It has been 6 years since Genomex and the Dominion were finally shut down. Mutant X split up and each went their separate ways. Brennan and Shalimar are married and expecting a child while becoming guardians to a 16-year-old girl, Cameron or Cammie. Lexa and Jesse are together but not married. Now with a new threat that has surfaced and threating the lives of mutants they are needed once again. Adam now has to locate his hidden team knowing he needed them back together again. They would need all the power they could get with that is to come and it could spell the end of everything they know.
