Title: Grace Academy

Jessica - March 21, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
Micah

Walking down the stairs from his office, Micah held eleven folders in his hands, one for each of the girls he was going to train. One for each of the students coming here to the Academy to live. He took a stance in the foyer, his large musculer chest rising with each breath he took. Standing straight, tall, and waiting, he tapped the folders against his right, long leg, waiting for them to come. Besides, they were already in trouble. They were all late. Unacceptable.

Fiernza Marx

Fiernza came running into the foyer. She was late and she knew it. Surely she wasn't the only one. As she got there, she noticed that none of the others were there either.

Maybe I'm the only one, she thought to herself. Looking around, she knew it couldn't be true. This place was far to big for just her.

Just then, she realized that she still had her cigarette burning in her hand. She looked at the person standing in the foyer with the folders, put it out on her hand and tucked the butt into the pack in her sling bag.

Wonderful first impression, she said under her breath. Extending her hand, she said, "Hi. I'm Fiernza Marx. Is this the right place?"

Jada

Leisurely making her way to the foyer, hands tucked in her coat pockets, Jada looked first before entering the hall. Damn it, one of the first ones here. Now I either look like a goody-goody, or like I actually give a rats. Great. And who is he? Whoever he is, he looks pissed. Wonderful way to start training. He's going to work us until we're dead. Still, being the one of the first ones there was better being the last, or at least she was relatively sure he would feel that way, so she continued into the room.

Jada stopped about the center of the foyer, next to the other girl, unsure about what this guy would want her to do. She simply gave him a nod, not one for talking, and tucked her hands deeper into her pockets, resisting the urge to rock back and forth. While she wasn't uncomfortable exactly, he wasn't putting her at ease, either. That girl probably shouldn't be so friendly with him. He doesn't look like the type for it. Still, better her than me, I always say.

Jessica - March 21, 2006 03:10 AM (GMT)
Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn came running down the stairs and then down the hallway before skidding to a halt as she ran into the room. Two others were already here before her. Great! She was gonna be toast. Shit, what to say, what to say!

"So.... What's up?" she said, before closing her mouth and going with the "be seen but not heard" thing.

Billy Rose - March 21, 2006 03:11 AM (GMT)
Terra

Terra saw the girl run into the foyer quickly and smirked at the tenseness she could see. Terra herself chose to take her time, not at all bothered with making a good first impression. A glance at her watch told her she was running late as well and she found herself yet again annoyed with her grandparents for their long goodbye. Not for the first time she wished that the Grandmaster could be a relative of hers but she squashed the thought quickly - it only diverted her attention from the task at hand.

Her thoughts ceased as she noticed someone else cut ahead of her. Terra resisted the urge to sigh before stepping into the shadows in the back of the foyer and leaning against the wall while waiting for the others - she was sure there were others - to arrive.

annie - March 21, 2006 03:26 AM (GMT)
Jennifer

Jen was late, like all the others she've seen outside before getting in the building herself. The others looked stressed out and pretty excited. For her, it was only a new begginning, not that good because she was away from the one she really loved: her parents.

They were all stressed except one girl who entered right before her. She decided to follow her. Hum.. Much more my kind of girl. Doesn't look like she's excited or else at all she thought. Jennifer holded her huge guy pants and replaced her tang top before going into the room with the other girls. Then, he took place on the wall just beside the other girl that she thought was "normal". She was chewing a gum and realized it probably wasn't quite polite but didn't do anything else about it.

shystarwberry - March 21, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
Mackenzie Fields

Mackenzie glared at Daniel. She should have gotten Christopher to driver her, she would have made it on time then. No, she should have gotten one of her parents to driver her, she would have been early. Why did she let Daniel talk her into letting him give her a ride?

She picked up her small bag, and got out of the car. "I'll talk to you later Daniel." Mackenzie said before closing the car door and heading inside the building before her.

She was late, real late, and that wasn't like Mackenzie. She always made sure she was on time, for whatever she had to do. Turning, Mackenzie saw five girls standing infront of a guy. He looked like he was in charge, and he looked kind of mad. Biting her lip, she stopped walking when she got to the group. Mackenzie ran a hand threw her blonde hair, and looked at each of the girls standing there. She could tell her stay here at Grace Academy was going to be quite interesting.

Venus

Venus was on an edge above the door of the school they were in. She knew that she was late but time was only a word to her. She did a front flip off the stone edge and landed with her knees bent. She opened the door and walked at a medium pace with her shoulders high and that confident smirk across her face. She was the sixth one to arrive and wasn't about to stop jumping up and down to say hi to every one. She stood close the entrance and stood with her tight blue jean pants ripped at the knee and tight brown shirt.

