Artemis Fermour was born in London, England in the Cripplegate ward of the city of London. Her father was the English consol to America in the late 1970’s she came here to live with him after her mother passed away of cancer. Her father re-married when she was teenager, and although she never looked upon her father’s new wife as her mother, she did have a good relationship with her. She was fast tracked through primary and secondary school obtaining 6-A levels by the age 15 in English Literature, Latin, Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Politics
Artemis was educated in Oxford University in St. Hilda’s college, where she graduated with a joint honours degree in English and Classical studies. While at St Hilda’s she became close friends with the pathologist Dr. Jack Craine. He encouraged her interest in pathology, which she discovered while researching for a term paper on was writing about a homicide detective. He began letting her assist in autopsies despite her lack of experience or training. He plied her with forensic journals and text books, it was at this time that she was approached by Scotland Yard to assist in minor cases of missing persons and basic instances of robbery and house theft.
This caused her focus to change from English to forensics; within 2 years, she had completed her master’s degree in Biology. She now works as a Homicide Criminologist on specialist cases in Scotland Yard. Artemis suffers from OCD, but it gives her a uniquely anilitical mind frame, and is currently on loan to LVPD as part of a cross-continental partnership scheme.


Artemis is meticulous in her appearance. Her long black hair is always swept back into an elegant ponytail. Although when she is stressed out a few rebellious curls, fall down in front of her eyes. The almond shape of her eyes complements completely the dark chocolate colour of them. She enjoys music and plays several instruments including the harp and the saxophone.

Vanessa grew up in the streets of Las Vegas. Having the city as her playgroud. Never having to worry about safety with her families hired body guards she was also in good hands. She saw alot of things that made her very unproud of her family. After she saw a slaughter of at least 10 good men by her father and uncle she decided to one day brake apart from her family. She wouldn't go to the police directly. She studied law in college and saw the best thing to do was shower a crime lab with evidence. She could honestly put her whole family away but she didn't want to testify. Knowing that if she overwhelmed certain people with mass amounts of evidence. Her world is becoming more and more unsafe as her family begins to suspect that she is against her family. She refuses to take part in alot of things but she can always find a good excuse. But excuses are running out.



Audition:

Sitting back in the room Vanessa observed the area around her. She sat now in the interrigation room of the police station. How did she managed to muck up this bad. She was transporting evidence and now she had been caught. How was she going to talk her way out of this one. All she could count on was the CSI team of Las Vegas to see that she was honestly not connected to the evidence. She was connected to the people but that was only by blood. She could easy show them that she has no reason to go along with her family but they would ask her to testify. Knowing that she could never get up on the stand and speak against her family she had to do something. She still had her other evidence elsewhere. She still has her bargining chip.

Personality: Alyssa has always got on with people. She tends to get on better with most guys. Alyssa is bubbly unless in a bad mood. She is competative at times. Everytime she feels down she gets a tattoo! She likes to get into trouble but she is good at her job. She understands teengers and preteenagers really well... she knows why they tick, however people her own age are a mystery to her.

Personal History: From a young age Alyssa was always a handful. She grew up with a lower class family life with a stepmom who was jealous of Alyssaand used to hit her and her brother, she tended to hit back though, and a father who didn't see anything but his newest kid, leaving her and her brother out in the cold to find bad friends. She was always smart at school however she never applied herself since it wasn't cool to get A's.
When she was 13 she was sent to Juvie as she was caught joyriding and it turned out to be her that hot wired the car. She was out at 15 and choose to go straight. Once she turned 17 she was out of the house and off to try and get a college schoalership. She failed to do so since she had 13 years of bad track record, Alyssa puts it down to bad karma. However she then got a call from her birth mother, who was from Scotland, UK. She went over to life with her and at 18 she started university.
After she graduated she returned to the States and got a job as a consultant for CSIs, evaluating suspects and such. She soon moved onto the career of CSI and quickly moved up the ranks. She got tranfered to CSI LV dayshift, now she's going over to graveyard since she and Conrad Ecklie had a major fallout. He thinks she and the graveyard shift will suit each other. Has a thing for Nick, but wouldn't admit it!
