Phoebe
Phoebe entered the building and the rooftop.
"Come on Piper! We've got to catch Paige! Maybe this potion will work since she's only been evil for a few measily days! Hurry your ass up!" she yelled, running towards the edge of the roof. She leapt across one roof to another, sucking in midnight air before sliding to the ground.
Piper
Trailing behind her younger sister, Piper reluctantly followed, quickening her pace to catch up to Phoebe. It seemed to her like Phoebe was a little bit too optimistic about all this and reluctant to let go, or maybe she was just a little too pessimistic herself. It also seemed like she was listening to a broken record without end.
Evil. That word played with her heart's strings and tugged... hard. But she wouldn't let it show. Her expression remained indifferent as she ran after her sister, taking in a big breath of air and then leaping across the small gap between one roof and another and letting it out in a muffled sigh. "I'm comin', I'm comin'. Hold your horses lady, I don't even see her yet."
The Source
"Does this suit you?" he asked her, his voice low and calm. Paige was still quite new to magic, and to evil. He wanted to make sure that he had the Charmed One on his side, even if that meant being...nice.
Paige
"It's lovely-" Paige said, her voice a bit lower and sinister than it had been her whole life, but still quite femanine. She glanced around at the cozy room, with cave like walls. She had an alter, and plenty of weapons at her disposal. Her orbs had turned from a beautiful bright blue, to the dark black lights. She walked over to the weapons stock and picked up the bow and arrow, "Is this still poisonus to me?" she asked him.
The Source
"No, my dear. The goodness of the whiteligther has left you, and so has the weaknesses-" his hand gently caressed her cheek. "But it will do wonders on your sisters' whitelighter-"
Paige
Paige grinned lightly, "How do I find them?" she asked.
The Source
"They are still looking for you. Trying to 'save' you from me. All you've got to do is go after an innocent. They'll find you-" he flamed away, leaving her alone to contemplate her next action.
Paige
Paige paced the room with her arms crossed, trying to decide how she should handle it, but she knew what she had to do. She put out the fire in the fireplace and orbed away in dark orbs. Once materalized Paige grinned lightly and found the innocent she knew The Source wanted killed. He was a volunteer at a children's hospital, one that was destined to save many lives. She stalked behind him quietly, holding an athame in her hand. While she appeared to be paying attention to only the innocent, Paige was watching out for her sisters. That was the main goal anyways. The innocent would just be icing on the cake if she had the chance to kill him.
Piper
It was almost pitch black, it being midnight and all. Being a witch was a full-time and rather spontaneous job, which sucked sometimes. Just when she thought that she could get home from sorting out the fresh inventory for the club and just relax for a while before moving around again, she was sucked back into it. There was no compromise, no disputes, just sour remarks and narrowed eyes and eventually submission with being a Charmed One. Gee, I wonder why Paige became Evil... then again, she doesn't know any of this.
She didn't know how or why, but something told her to look over her shoulder, just as she landed on her feet on the fourth or fifth jump (she had lost count after the second one), and it was then that she stopped and stared for a few seconds or so, trying to make sure that her sleepless eyes weren't hallucinating or mistaking appearances, before looking ahead at Phoebe. "Hey, Pheebs," she said simply, nodding over at Paige and some guy that she assumed to be the innocent in this case. "I think we've found her." Waiting for Phoebe to glance back at her, she added sarcastically, "The stalking-some-random-guy-while-holding-an-athame-at-midnight kinda gave her away. Is this what they have been teaching her? How to be obvious?"
Paige
"Come out, come out wherever you are..." Paige said quietly as she waited for her sisters to appear. The soft talking woke up the innocent, and it was only seconds before he turned around and saw Paige weilding a knife at him.
Innocent
She didn't look like much, but the woman had a very crazy look in her eyes, and he didn't feel the need to try and stick around to challenge her. He began running, fast away from her. His eyes got wide as she appeared in front of him a dark lights he could barley see in the dark. "What the...?!" he screamed, trying to slow down as not to hit her, but she was gone in such a flash that he fell to the ground and hit his head hard on the concrete. He became unconscience the moment his head hit the ground.
Paige
Paige orbed next to her sisters, "Aww, you didn't have to stay out this late just to look for me. I'm a little old for a cerfew don't you think?" she asked with a malicious grin on her face, the athame still in her hand as she played with it absent mindedly.
Phoebe
Phoebe laughed.
"You aren't even worth the magic or breath of vanquishing you, kid... And you are a kid, you know? Cause a grown up... wouldn't turn evil... At least not at the slightlest little seduction, right Piper? You really are no sister of ours..."
Piper
Piper slightly froze up as Paige came out of nowhere and appeared in black orbs, not light blue ones. So the transformation was complete... they were too late. She didn't say anything as Phoebe taunted Paige through her response. Giving Paige a very cold look, she just shook her head slightly and glanced down at her athame.
