone is out doing whatever. Fred and George are in Diagon Alley managing their shop, her parents are out shopping with Ron for the upcoming school year.

A breaze ruffled the ginger hair of a sleeping girl. Her breathing changed as full consousness over came her mind and she awoke from a deep slumber. Ginny Weasly's eyes opened slowly. The sun light pouring in from her open window stung her eyes from the sudden change of light. A soft moan escaped her lips as the want for more sleep drifted across her mind.

Pushing herself up into a sitting position, a large yawn burst forth from her mouth. Stretching, Ginny shook her head, trying to rid the tiredness from her groggy mind. Throwing the thick covers from her bare legs, Ginny stood from her bed and adjusted her nightgown, which had crept up to her thighs. The gown fell back down to her knees and she stretched yet again. Her arms lifted high above her head as another yawn shook her.

Stumbling into the bathroom, Ginny splashed water onto her face and shook her head once again. It was time to wake up! She finished getting ready for the day by taking a nice, long shower, brushed her teeth thoroughly, and got dressed in her favorite outfit. She walked back into her room after all was finished and slipped on her shoes.

Wandering into the kitchen, she found a note from her mothe written on old parchment. It stated that Mr. and Mrs. Weasly were off with Ron, shopping for school supplies and that she would pick up Ginny's also. Her eyes rolled. Her mother was always off at the last minute, shopping for school supplies. It was her 6th year now, Ron and Harry's seventh. She could have managed to get her own supplies, but her mother was in denial about her little girl's fast approach to womanhood.

Ginny took hold of her book and walked outside the back door toward a little bench outside in the back yard. Memories suddenly flooded Ginny's mind. Dinners with the whole family, years ago. Fred and Charlie fighting with the charmed tables, breaking one of the legs off. A small smile crept to her lips as she remembered her mother's wonderful cooking, usually in celebration for Harry's visits. Ginny's smile faded. Harry... she truelly loved that boy. The moment he broke up with her was the moment her broke her heart.

Ginny sighed, deciding to try and forget about it, and walked up to the small bench, where she sat down and opened her book. Hermione had gotten her addicted to reading. It was true. Hermione would be reading some huge book and tell Ginny all about it and then Ginny would get curious and ask to read a bit. Before long, she would be borrowing the book later just to finish it. Ginny took a deep breath, ready for a relaxing hour of quiet reading. She leaned back on the bench and propped the book on her chest so she could read.

Her eyes began to dance across the page. She read slower than Hermione, of course, but she was better than most. She turned the page, slowly but surely slipping into the fantasy world of the story line. She was definatly into it by now. Hanging on every word.

Yes, it would be a very nice, relaxing, quiet morning... at least, until Ron comes home...

Character: Candy Foster of Moccasin Flats
Setting: Rundown house on the Flats
Plot: Candy is grieving her mistakes after being jolted awake by a nightmare

Covered in sweats, Candy awakes. She swerved her coffee coloured eyes to the window covered in rags, and blinks at the light seeping in. Banging her hand on the alarm clock, she turned over and sorrow came to her eyes. "Why was I so stupid?" she sobbed through her breath, pillow soaked in tears

She sulkily got off the futon, and walked over to the dresser under the window. She pulled out a fancy shirt her sister had bought for her, and a worn pair of jeans. The top dresser drawer was broken, and Candy needed to use a screwdriver to get it open. She wrestled with the drawer for awhile, and it finally came open. She pulled out some underwear, and started rummaging through the drawer again to look for some socks. She pulled out a small pink pair, that had Pippy Long Stocking on the side. Eyes filling with rage, she kicked the dresser down and punched a hole through the grey wall where the dresser once rested. She collapsed to the ground and sat there crying with the tiny pair of socks.

Flashbacks of working the streets for less then nothing, and shooting up under the bridge by the old court house flooded her mind. She remembered the faces of the men who hurt her and let her suffer this way. She blames herself, feeling weak and worthless.

She looked to the ceiling and brushed some tears from her cheek. "I'll get you one day sweetheart, one day mommy will save you again" she prayed out. She wondered what her little girl would look like now and how she was doing in school. She wondered if her little girl thought about and missed her too, or if she thought it was all her mommy's fault. She closed her eyes and dreamt about one day, maybe one day soon, reuniting with her daughter.

xxxcancergirlxxx - March 13, 2006 07:29 AM (GMT)
Character: Jean Grey - x-men
Setting: Her room in the x-house
Plot: a few days after she woke up from the alkili lake accident, every one else is in class

Jeans eyes flickered open, she saw the sunlight streaming though the windows and closed her eyes again. She moved her hand lazily and heard the blinds shut, grinning she looked at the clock. 'Damn' she thought. 'Either we're all very late or they didnt wake me again!' The answer came to her when she looked on the other side of her bed, for the third morning in a row, Scott had woken up, dressed and left without waking her. She sat up and drew her knees to her stomach, feeling close to tears. He had been avoiding her ever since she got back; a hard job considering they shared a room but somehow he had managed to go almost four days without saying five words to her. They all had been avoiding her but it hurt more when he did it.

'Fine!' She thought suddenly. 'If they want to ignore me. Fine! I mean i only saved their lives by almost giving up mine....' She sighed and shook her head that wasnt fair. That was probably the reason, the fact that she was willing to give up her own life for theirs was probably what was making them keep their distance. She could barely remember why she did it. She thought about it, trying to remember what had happend that day as she showered and dressed but came up with just alot of muddled memories. In the day she couldnt remember anything but she re-lived it every single night.

She couldnt remember her dreams but she just knew that she was seeing it all again. It was quite wired actually, she didnt know she was dreaming about it as she couldnt remember her dreams but she had a feeling - an odd feeling that she was re-living that same day over and over again. She ran a hand though her hair and walked across the room, paceing round it many times. She sat on the edge of the bed and covered her eyes, trying to make herself see it, but only saw blackness as she did everytime. She was about to uncover her eyes and go down stairs for some breakfast when she saw her self, standing alone in the darkness, covered by flames. She uncovered her eyes to find her self layin across the bed, breathing heavily, sweating and shaking.

Character: Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter from Stargate SG-1
Setting: Stargate Command - Cheyenne Mountain Complex
Plot: With SG -1 confined to base Sam has to keep herself occupied.

Sam awoke and yawning stretched out across the bed. She switched on the light which stung her eyes. As her eyes grew used to the light she checked the time. It was 0800, and once again the alarm had failed to go off, “stupid thing” she shouted as she threw the alarm clock across her quarters, narrowly missing her computer. She dragged herself out of bed and ran her hands through her short blonde hair and laid out her daily attire, blue pants and a black tee, on the bed before heading to her bathroom.

Showered and dressed, Sam sat at her desk drying her hair as she began what had become a daily habit, she slowly checked through all possible means of communication, in the hope that finally there would be some communication from O’Neill or Sheppard that SG-1 were finally being sent off-world. She checked her base phone, nothing, she checked her e-mail nothing, this is ridiculous, she thought SG-1 had passed all of their medical examinations and yet they’d been suck on base for nearly 2 weeks now. In a final act of desperation, she checked her cell and pager, nothing. She hated the fact that the powers that were determined to keep her team on base, although secretly she was glad of the opportunity to catch up with her internal duties, which she’d let slip over the last few months. She smiled remembering O’Neill’s constant orders to “ Get a life outside of work” but her work was her life as far as she was concerned, she’d been with the Stargate project from the start, she’d was dedicated to the SGC point that she hardly knew anything else.

