Character Form / Audition for the mae-up character Lillith Manners For the "Beyond Chosen" RPG Name: Lillith Isabelle Manners
Sex: Female (Human)
Age: 30
Looks:
Demi Moore as she appeared in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle")Personality: Lillith is particularly intelligent, and incredibly deceptive. Being raised with such high expectations, Lillith expects nothing but the best of herself--and detests being shown up. She is very professional at the office, despite her deliciously evil nature. She is seductive, though she will submit to no man--unless it is a strategic move. She lives life like a chess match, no action is without purpose.
Other: Lillith is very well versed and well read. She is an expert martial artist and is devastatingly effective with a Samurai sword--one which she recently purchased on the Japanese black market that belonged to a vampire Slayer from Okinawa, Japan, constructed of metal that is nearly indestructible. She keeps herself in prime physical condition with a combination of gymnastics and her martial arts regiment. Also, Lillith is aware of who Angel is and his role in her parents death.
History: Since her birth, Lillith Isabelle Manners had been brought up to become a viable instrument for the law firm of Wolfram &Hart. She was born to Holland Manners, the late head of the firm's Los Angeles branch's Special Projects Division, and his late wife. From an early age, Holland and his wife had high expectations of their daughter; enrolling her in advanced classes, and submitting her to a rigorous gymnastics regiment. However, at a tender thirteen, Lillith obtained a student visa and decided to finish her studies abroad in Tokyo, Japan. There, Lillith enrolled with a martial arts master. By the conclusion of her basic schooling, she had graduated in the top 3% of her class and had become an accomplished martial artist and swordsman. Upon her graduation, Lillith traveled to London, England to attend college, and eventually obtain degrees in law and business. During her final year in London, Lillith received the phone call that her parents had been slaughtered in their own home. Lillith was unaffected, her parents had been only parents by biological definition, they had never raised her--her father had his job, and her mother had important social engagements to attend. She didn't return to Los Angeles for the funeral, however, she sent flowers--which she considered sufficient, they were lovely, flawless flowers, she was sure her parents would have been pleased with them. Within the week, Lillith received a call from Wolfram &Hart, informing her that Holland's shares in the company, were now her shares--by inheritance. By way of mild negotiations, Lillith was able to persuade Wolfram &Hart to employ her as the Special Projects division head in Tokyo, Japan--where she was happy. She remained there for several years, commanding much respect from the Tokyo underground cliental. Recently, Lillith received another call from Wolfram &Hart. Their Los Angeles branch needed a new head--since Team Angel's Black Thorn massacre, which meant Angel's firing--and she was being offered the position. She accepted.
AUDITION:Wolfram & Hart's private hanger was located in a remote location on private property just minutes outside of Los Angeles. It was heavily guarded by Wolfram & Hart security, ushering in some of the firm's most prestigious cliental from around the globe.
This day was no exception.
The asphalt landing strip radiated with the desert heat of the hanger, silent air soon ripped apart as the powerful roar of jet engines approached the hanger. Within seconds, a sleek private jet had landed gracefully on the asphalt strip and stopped safely next to the hanger.
A few moments passed, and the door to the plane opened mechanically as a sleek staircase folded out from the jet's side. A sharply dressed chauffeur stood in the wake, ushering a slender female figure down the steps.
The woman was taller, dressed fashionably in a formfitting black slip dress and black stiletto pumps. She held a Samurai sword and case firmly in one hand, a high-class leather briefing folder in the other. She carefully combed back a strand of her long, jet-black hair that was pin straight.
Her name was Lillith Manners. Daughter of the late Holland Manners. She had returned to Los Angeles for several reasons; to take over their branch of Wolfram & Hart, to meet the vampire who killed her parents, and to slowly take over the greater Los Angeles area.
She smirked sincerely as she approached a limousine just off of the landing strip, a driver opening the door for her. "I assume my loft and office are prepared?" She inquired, her tone inadvertently raspy. The driver nodded. "Good. Then to Wolfram & Hart, driver." She replied sincerely, ducking into the limousine as the driver shut the door behind her.