"I don't suppose that your evil buddies have trained you to use that, so I suggest that you don't prick yourself with it. Unless you've been hanging out with vampires, then that's a different story..."
Her comment was full of bitter sarcasm, but she didn't give in to her inner emotions. Her anger was boiling inside, for Evil had taken both of her sisters, but she kept it in control, as she just stood by Phoebe and waited for a cue on what to do next. She wished that Leo was there... but then again, she didn't. Who knew what Paige would try to do to him, now that she was immune to his weaknesses. Was she half-darklighter now? Things were so confusing. All she knew was that she had to protect Phoebe, the only sister that she had left, and Leo, the love of her life.
Paige
"Ouch, you bowke my witle heart-" she pouted sarcastically and mocked the look of an innocent. "Then it won't be so bad when I kill you then, knowing I'm not your sister. I was having just a little bit of trouble with that to be honest-" she twirled the knife in her hand, and then got a surprised look on her face, "Oh, well lookie here, no cuts-" she laughed. "So, should I go by age, or slutiness?" Paige asked, ready to orb behind either one of them.
Piper
Piper was at a loss for words. She was their sister, technically, at least their half-sister, but what good would it do for her to correct them on that now? Did she even believe it herself? She doubted everything right now, especially their connection. Surely a true Halliwell wouldn't have fallen into Evil... but yet, she now remembered many a time when they had done it themselves, granted that it had been only temporary. Then again, the only reason that they had been able to get out of it and come back to their senses was because they had each other.
Realizing this, Piper wasn't sure where to go from here. She surely couldn't let Paige do anything stupid like, oh let's say, kill them both, so she would have to try to figure out something else. Oh yeah, the potion. Maybe that would work, but she didn't count on it, with their undyingly horrible luck. Tilting her head slightly to the side, she stared at Paige again, straight in the eyes. They seemed lost and unwavering with Evil, but there was one light speck, like a lost star in the sky, that shone through as if calling out for help. It had only been a few days, but already Evil was consuming her soul, just like grief and guilt was consuming her own.
Paige
Paige grinned lightly as Piper looked like she had nothing to answer to her, "Aww, how sweet-" she let her grinned lips curl a little more, and she looked quite devilish. "Big sister isn't gonna talk back-" she twirled the knife again, this time twirling it just enough to draw the smallest amount of blood from each sister, and then sent the knife in dark orbs to her lair. "No...how many potions can I make with those little drops of blood?" she asked, in an almost game show type tone. "Mmm...maybe the source would know! Should I call him here for my life line?" she asked, her eyes narrowing as she half threatened to bring the source to the very spot they were in.
Piper
Piper had tried being nice, she had tried keeping the peace between them although she was already aware that it had shattered into pieces days ago, and she had tried all that cryptic crap of being the better woman by letting Paige taunt them as much as she wanted to without raising a wrist to blast her ass from here to Timbuktu, but once Paige inflicted an act of physical damage upon them, even if it was virtually painless, her calm and gathered status became that of a majorly pissed off witch. Paige had now crossed the line of her patience.
"You don't have the right to call me big sister, Paige. You lost that right by joining the other side and becoming everything that we're against. I hope that you're aware that they are just using you. Once they get what they want, they'll spit you right out, or kill you alive, whichever one they find more amusing at the time. Evil has no loyalties," Piper said with a completely serious expression and a deadly matter-of-factly tone. "They'd just as soon recruit and use you for their little games as kill you in an instant. I just hope you're aware of that while you stand on their side and fight their battles."
"While we're on it, I could care less what you do with the Source, much less if you call him here to face us. It's not like we haven't faced him before," Piper stated coldly, standing her ground as she stared her half-sister down. "I've already lost everything that I had to lose, so if you want to get rid of us and do his dirty work while he sits back in the Underworld and has the Seer feeding him grapes on a silver platter, do it. But if you're expecting a session of pleading and groveling from me, you've got another thing coming to you. I've gone through far enough distress with the Elders and I'm not about to start taking crap from the other side too. So do it or get the hell out of my way."
Paige
Paige listened as Piper ranted, and she felt herself get a little bored by the end. "Is that so? You've lost everything you could possible loose?" she asked, her eyes glancing at Phoebe for a moment with a slightly twinkle. "Then you wouldn't mind if I borrowed this, would you?" she asked, grabbing Phoebe, and orbing them next to the innocent, who she killed with another athame she had, and orbed Phoebe out with her...
Paige had no intention of letting anyone on the evil side get to her, and she was going to have their respect if it was the last thing she did. She might not be a Charmed One technically, but she was a powerful witch, more so than perhaps she realized. She orbed Phoebe to catacomb that was attached to her room, but had no entrance and exit save for orbing. "You do gooders all the same..." she rolled her eyes, throwing Phoebe down, and walking away from her, but staying in the catacomb. "I've got more things on my mind that your sister's complaining. God, how do you live with her?" she asked, "You should be thanking me for getting you away from her-" she laughed lightly.