Resigned to the fact that she was to spend another day on base she headed to the comminsary, she would get something eat whilst she decided what to do. After grabbing some fruit and a bottle of water, she didn’t want to risk the awful coffee the place served, she found an empty table in the corner of the room. Looking around the comminsary she saw many of her work mates sitting and chatting but she wasn’t in the mood for company, she was fed up with all the red tape which was keeping SG-1 on base. She was good at her job and all she wanted was to be out their doing something, anything she sighed. She sat in silence for a while thinking about what to do with her day, she wasn’t ion the mood to be around others and had a feeling that even Daniel and Janet would annoy her. She remembered that she had been working on a data analysis programme in the lab and decided to carry on with that, it was not an easy task it would take a lot of time and effort, and she hoped that it would keep her mind of her base incarceration. She finished her food and taking the bottle of water with her headed to her lab.

Sam, arrived at her lab, she placed the water on the desk, fired up the computer and opened up the programme which she had been working on. She’d gotten further than she remembered which was good. She took a swig of the water and headed over to the filing cabinet, she took out the written notes she’d made about the programme and her ‘do not disturb’ sign. She placed the notes on the desk beside the computer, hung the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the outside of the door and locked it from the inside.

Some hours later the programme was complete, Sam was pleased with it. She unlocked the door, removed the ‘do not disturb’ sign and placed it in the filing cabinet with her written notes. She shut down the computer and headed back to her quarters, locking the door behind her. She arrived at her quarters and collapsed on the bed, she turned on the radio and picked up the latest Institute of Physics journal and began to read.

At 2300 Sam decided that she should get some sleep, she put down the journal and undressed before climbing into her night clothes, she retrieved the alarm clock from where it had landed, on the floor on the other side of the room, and placed in on the nightstand, turned off the radio and crawled into bed. As Sam drifted off to sleep she hoped that the following day would bring with it news of SG-1’s long awaited mission.

Character: Brooke Davis- One Tree Hill
Setting: Brooke's apartment
Plot: Brooke meets an handsome stranger

She awoke to a spec of light on her face, the light gradually shone from a small crack from the curtains, something so small, but small enough for Brooke's eyes to jolt open, with a little hesitance brooke raised her arm and with a fist rubbed her eyes, "ahh a new day" she thought, this could be the day she finally got over Lucas, or could it, could it be like all the other days, days filled with pain and sorrow, memorys of how her heart was broken, broken by the very people she trusted, the very people she thought loved her.
Brooke lifted her self from her bed, grabbed her robe and made way for the door, she looked over at the kitchen table, sat there with small balls of screwed up paper around her was Haley, Brooke noticed the pain on her face, something she could relate to a little too much, she approached her with a puzzled luck on her face, " Uh Hales why the hell is there paper crowding my kitchen, you throwing a little party for all the tutors in the land, is your version of our alchohol", Brooke let out a small but playful giggle and then awaited Haleys relpy.

"I wish, be a lot easier than writing a sorry note to Nathan, something of which im trying to do right now, but for some damm reason i just cant seem to express what im feeling, i just wish he'd stick around long enough for me to tell him face to face, but somehow i dont think that will happen" Haley looked down and with one hand stroked her hair and let out a lonely sigh

"What is it with men, if they arent totally dumping on you with all their might and with your best friend may i add!, then they are blaming you for thinking of yourself for once.... ahh i need a break, a break from it all", Brooke lifted a book from haleys table and slammed it loud, Haley jolted from her seat and grabbed the book with a forceful might and looked at Brooke,

"Jeez Brooke careful on the old wood, neither of us have the money to replace this old and fragile table" Haley still standing next to Brooke, walked over the the sofa and slumped on the arm, she then grabbed a pillow from beside her and began to cuddle it, Brooke walked over to her and playfullly slapped her head,

"Im going to get the mail"

"Hey do you mind, make sure you dont treat the mail in the same manner" Haley looked at Brooke, while rubbing her head, Brooke looked back while opening the door

"I wont"

She then approached the mail box and lifted the worn metal lid and grabbed the mail, she looked down at the contents of her hand when she suddenly bumped in to something, this caused the mail to fly everywhere, she looked up and standing there was a man, a man who brooke had never seen before but for some reason took her full attention.

Character: The Doctor from Doctor Who
Setting: The TARDIS in the time vortex, later on Earth in 2005
Plot: Dealing with survivor guilt (or not as the case may be).

As he awoke, the Doctor looked around his room. The lights were low (which, he noted mentally, matched his mood). As he worked out why he was fully dressed and lying on his bed memories, all bad, washed over him. He forced himself not to think about what had happened. He was the last of his people and there was nothing he could do about it but try to go on.

He noticed a distinctive vibration through the floor as he clambered off the bed. It was something he had learned to recognise through centuries of travelling. The TARDIS, his time ship, was still moving through the time vortex. After leaving his home for the last time he must have laid in time-space co-ordinates without thinking about it. As he turned the light on, the Doctor saw his outfit. The Edwardian gentleman's outfit he had been wearing for more than one body was practically ruined after what had happened so it was time for a change.

The wardrobe within the TARDIS was a cavernous room filled with outfits from a multitude of worlds and times. Despite the more eclectic possibilities the black leather jacket over a black jumper and black slacks seemed more suitable than anything else in the room. A subtle change in the vibration through the deck told him that the TARDIS had landed. As he walked into the console room the Doctor walked to the scanner mounted on the console at the exact centre of the room. He frowned as he saw where he was. "Earth". The fact that the scanner was picking up anomalous energy readings within ten miles of the ship was a little interesting. "I guess I'll have to investigate".

The air outside of the TARDIS was crisp as the Doctor locked the door of the ship. He noted with a hint of a smile that the exterior of the ship was still that of a 1960's Police Call Box although it looked a little battered. The ship had landed in what appeared to be a suburban street, one of millions on that particular planet. In the somewhat bad shape the TARDIS was in, making a trip anywhere closer was probably a bad idea. He would have to go on foot.

As he tried to remember the intricacies of the London public transport system the Doctor smiled, no matter what else happened in his life, change was the only constant.

Character: Barbas, Demon of Fear
Setting: Hell's Alternate Demension/During Halloween
Plot: Barbas has been stuck in Hell's Alternate Demension for years, but he found a loophole, on a certain day of the year, he can go to Earth.

Barbas was floating around in nothingness when he saw ahead of him a light coming through a veil of sorts. Then he remembered, Today must be All Hollows Eve/Halloween. All Hollows Eve is the day when the veil between worlds is the thinnest, and demons, ghost and ghouls can walk among the living on Earth.
After having this apiphany, he started to make his way towards the veil. It took him a while, for the darkness that was around him made it difficult. It was like swimming through molasses. If only I could get through. I could start to have some real fun, and spread some Fear...