Piper
Once again, she was at a loss. She had flicked her wrists far too late and now one of the two remaining people that she had left were gone. One more down to go, she thought to herself, almost numbly. Running to where the innocent was now laying with the bloody injury in his chest, his heart no longer beating, she stared down at him with a blank expression. Pounding down on his chest once with a balled up fist as she leaned down on her knees and let her face fall into her hands, now clawing anxiously at her forehead, she bit back her emotions and controlled her now slightly trembling lower lip and sucked back the tainted air into her lungs, getting up on to her feet again.
Something was missing from her as she quickly walked down the fire escape and reached her black Jeep. She had now lost her sympathy for that woman whom she had shortly doubted as a sister. Paige was no sister of hers and she even felt bad for hoping and considering, even if shortly, that anyone could even remotely take Prue's place. That spot was now sealed, permanently in her mind and soul, and she had no emotional strength left to re-open her wounds and cry about her failures now. There was no time for that. If she lost Phoebe too, she might just stray off her path herself and go on a killing spree, or worse, although she would never fight for Evil; she would fight for her sisters, even if it meant losing her own life in the process.
Letting her eyes rest on the ignition for a minute, she quickly brought out her keys from her back pocket and jammed them into the ignition with haste, starting up her car and beginning to drive back home, although she planned to drive around for a while first to let her mind settle down before meeting up with her husband again. She didn't want him to see her like this... broken, hopeless, and vengeful. She knew that he was just who she needed to see right now, to slightly lift her spirits and comfort her in this hellish time, but her broken spirit wasn't what he needed to see right now, and she kept him in consideration before herself. She knew that if she took anything for granted, she would lose everything, including herself, so she drove around aimlessly for a while, lost in her thoughts.
Phoebe
Phoebe yelled, "Leo!"
She looked over at her .... so called sister. "So, how long do you plan to keep me here, till I die of boredom? And how do I live with Piper? Well, a hellva lot better if I was with her and Prue and wouldn't have to have you to deal with! I mean, I stood up for you and to think, this is the thanks I get. Some Charmed One you are."
Paige: "The Charmed Ones?" she asked, her eyes glaring at her sister, but there was a glint of her old self behind them, that surely Phoebe could pick up on, especially with her psychic abilities. "A means to an end, as I see it-" she said, pacing softly around her the room. "You wanted me because I completed your little coven, and that's all. What good big sisters," she mocked slightly. "But now...now I can choose for myself, live I life of my own design, and of my own choosing, without being tied to your emotionless burden...doesn't that sound like so much more fun?" Her eyes flared as Prue's name was spoken, "If you love Prue so much, why don't you just join her?" she asked lightly, her athame floating around her in dark orbs, ready to fling towards Phoebe, but something stayed her hand...
Phoebe
"Go ahead, kill me but then you won't have a hostage and you'll have nothing else, besides, what fun what it be to just kill me? Don't you like having me around? I mean, compared to Piper and Prue, when she was alive," she said with a lump and a swallow, "I'm the wildest."
Paige: Paige let the smirk on her face show, as she let the athame fly right by Phoebe's face, just barley grazing her skin, and then catching hard on the rock behind her. She sighed lightly a turned around, barley heeding her sisters response. "Don't tempt me!... The truth is Phoebe, you aren't nearly as wild as you could be," she grinned lightly, turning around. She had half a mind to cast a spell on her sister, which would allow Paige to work her own will on Phoebe, and eventually Piper...but something stopped her for a moment. The spell could be done at any moment, whether her sisters were around her or not, but there was a part of her that wanted to know her real sisters, a part that was not able to break through the evil that had corrupted her heart. "But something tells me you might have a change of heart eventually. The source has more knowledge than you think, my dear dear sister. And if it's Prue you want...then maybe you'll find her," she taughnted, wanting to use Prue as a cataylyst for pain for Phoebe, like Phoebe had done with her.
Piper
Pulling into the driveway, Piper put the car into park and turned off the ignition, sitting there for a moment or two, lost in her thoughts. She managed to summon the courage to enter the now empty house and confront her husband and anyone else that she were to encounter, which she was sure that she would. Swatting her hair away from her face, she walked up to the Manor's steps and unlocked and pushed open the front door, without putting much thought into searching for the key. She was so used to living there that sometimes she did it subconsciously. Routines did that to you.
Yawning, she noticed that it was really late. She began to feel tired, as it seeped through her dry eyes and aching bones. Figuring that Leo might by chance be at home and already asleep, she locked the door quietly behind her and walked into the kitchen. Tossing her keys almost carelessly on top of a pile of clean towels, reassured that it wouldn't make a noise, she reached into the fridge for a bottled water and then plopped down on a stool by the kitchen counter. She couldn't possibly fall asleep now. She had too many things on her mind and she didn't want to be restlessly rolling around in bed and then accidently wake up Leo. She was sure that his day hadn't been very pleasant all-together either.