He finally reached the veil and started to put his legs and hands through, he could feel wind on them, what a sensation that was. After a minute he got the rest of the way out. Oh he was going to have fun with this. That is if he didnt get vanquished by the Charmed Ones again. Oh how he hated those meddeling witches, and their precious Whitelighter. Yuck! That was why he was going to be more careful with his time on earth. For he could only be here until the clock struck midnight, then he would be forced back into the Alternate Demension. Where he would be bored for years. Ugh! Why was he thinking this way? Demons only had one purpose, and right now it was to scare to death little witches.

Now to find his first victum, Barbas used his senses and located a witch all by herself, Oh this is going to be easy, she is already partially scared. He shimmered over to where the witch was located. He found her sitting alone in her room on the floor, with her hands around her knees. Barbas looked at her, and took his right hand and waved it over her person. With the palm facing himself, so he could see her greatest fear. He knelt down and whispered in her ear, "I see your greatest fear is being all alone, with no one to hear you scream." He used his power to simulate her being in a small cramped box, with the feeling that she was the last person on earth, and would be alone for the rest of her life. Her hair started to turn white, and she screamed until she had no more breath. She had died, while she was dieing Barbas absorbed in her fear. He felt so alive, so full of energy.

Character: Lorelai Gilmore from The Gilmore Girls
Setting: Lorelai and Rory's home
Plot: Takes place in the third season of Gilmore Girls. Rory is dating Jess, Lorelai doesn't feel good about it. She is just waking up to find Rory not home.

Lorelai woke up, still wondering if she was dreaming or not. She looked over at the clock on her night stand. "Is it really 9:00 already?" she thought to herself. She stumbled out of bed. "Damn it!" she mumbled under her breath as she ran into the table.

"Rory! Babe! Where are you?" Lorelai hollared after checking Rory's room. She was here last night, so where did she go? She went into the kitchen and pored her everyday cup of coffee. Then she saw a note on the kitchen table, almost burried under all the magazines that the girls subscribe to but never actually read.

Hey mom! Good morning! Jess stoped by around 4 a.m. (I couldn't sleep, so I decided to read. He noticed the light, I'm guessing.) and asked me if I wanted to go watch the sunrise with him. Afterward we were gonna grab a bite and maybe hit the bookstore. If you need me, look around town! Love you!
And don't eat my piece of cake from Sookie! You shouldn't have eaten yours if you wanted it for breakfast!

Lorelai sighed. Rory was spending too much time with him. He wasn't good for her. He had crashed her car before! She knew she was being paranoid. But she had bad feelings about Jess and she didn't know why. But Rory really loved him. And as much as she hated to admit it, they were cute together. So she decided to give them a chance. After all, how much harm can be done?

Character: Ronan Dex of Stargate Atlantis
Setting: Atlantis and the mainland
Plot: Wraith threats on the mainland, north of where the Ethosians now live, Ronan has volunteered to check it out.

Ronan Dex awoke from inside his quarters. He checked the clock, 6am, just as he had hoped. He rose from the bed, pulling his long hair back as he went, and threw on his t-shirt. before leaving his quarters, he took up a P90 that he had been training with the previous night. He then left his quarters and headed straight for the hanger to board his puddle jumper. Teyla Emmaugen was supposed to be joining him on this flight to the mainland, but she had been off world for a little over 3 days now, so Ronan had decided to go alone. The Wraith could be at the mainland now, and he didn't want any help for this one. A runner for seven years, Ronan couldn't wait to show the Wraith how strong he was.

Ronan's footsteps echoed in the hanger. He saw his puddle jumper, and walked over to it. "The Wraith were stupid to come back here," he muttered to himself, before smiling at their stupidity and getting aboard. Inside Ronan started the jumper with a bit of difficulty. He looked to the side of the jumper and saw a Wraith stunner. He managed to get the hanger doors open, then took the puddle jumper out the roof and into the pinkish glow of the sunrise.

The twenty minute ride to the mainland seemed to go faster than usual. Ronan landed the puddle jumper behind a large section of rocks, just west from the Ethosian village. He grabbed the Wraith stunner, put it into his belt and picked up his P90. He wasn't used to a P90, having only started using them on Colonel Sheppard's request. He opened the puddle jumper door and silently stepped out, making sure to cloak the puddle jumper, just in case a Wraith decided to come around. The sun was almost up now, telling Ronan he must be quick if he didn't want to be detected. He ran silently into the Ethosian village, where the people still slept soundly, Doctor Weir decided not to tell them of the possible threat, as not to worry them. Ronan and Teyla had both thought that was a bad idea, fearing for the safety of Teyla's people, but Dr Weir had put her foot down. Lost in thought, Ronan barely noticed leaving the village. He snapped himself out of thought and headed to where the Wraith were supposed to be. As he neared the spot, he crouched down. A fairly large hill was blocking the view, so he climbed it, making sure to keep low, and peered over the top. No Wraith hives, not even a Wraith dart. Slightly disappointed, Ronan turned around to head back. As he headed back down the hill, his thoughts wandered for a split second, to whether Teyla was back or not.

Jacq - March 14, 2006 03:08 PM (GMT)
Character: Tifa
Setting: Her house in town
Plot: She has just returned home after helping Cloud in a major battle and needs to occupy herself while he recovers from his injuries.

Tifa opened her eyes to the bright morning light shining in from her opened window. She blinked, then looked over. The sun had just risen above the tree line and the birds were chirping merrily. That meant it must be early still. She hadn't overslept at least. That was good. She groaned a little, the stiffness of her muscles taking over as she attempted to sit up.

Finally accomplishing her goal after a few moments of limb cracking and streatching, she padded across her room to the dressing table. Looking at her reflection, she grimaced. She really needed to clean herself up before someone saw her in this condition. Her hair was a mass of tangles, her face splotched with dirt, and her minor wounds needed tending before they became major ones. She groaned slightlly at the chores to come and set to work on herself. Carefully, she pulled a chair to her dressing table and set to work on her hair first. At least she could get it out of the way, leaving her face clear for its cleansing next. She pulled the small brush through her dark locks and couldn't help but wince when she hit a particularly difficult knot.

"Ugh." She said to herself as she leaned over and looked at her reflection when she was finished. Not much better but at least she didn't look like she had taken a tumble anymore. Now to her face she supposed. Sighing, she braced her hands on her knees and got up, her muscles and joints still protesting at the simple movements as she made her way to the bathroom. if she never saw another fight in her life, it would only be too soon. She wasn't sure if she was going to be able to handle anymore of the strenuous work required, but if Cloud could do it, so could she. She knew she didn't have to prove herself to him, but she wanted him to be proud of her, for all of her accomplishments. Her thoughts turned to her relationship with Cloud as she busied herself with her bruised and dirty face. She wondered if he would ever see her as she saw him.

She sighed, not expecting her thoughts to prove true and decided to keep them for the safety of her dreams. She wouldn't tell him and risk getting her heart broken. At least she could keep him as a friend, she thought. Though, in order to do that, she would have to continue fighting beside him, keeping him safe. Her skills weren't nearly as honed as his were, but at least she could watch his back. She smiled at herself in the mirror and decided she would follow him, wherever he went, even to the ends of the universe.

Character: Kate from LOST
Setting: Before the crash- on the plane
Plot: She is in mid flight, and really bored

Squinting, she could just make out the blue sky through the bright sunlight of high noon. It had been sunlight again and again over the past few days- conteracting her mood. So what if I robbed a bank, she thought, trying to convince herself as much as complaining. I helped save a lot of people, right?

A bird flew by, it looked like a hawk, but Kate wasn't much of a birdwatcher. It could have been a pigon for all she cared. She pressed herBut then again, it was free. Free to go where it pleased. Free to fly away, hundreds of miles away. Or it can stay, she thought, her fists clenching. It would never be chaned up, a prisoner, like me. She looked back to the front of the seat, unable to bare it anymore. In a red sharpie, 'Jake wuz here- 2003 555-0147 Call me baby!' was written. It was scribbled out, but still legable.

After a moment of unshed tears and bubbling hatred for the world, she gazed back out the dingy window, lost in her thoughts while a baby was crying a few seats ahead, and behind her not far the door to the smelly bathroom full of human feces, and probably also other nonchalant bogs, slammed shut. Crimanals never get the good things, she thought. Because of one little mistake. One stupid mistake. She reached up and tugged on the cheap white cover over the window. Of course, it wouldn't come down. Only the best for us, she thought with dismay.

Character: Penny Halliwell (Grams) from Charmed
Setting: In the manor, back in the late 1980's
Plot: An demonic Saturday morning with the girls.

Penelope woke up slowly on this bright Saturday morning, not even sure if this world was real. She has been dreaming about weird things such as a tree with fired leaves and a tall men screaming insane things from behind the tree. Really wonder what that means... she thought. She looked at her black and red clock: it was 9:23 AM. Some weak noise, like someone was signing, was coming from outside of the room and Penny seemed to wonder where it was really coming from: It wasn't Prue, because she went to sleep at her friend's house. Phoebe's room maybe? She got herself up and went to the ancient brown wardrobe to put on some everyday clothes. She chose a long blue and green dress and put on a necklace which was totally matching with her clothes.

The room was dark so she went to open the curtains. A big ray of light came from outside and Penny's eyes closed because of the shine. After a moment, they were use to the light so she opened them and finally got out of her room. As she opened the door, 15 years old Piper ran out of Phoebe's room, closed the door in a big sound and rushed herself downstairs. Grams looked at her, surprised but amused. The weak noise was getting stronger as Penny was approaching her grand daughter's room. She knocked. No answer. She listenned carefully and noticed that Phoebe was signing an Elvis song, but not quite good.

Before she even had the time to laugh, Piper screamed from downstairs. Penelope ran toward the stairs and Phoebe finally got out of her room. She asked Grams what it was and as an answer, she ordered her to stay in her room and that Piper would come join her. Then, she rushed downstairs and Piper screamed again. She was in the dinning room, squatted under the table, totally affraid. A demon came from the kitchen with a fireball, searching for her. Penny ordered Piper to go with Phoebe in her room, what she did without any hesitation. She quickly climbed the stairs, but a little awkwardly, while Penelope was saying a spell to vanquish the demon.

When he finally disappeared in flames, her heart was running fast. She was thinking that he might have killed her because she was vulnerable without any power to protect herself. She thought about giving them back to her grand daughters but a question was most important for the moment: Now, how am I going to explain that to them...?

Character : Hermione Granger (harry potter)
Setting : Granger Home
Plot : Hermione wakes up gets the morning mail

Hermione woke up in the morning waiting for her owl to come with her test grades from the previous year. She sat down and ate breakfast. When she was finished she went up to her room and got dressed, after remembering that she would be leaving for the Weasley’s house immediately after she got the morning post and ate breakfast. She wore her gray pants and her pink top looking very pretty.

Later in the day her owl came with her test results. She tore open the letter and found out she had gotten perfect scores. There was also a mysteries letter inside saying that she would not be attending hogwarts this year.

“this must not be right” she screamed at the letter

She then got straight to work writing a letter to Dumbledore. She wrote a lot saying that this was preposterous to do this to a prefect! She wrote many things like you-know-who must have done this and this must be the work of the dark arts.

After she was done writing her letter she was still very upset. She started to cry and decided not to go to the weasley’s until she got a letter back from Dumbledore.

She saw something flying towards her window it was another owl. She quickly opened it because on the envelope it said to miss granger from Dumbledore. She knew it must have been from him.

It read:

Dear Miss Granger
I am very sorry about the fake letter you received with your test results. I know that you sent me an owl saying odd things but this is real! This was the work of you-know-who. He is sending everyone fake letters so they believe that they were not able to come back. He did not send this to harry potter though. He is planning a plot to kill me this year and then harry potter. Miss Granger I am giving you as many private lessons to you this year as I can on defense purely to protect Harry if for some reason he does kill me so please help harry potter you may be his last chance remember ‘neither of them can live while the other survives’ so not only will I be teaching you advanced defense I will be teaching you the killing curse to use on ONLY you-know-who
Dumbledore
Oh yeah the scores were real!

Many thoughts were running through her mind at the time. She could not believe that she would be learning the killing curse and many other highly defensive curses in her time this year at hogwarts just to protect harry and kill you-know-who!

Character: Phoebe Halliwell from Chamred
Setting: The Halliwell mannor in the attic after prue had died
Plot: Phoebe and Piper's beloved sister Prue had just been killed by the demon and she was sitting alone in the attic.

She stared up at the stain glass windows Prue's image burned into the back of her mind. Her eyes seemed distant and glazed over, she was deep in thought. She played her, Prue's, last moments over and over in her head trying to figure out where she had gone wrong. She blamed herself, it had to be her fault, she should have known. Prue had just been in the wrong place, Piper and her had known the demon was comming. Why hadnt they tried something harder?

She felt the hot tears as they burned in her eyes. A horid smelled filled the room and she knew she would be sick. Quickly running to the beautiful window she threw it open and leaned out, trying to catch the fresh air in the breeze that rushed by. She choked as salty tears fell from her eyes and she fell back inside and curled up on the floor. Her hands went to her head and she couldnt stop the sobs from escaping her body. Not knowing how long she had been there she finally found the strenth to pull her self up. She would get Prue back, if it was the last thing she did.

She wiped her wet cheeks and walked over to the Book Of Shadows. She flipped through looking for anything she could find to help Prue, and there is was, the spell she was looking for sat clearly before her. She Picked up the old musty and heavy book, that was worn with age and use, she carried it over to the small table lighting five candles of the purest white she could find, she placed them on the floor in the shape of a pentagram. She looked down at the book and chanted the spell praying that it would work, "Powers of the witches rise, Course unseen across the skies, Come to us who call you near, Come to us and settle here!" She looked around as she expected to see the bright lights of someone crossing over but she saw nothing.

Her head fell to the table with a lound thump as the tears began to fall yet again. "Come on Prue if you can hear me please..." She looked up but wasnt expecting to hear anything. She looked down at the book, a determined look crossed her face, "Damn it, I am a witch, I am a witch I tell you and I want my sister and I want her now!!" She looked up at the ceiling searching tears stung her eyes. She once again fliped quickly through the book repeating her words untill she found the spell she was looking for, "Please work, Please! Hear these words, hear my cry, Spirit from the other side, Come to me, I summon thee, Cross now the great divide" Now she begged for the spell to work she would give anything to have her sister here. She let out a sob and putt her head in her hands as she sunk to the floor when nothing happened. She felt arms go around her, the arms of her older sister Piper. "Piper I dont know what to do!!" She cried out but just sat in her sisters arms as they both cried their eyes out as they held and rocked each other trying to ease the pain.

Character: Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivruski IV
Setting: On board the bebop
Plot: Ed wakes up and, oh my goodness, Ein is missing.

Ed slept curled up inside the maintenance panel of the light table on the flight deck. She barely fit amidst the wires in the panel. Snoring quietly, Ed rolled over kicked her computer on. With a defining blast of digital noise, the computer sprang to life and jolted Ed out of her slumber. She hit her head on the inside of the cabinet and rolled out onto the floor, ending in a cross-legged position in front of the screen. The screen flickered for a moment as she plugged in her goggles and swayed back and forth. Instantly the screen came to life, flashing a series of numbers and screens along with several bouncing yellow faces.

“ Sleepy, Weepy, Creepy, peepy. A flashing light goes bump in the light,” Ed mumbled as she lazily tacked away at the keys. “Old news? New news? Borrowed news, blue news? There’s nothing new, Ein.” Ed said, looking over to the corgi sleeping on the table. The table was empty. “Ein?”

Ed slid her goggles over her hair and looked around for the corgi, but he was nowhere to be seen. Ed scratched her hair for a moment, “Ein, where are you? Are you hiding? Have you been captured by evil alien pirate dogs?” the empty bridge made no reply.

Ed stood, “The quest for the Ein dog begins!” she shouted as she saluted. With that, she put her computer on her head and meandered to the door singing. “Oh Ein where are youuuuuuu? I pirate snack I hope your not. A pirate snack I hope you found, for my tummy’s rumbly!” Her voice echoed off the metal hallway as she searched for Ein. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a flash of something dart across the hallway. With out a moment’s hesitation, she chased after it, shouting as she went for the flash to slow down enough for her to catch it.

Character: Hervoyel/Hal from The Isle Trilogy by Nancy Springer
Setting: In a forest clearing
Plot: Hal wakes up after escaping and thinks about his future

Hal looked around him as he woke up. It hadn’t been a dream after all. He really was free from his fathers’ prison. How he had managed to escape was a miracle and would certainly confuse the guards. As he tried to sit the pain from his wounds hurt like nothing before. Some tore themselves open and the blood trickled lightly down his back, tickling him a little. Arundel came out from the bushes and made himself comfortable next to Hal. Hal reached over and patted the horse lightly. The only companion and friend he had ever had. Hal remembered those bitter nights in the prison and shivered at the thought as he lay back down. He knew Arundel would warn him if anyone approached.

Hal closed his eyes and thought of his father and the revenge he would extract on him someday. It had been no secret to the Court that Hal’s father King Iscovar hated his son, and that was not why Hal hated him so much. Hal hated Iscovar for killing his mother. It was soon after Hal’s mother had died that Iscovar had sent Hal to the prison to be tortured. Hal knew that he would not be killed because Iscovar still needed an heir to the throne. A slight wind pricked up as Hal lay their on the grass. His eyes closed against the shone shining down on him. He knew what he had to do in order to get revenge. The people had been downtrodden on for far too long by his ancestors. Now Hal was able to do something about it.

First he would have to see to his wounds though. He struggled up onto Arundel’s back and set the grey horse in motion. They slowly went on their way. The blood continued to trickle down Hal’s back and front. He had nothing to cover his chest with so he stayed in the forest and avoided the road. He would have had to avoid the road anyway. Once Iscovar had been told about Hal’s escape he would send guards to look for him. He continued slowly on his way. I have to reach my mother’s people. He thought as he slowly blacked out and fell from his saddle and landed hard on the ground. Arundel was shook a little by Hal’s actions and stayed with him.

Oh I can’t keep missing all my tests, she thought to herself. I want a chance to get out of junior high. Her thoughts then focused on her school. The beautiful scene of feudal Japan vanished and she saw her friends from school…and Hojo.

Another wave of attraction flowed through her. Hojo was such a nice boy. He seemed to really like her. He’s no Inuyasha, she thought to herself. But then again, there wasn’t anyone in her world like Inuyasha.

How silly of me to be falling for that crazy, half-demon. He only needs me to help him find the sacred jewel shards. She strained in her sleep, visions of Kikyo floating through her mind. He loves her. He’s always loved her.

The alarm clock went off. Kagome’s hand found the button and hit it, hard. She didn’t want to face another demon today.

Five minutes later, she sat up, breathing hard. Oh no! I forgot that I was back in my world. I’m an hour and a half late for classes. I’ve gotta get going!

As she ran down to the kitchen, she saw that her mother, grandfather and brother Sota, were already gone. However, there were some very tasty-looking rice cakes on the table. She grabbed a couple and shoved them into her bag. Out the back door she ran, hopped on her bike, and peddled into her normal, boring life.

Character : Piper
Setting: San Fransisco
Plot: Piper is waking up to the fact he husband is still not with her. Dealing with that her club is being striked by a mob of people.

Piper was in the bath tub soaking all her troubles away. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Her very cute husband walked in. The steamy room fogged her vision but she knew it was him. He got to the tub and leaned in for a kiss. She leaned in to but right before they locked lips her alarm clock woke her up. She was so angry that she blew the alarm clock up. She covered herself with the blankets wanting to go back to the dream since her husband wouldn't be coming back till her destiny was fulfilled.

Finally she faced reality and got up. She put on her baby blue slippers with her blue silk pajamas. She walked out the door to go get some coffee. She looked in the boy’s room to check on them. They were sound asleep and she had a big smile on her face. She walked down the steps calmly only half awake. When she got to the kitchen she realized that there was no more coffee. She was mad that once again she had to make the coffee in the morning again. So she sat at the table waiting for her cup of coffee to be filled so she could start her day. She thought she could go to the club and see how P3 was doing.

After finishing her beverage she took a shower. She remembered that she would always have to fight with Leo who took the first shower. She would always win. She missed him more than she has in a while. When she got out she went into her room that was lit more than her liking. She shut the blinds. She opened her closet
and stared at her clothes from a distance. She saw that all her clothes were out of date. This meant Shopping. Piper didn't like shopping very much usually it was a plain t shirt and blue jeans.

So she got the keys in the car and left Wyatt and Chris in the loving hands of their grandpa. She was on the street of P3 so she could make a pit stop and see how the place was running. She saw that there was a group of people outside yelling and holding signs. She decided to go check on it and blow of shopping for another day. When she got there the crowds angry reverted to her. They recognized her as the owner. She didn't know what it was they were protesting but they sure were mad.

She got in the bar and saw police all over the place. They must have come in through the back. She realized a man in an army suit lying on the floor in a puddle of blood. She saw that he wasn't breathing. She asked a police officer what happened. They just went on working. She saw a friendly face and went over to the bartender. He told her that there was a bar fight and a soldier was killed. With the war going on she figured out why so many people were mad at her. She went to the back room and cried for Leo to come and fix this mess she called her life.

Character: Summer
Setting: Her Room
Plot:Summer is waking up the day after Seth meets her father for the first time. (Season 1)

The sunlight streamed through the white curtains into Summer's room. Her eyes slowly open, she yawned, and moan a little. She then sighed as she thought back to the previous day and the disastrous lunch she and Seth had with her father. At Seth's request, she had gotten the lunch arranged, all with Seth's ever assuring words that parents love him and that her father will love him. She really hoped that he would since she is so close to her father.

The lunch came and Seth got very nervous and wouldn't shut up. Seth told her father all about himself, and even got in a passionate speech about how comic books deserve more respect, that they aren't just for kids. He completely missed out on the fact her father loved to talk about her. She tried to give him little hints of this but he still didn't get it. When she finally spelled it out for her, he still wasn't able to turn the conversation about her, and soften the blow.

That night at dinner, her father had told her that he thought she was too good for him, and she should date someone else. This really hurt her, it broke her heart. She couldn't really explain why, but there was something about Seth that was so cute and sweet that gave her this strong attraction to him even though the logics were she was too good, too pretty, too popular for him. She loved him and didn't want to break up with him but she didn't want to disapoint her father either.

Summer knew that as soon as she got to school, Seth would come up to her all nervous and ask how he did. She knew it would hurt him for her to tell him the truth but she hadn't to, yet she was not ready to. She didn't know what to do. This Romeo and Juliet forbidden love was better in movies than in reality she thought bitterly. Why couldn't have Seth just been calm, cool, collected, and gotten that her father loved to talk about her. I mean he talks about her all time, wouldn't he think to talk about her inf ront of her father? Talk about how great she is, how pretty she is, how incredible she is, etc. Guys were just so frustrating she thought with a sigh.

The reality was though, she had to get up, get ready for school, and face Seth. The first two things she could do but didn't want to, the third thing she couldn't do and didn't want to do. Maybe I should fake sick, or just tell daddy that I am having my period and I just don't feel like going to school. Sometimes he is nice and lets me skip school because of my period. Maybe he will be nice today after last night's embarassing and diaspointing dinner she thought.

With a sigh, she pulled her covers up, slowly got up, stretched, and then made her way into her own private bathroom. She closed the bathroom door, turned on the shower, peed, got into the shower, soaped herself, shampooed her hair, rished herself off, and turned off the shower. She dried herself off. wrapped one towel around her body, the other around her hair, and stepped out of the shower.

Summer then opened the door, walked back into her room, and into her closet. There she selected a cute short pink skirt with a blue tank top. She then sat down at her vanity, combed her hair and kept it down, then did her makeup. Then she checked her work to make sure she looked perfect. She did. With that she stood up, grabbed her purse, slide it over her shoulder, walked out of her room, down the stairs, and into the dinning room for breakfast. All the while trying to brace and prepare herself for the unevable chat about yesterday's lunch talk that she knew both her father and Seth would bring up.

Character: Max from Dark Angel
Setting: Max's apartment in pre-pulse Seattle, 2021
Plot: Max wakes up a few days after escaping Manticore for the second time.

Max could hear the steady dripping of the faucet in the bathroom. She rolled onto her side trying to ignore the irritating sound and fall asleep again. Drip. Drip. Drip. Groaning, Max pulled her pillow over her head. Why was it that whenever she was finally able to get some sleep it had to be ruined? It didn't help that Manticore, the place that had created her, had given her something along the lines of Shark DNA. It made her need sleep less.

Manticore. The name made her cringe. She hated the memories she had of that place. Max was glad to have finally escaped that hell hole again. She had just wished she could have done more. It wasn't only her siblings out here anymore, there were all sorts of transgenics around now. Some of them didn't look human. Max knew that she had to keep an eye out for them. She just hoped they knew how to lay low.

Max sat up in bed, giving up on getting anymore sleep. She probably wasn't going to be getting any sleep for the next few days. Last week this time she was stuffed up in her cell back at Manticore. Getting out of bed Max made her way through her apartment to the small kitchen, and started to make coffee. Max was so glad to be home. Sure her apartment was crap, but she preferred it over the bleak grey cells of Manticore.

Her ears perked at the sound of movement in one of the other rooms. Original Cindy. Her best friend. One of the few people she trusted with her life. One of few people that knew her seceret. Max poured herself a mug of coffee, and headed towards the window in the living room. Looking out she saw the sun shining, it was definitely a change from Seattle's usually rainy days. Maybe today wouldn't be that bad.

Character: Phoebe Halliwell
Setting: Sun Room of Manor
Plot: Phoebe has been told by her sisters to search for missing boys. And she gets the help of a whitlighter, named Jason.

Phoebe walked into the Sun Room and sat at the Table with the map and crystal. She picksed up the crystal and started to move it along the map. "So, the kids were taken and my vision should a girl killing him. But Piper thinks it's the grimlocks." She said to herself.

"Unless the grimlocks have gotten attractive. I doubt that they took him." She continues as she does so she heard a jingle

A swirl of blue and white orbs appeared in the Sun Room, from which emerged Jason, a little busy wondering how annoyed the Head Elder was going to be when he caught up with him. Well, I did say I could handle this myself. He thought. He saw who he guessed was one of the Charmed Ones sitting with a map and a crystal. Scrying? "Hi." He said. She was definitely one of the Charmed Ones. He could feel her in his head. "I'm guessing your name is either Piper, Phoebe, Prue or Paige?" He asked hopefully.

Phoebe had jumped when she heard the names being called out. "I'm Phoebe and you are?" (Hot.) She thought after she asked her question of the man. She sat at the table still scrying for the Missing boy. "This will not work." she said aloud.

"I'm Jason Troy, I'm your new... whitelighter." He was still getting used to being a guardian angel-type person. He saw her getting frustrated with the scrying. "Anything I can do to help?" He asked. Maybe my whitelighter sense would help. He thougtht. He knew whitelighters couldn't scry, but he might be able to help her if she tried to scry through... well, that thought didn't really go anywhere, so he chose not to finish it.

Phoebes head falls back onto the Map. "Okay, maybe you can. . .help." She said to him with a smile. She made it to his side. "We'll talk about the Whitelighter. . .our Whitelighter part later, but now lets get to Lovers Island now."

Character: Rick Hunter from Robotech
Setting: Early morning, the day after receiving an invite to visit Macross City
Plot: Rick, after receiving an invite from Roy Fokker, is heading to Macross City to visit.

The early morning sun's rays shone in like beautiful dancing lights through the cockpit shield of Rick Hunter's personal jet. Rick loved these flights the most, as the mixture of the colors and the heat generated by the sun's rays reminded him of the first time he met Roy Fokker. Rick had awakened that day, the sun pooring into his room, to the sight of Roy, with his blond hair in his typical style, saying, "Time to get up little brother"

"Who...who are you? What are you doing here?" Rick asked.

"Why, I'm the guy who's going to teach you to fly of course," Roy responded.

It seemed like only yesterday to Rick, even though that was years ago now. Rick was very excited to see his "big brother" again. He couldn't believe that Roy had actually invited him to come view the SDF-1 before it's inaugural launch. It had always been Rick's dream to hit the skies once more with Roy before Roy took off to the far reaches of space.

As Rick neared Macross Island, he couldn't get over how incredibly large the ship looked when compared with the city that grew up around it. Rick couldn't believe that any of the many citizens he could see lining up for what appeared to be a parade through the streets were as excited to be there as he was, even though he was still in his plane.

This is going to be a great day!

Character: Wily Kit from Thundercats
Setting: The bedroom she shares with her twin brother, Wily Kat in CATS Lair, New Thundera.
Plot: It's the morning after the Thundercats return to Thundera

WIly Kit rolled over in her bed, the sunlight hitting her eyes. Why did Panthro choose me to help with navigating the Feliner? She groaned. I can understand him choosing someone, as Tygra is still on Third Earth. Why not one of the older Thundercats? Wily Kit tried to fall back to sleep, but glared at her brother when he started gently shaking her shoulder.

"Wily Kit, come on! It's almost lunchtime!"

"Go away."

"Wily Kit."

"You didn't stay up half the night helping Panthro navigate," she snapped, than grabbed her pillow and placed it over her head. She was annoyed at her brother, mostly because of how stubborn he was. She was just waiting to see if he would say if he was sent by someone or if this was his own idea.

"Wily Kit, Liono and Panthro have been arguing on whether or not to wake you up. Liono wants you up, but Panthro says you need to rest."

"Panthro's right." What she almost said was for Wily Kat to go away.

"I guess you don't want to try what Snarf's cooked up this time than."

Wily Kit looked out from under her pillow. Snarf's cooking? Just about anyone in the Lair would get up for Snarf's cooking. It was better than any restraunt on New Thundera, and even Old Thundera, before the planet blew up. She giggled, remembering Liono's father, Claudius, saying to Snarf once that Snarf should open a restraunt.

The mirror hanging on the other side of the room showed a 16 year old kid that was raggedy. I guess that fight took a lot more out of me than I thought. He laughed. That demon just would not give up. Wyatt smiled at the thought and walked into the hallway to the bathroom. He took a shower and then wrapped a towl around his waist. On his way back to his room, he passed his mom's and dad's room. They weren't there. Probably down stairs. He walked into his room and got dressed.

OOC: I don't know if I am supposed to do this or not, but I will do it anyway. :D BIC

Character: Prue from Charmed
Setting: The Manor
Plot: Getting ready for work

Prue

She was doing her long, black hair in the upstairs bathroom of the manor which she shared with her sisters. After putting the final touches on her hair and applying hairspray, she pulled out her make-up bag and began applying a foundation to her fare skin. She smoothed out the foundation effortlessly and she rummaged around in her bag until she found her mascara and eyeliner which she applied carefully so she didn't get it in her eye. She finished her make-up more quickly then usual so she primped her hair just a little more before walking into her bedroom to put on clothes.

She turned on her closet light and began pulling out shirts, skirts and pants. She mumbled to herself about how she never had anything to wear. Prue tossed her choices for the day on the bed and began to put them on. First she chose a dark red tank top with a black shirt and matching over coat, but it was too hot for dark colors she decided and set the outfit aside. Her next choice was between a long silver dress that was simple, yet elegant but she decided that she couldn't take pictures very well at odd angles in this dress. It was more for church on Sundays. That left her with her pink short sleeved shirt and a knee length jean skirt. She decided that it would have to do because she was beginning to run late. She quickly got dressed and headed for the kitchen for a quick cup of coffee and her car keys.

Prue's little sister Phoebe was sitting on their laptop in the kitchen when she walked in. Prue nodded to her little sister and went to the coffee maker, but the pot was empty. Prue sighed, she missed the first batch of coffee. She went to the cupboard and got the coffee can and a measuring cup and started pouring fresh coffee into a new filter. She added the full pot of water to the side and pushed "ON" and turned on the television. "More killings, bombings, and hostage situations everyday. I don't know why I even watch this thing." Prue said turning off the news and tapping her foot annoyingly until the coffee was ready. She quickly poured herself some, added creamer, kissed her sister and yelled for Piper before she ran out the door on her way to work.

Angel101 - March 23, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
Character Name: Mina Aino/Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon
Setting: Her home in Crossroads, Japan
Plot: Getting ready for school and practicing volleyball

Mina's loud snores were drowned out by the buzzing of her alarm clock. Oooh, she thought angrilly. I hate that alarm clock! Always waking me up in the morning and such... Her thoughts of anger at her alarm clock filled her head as she lazily got up from her bed, stretching and yawning before looking around the room with tired eyes. She surveyed her plain white walls and her plain bed, chair, and desk, and secretly wished that her room was a little less dull. She sighed when she saw her white cat, Artemis, sleeping like a baby on a towel in the croner of the square room.

She shoved open her closet door, revealing a colorful and fun wardrobe, much unlike her dull room. Quickly putting on an orange t-shirt and white shorts, Mina raced to the bathroom to brush her hair. Inside the bathroom, she immediately grabbed her orange hairbrush, pulling it through her long, blonde hair. Once she was finished brushing her hair, she looked in the mirror at herself. She stood there for a few moments, admiring her long, blonde hair and her sparkling, blue eyes. Finally, she pulled a white baseball cap off of a high shelf, and shoved it over her head. The bill of the hat arched forward, shadowing most of her face.

She raced through the kitchen, ignoring her mother's "Hello," and grabbing a volleyball. The volleyball was the ordinary white kind, the kind she used when practicing in the backyard. She served the volleyball up against her house, letting it bounce back to her as if she was facing a reall opponent. Mina gently bumped the volleyball back to the house, one again letting it bounce it back to her. On and on this went for a half hour or so, until Mina decided it was probably time to start heading to school. Before she headed to school though, she filled up a waterbottle with icy cold water, and sat on her front lawn, drinking it all up thirstilly. She sighed as she gazed out upon the neighborhood, and finished chugging her water down.

DragonDM - March 27, 2006 06:55 PM (GMT)
Character: Pinball (X-Men - Made up PC)
Setting: The baseball stadium; late at night
Plot: Practice Time !

Pinball woke up in the place where he had found to hide and sleep: a cardboard box near the trash bin of the Hotdog stand.

Crawling over to the edge of the large box, Pinball carefully looks though small holes poked into each side of the box; making sure that there is no one nearby. It is late at night, and no one is in sight.

After a few minutes of doing this, he opens the box and crawls out of the large box. Pinball is a 15-year old boy is dressed in blue jeans, a black tee shirt, black Nike running sneakers, and a red baseball cap. He is 5'4" and about 130 lbs, and has brown hair, and blue eyes.

Pinball stands up, and then quickly walks away; towards the place that he had found where he could practice.

It is 1 am as he walks into Yankee Stadium and onto the field. He walks over to the practice cage, which is under the stands, and out of site of the fans that come here every weekend.

Stepping up to the pitching machine, Pinball loads it up, and turns it on. Pinball then runs over and stands where the hitter would stand, and activates his Power.

There is a flash of bright green light from his eyes, and a silver "bubble" appears around him. The pitching machine fires off a baseball at him and hits the silver bubble which causes the silver bubble to flash. This happens each time the silver bubble is hit it, and goes on for nearly an hour.

Finally the pitching machine runs out of baseballs. Pinball gathers all the balls and re-loads the pitching machine, and then runs back over to the hitter’s mound. The silver bubble shimmers as he renews his place, but his stance is different this time.

Pinball’s eyes flash green again as two small silver balls appear in his hands; and when the pitching machine fires a baseball at him, he throws his little silver ball at it so that they collide: There is a “ting” sound when the little silver ball hits and bounces off the baseball; and a “bing” sound when the silver ball hits the ground. The baseball makes a soft “thump” as it hits the ground. Pinball does this over (ting) and over (bing) and over (ting) and over (bing).

An hour goes by, and Pinball is drenched in sweat, and his Silver Shield is only a faint shimmering around him. Pinball is obviously tired, but he was smiling, as he had completed his self appointed training session.

Pinball looks at his watch and sees that it is 4 am, time to go. The sun will be rising soon, and he needs to get out of Yankee Stadium before anyone gets here. Pinball jogs away from the Pitching Cage and heads towards the nearest Exit.

Pinball knows where the night janitor and the night watchman are, and he avoids both of them with ease. Opening the outside door, Pinball is careful to make sure that no one is nearby on the other side.

Pinball thinks as he runs away: All too easy! Just wait until I find those guys that beat me up, before. I'll make them pay!!

Satisfied, he heads to a place where he knows he can get breakfast and a shower.

shallot - March 27, 2006 10:12 PM (GMT)
Character: Pippa Baldesario (original character)
Setting: Her bedroom in Venice, Italy, on her bed, accompanied by her puppy, Zeus.
Plot: Pippa wakes to what she predicts will be a very long day. As is her usual morning routine, Pippa composes a poem and observes the sunrise with Zeus.

The first sunray of morning crept in through Pippa's window, bathing her tan face in its golden light. The glow fell across her closed eyes, tugging at them to flutter open. Reluctantly, her eyelids obeyed. Pippa mumbled groggily as she pulled herself into a sitting position, and glanced around the room. Still dark, but not enough for her to return to sleep. Tough luck.

Pippa flopped back down on her mattress, heaving a long sigh as she stretched her limbs across the covers. Her hand collided with Zeus’s soft fur and she turned slightly to face him. His large, brown eyes met her green ones, and she couldn’t help but smile. “It’s going to be a long day, Zeusie,” she predicted scratching Zeus’s perky ears. Maneuvering around on the bed, Pippa managed to position herself lying flat on her stomach, with her hand and hair hanging over the right side of the mattress. Her hair obscured her eyes, and she pushed it away impatiently, squinting into the darkness under bed. After a moment, she flung her arms under the mattress, nimble fingers fishing around beneath the frame holding the bed up until the found what they were looking for.

Pip released a short sigh of success as her hand extracted a worn, hard-backed journal from the depths of beneath her bed. “Writing time,” she told Zeus in a quiet, sing-songy voice. Snatching a quill off her bedside table, she stretched out on her stomach, and gazed down at a blank page midway through the book.

“At the speed of light everyone’s running…” she muttered aloud, recording the words onto the page in her spidery hand. “What rhymes with running?” she asked, putting her quill between her teeth and glancing at Zeus. “Stunning?” she tested the word in the silence, but shook her head. “At the speed of light everyone passes me by? Oh, that’s awful!” She groaned. Pippa drummed her fingers against the page irritably.

As she considered her words, her gaze was drawn across the room to the window. Daylight was bleeding into the dark horizon, painting searing reads and blues across the sky. Beautiful. A moment passed where Pip forgot her rhyming plight completely. Her emerald eyes just absorbed the sight of night becoming day until…

“Passes!” she exclaimed abruptly, causing Zeus to flinch in surprise. “At the speed of light everyone passes! She scribbled out her previous ending and inserted the new one. “At the speed of light, everyone passes… Yet I stand stock still, ignored by the masses…” That’s how I always feel. She noted to herself. “What next, Zeus?” Hmmmm…. “Life’s going faster than I can run…” Pip dictated as her eyes strayed once more to the window. The sun had appeared now, and the moon was fading into nothingness. “Life’s going faster than I can run… From setting moon to rising sun.” She nodded appreciatively and scratched the words into her book.

At the speed of light, everyone passes
Yet I stand stock still, ignored by the masses
Life’s going faster than I can run
From setting moon to rising sun.

“Ain’t that the truth?” Pippa sighed. She didn’t allow herself much time to admire the verse before her, instead, she looked over at Zeus. “But what comes after that?”

The pup gave a short bark and nuzzled his wet nose against Pip’s skin. “Yeah," she sighed. “I don’t know either.”

Tonksmuse - March 31, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Character: Nyphadora Tonks
Setting: London Flat
Plot: Tonks wakes up

The alarm clock on the wicker night stand came alive with the latest music craze. Tonks blindly tried to find the snooze once more. Her arm flew high above her head and swiftly came down, only to miss the clock and knock a pack of Tic-Tacs off her night stand. She tried once more and succeeded in turn of the annoying contraption.

"Uggg... No work today, need sleep."

Tonks rolled over and started dreaming of a beautiful meadow near a babbling brook with a jackhammer coming from somewhere in the distance. Tonks growled as she sat up in bed and looked towards her solitary window on the opposite wall. She soon realized there was no other option she had to get up and close the window. Throwing the covers to the side she sat up, her feet touched the cold wood floor. She winced slightly and slipped on her purple slippers. Once the window was closed she turn to clock and cried out.

"Bloody hell I'm late!" Tonks rushed into the bathroom, tripping on her Weird sisters T-shirt she had discarded the night before. Thankfully she had taken to preparing her clothes for the next day. Once finished she placed her robe in her mini back pack. She reached for her keys by the her calendar which she noticed that Saturday was flashing. She read the purple letters inside the box which said, day off.

"Oh for the love of Merlin." Tonks dropped her bag on the floor and without bothering with her shoes went back to bed.

Sailor Star Super - April 6, 2006 12:44 AM (GMT)
Character: Rini Chiba from Sailor Moon

Setting: Moon Palace

Plot: Back in the palace after returning from the past.

Rini woke up in her large bed in the palace. She just recently returned from the past and was extremely tired. Time travel took alot out of a little girl. Rini groaned and slid out of bed. She walked over to the vanity and looked at the mirror.

" It's hard to believe Mama was like that back then" Rini laughed to herself. She looked at the small picture frame that sat underneath the heart shaped mirror. It was a picture of her, Serena and Darien. She had to adimit, she loved the meatball head.

Rini picked up the crystal brush and began to brush the knots out of her hair. She put it up in the normal style she always had it in and walked to her dresser. She picked out her usual blue uniform with the red bow.

After getting dressed, the little pink haired five year old walked down the hall to the throne room. on the door was a note.

Rini. Your father and I are going to Mercury for the day. We will be home in time for you to go back to the past. Be good and stay out of trouble.

Love Mama

Rini frowned. Her mother and father had been busy a lot lately. They have been buzzing all over the solar system for weeks. Something was going on that her parents weren't telling her.

Rini sighed and went back to her room. She was going to go back to the past again around lunch. Her parents would mostly be home around dinner. That's what would happen. She would come back from the past, her parents had to protect the universe.

Rini always knew it was lonely to be a only child. But, after socializing with so many people in the past, she had gotten too used to it. Now she desperately wanted a sibling, like Sam, or at least a friend like Hotaru. But, with her parents so busy, she highly doubted that was about to happen.

But, with her friends back in the past, and the kids at school, things would be okay. Her mother would always talk about how much she loved her friends and how much fun they had in highschool. But now, her mother and her friends were all being protectors of the universe. So, she had Luna, Artemis, and her friends in the past.

Things will turn out for the best soon. When she doesn't need to go to the past so often, to preserve the present, she will not be as lonely. She was looking forward to that. She loved her friends with all her heart, but in her opinion family was a whole lot better.