I wonder if that the guy who is going to train us. He doesn't look like he will be able to keep up with me. She judged to hard. To her no one could be trusted so she watched trying to read every ones personalities so that she wasn't surprised when they started to get to know each other.

Billy Rose - March 21, 2006 03:45 AM (GMT)
Terra

The next girl into the room had glanced around momentarily and, after taking a moment to collect herself, walked beside Terra. The grey-eyed girl didn't blink - 'Expect everything and nothing will surprise you, Terra.' She had to fight off the momentary urge to slip into memory if only for the sake of vigilance.

Another girl entered the room - another blonde, Terra noted. Soon after her another girl came in with ripped up jeans and Terra idly wondered if they were old or brand new but pre-ruined. Terra began to study the room in bordum.

dark_phoenix - March 21, 2006 05:38 AM (GMT)
Lara

The door slammed open and the seventh entered, coolly, casually, slowly. Nothing was worth it if it was worth being late for, so she'd just take her sweet damn time. She was fierce and unsmiling, and she raised an eyebrow as she scanned the people around her. The first one was an early bird, she could tell. Too friendly to be a good assassin. Lara looked deep into Fiernza's eyes. Fiernza was a good friend. No assassins could be good friends. She'll never make it. What a screw.

The next girl she observed was seemingly cool and quiet. Hmm. She seemed to possess good judgment. Perhaps she would make it. Lara's fiery eyes barely settled on her before moving to the next girl. A smirk curved her lips. She almost hooted at what she said. Aw, what a shitty loser.

The third, Terra, seemed like Cash, the second girl she had nicknamed. Nobody would fuck with her. Fuck. Fuck seemed to come in at the right time. And the fourth was quieter and more silent than any girl so far. Silence is golden, Lara thought wickedly.

And Mackenzie Fields. Lara did not know her name. She looked like a high achievor, someone who always looked on the bright side. Brighty.

Plus Venus. The last one. Seemed to think everyone was inferior to her. Inferiority, she would call her. Infer.

She silently nicknamed the girls. Screw, Cash, Shithead, Fuck, Golden, Brighty, Infer.

A smile spread across her face

tilmarilrper - March 21, 2006 10:12 AM (GMT)
Tracee

Tracee was walking down the halls of the school, she did not bothered taking in the atmosphere. Things like that barely interested her, they never did and never will. There was a few girls ahead of her, they walked at a little faster pace then her. Then there was a few other girls who ran past her to get to the foyer.

She knew she was late, she would have been on time if she had cared, also would have helped ifshe hadn't picked a fight on they way to the school. Anyone could tell she was in a fight, her knuckles and her left cheek were red. When she finally reached the foyer she noticed that eight other girls were there, all standing infront of a older guy who she assumed was one of the teachers there. She walked up to a wall and leaned her back against it, "Is this it? If it is let's hurry up and get this over with. I'm pretty sure we all got better things to do."

Shayne - March 21, 2006 09:08 PM (GMT)
Shayne Rivers

A backflip, a kick and a forward spinning kick and Shayne had done her training for the morning. She smiled and layed down on the grass as she relaxed her mind and body. Until she realised she was late. Getting up, Shayne ran as fast as she could into the Academy and she saw other girls and slowed down.

"Sorry im late" she grinned sheepishly. "I was training. Not that you care" she added under her breathe

americangrl69 - March 21, 2006 10:17 PM (GMT)
Dakota

Dakota glanced down at the clock in her brother's car. She looked over at him. "Shit Jason! I'm late." Dakota said. She flung the car door open and hopped out of the car before her brother could stop the car. She leaned in quickly. "Thanks for making me late." Dakota snorted. She run up to the building. Why in the world did I let him drive me? He's terrible. Dakota thought, shaking her head as she entered the Academy.

Dakota paused to scan the room of people before her. There were at least ten girls in the room already and a big muscular man standing in front of them. Shit he doesn't look happy. Dakota thought. She walked quietly to the back of the room, silently hoping the man hadn't seen her come in late.

Amanda Soloman - March 21, 2006 10:41 PM (GMT)
Amanda

Amanda started at a fast walk then broke into a fast run, running to get to the room on time. She turned a corner, then another. She wasn't looking where she was going and ran into an open door.

She fell on the floor with a thud, and she could see the door close. She sat up, shook her head, and got up onto her feet. She looked around, making sure nobody saw this embarrassing moment. She started to run, her bag trailing behind her, her hair swirling.

She looked up at a room number and realised it was the number of the room she was supposed to be in. She opened the door and took a seat near the back of the room.

Billy Rose - March 22, 2006 12:56 AM (GMT)
Once again Terra felt a rash of annoyance with her grandparents after a girl came in apologizing for training - not only Terra late and possibly about to be bitched at about it, she had been interrupted during her morning meditation time in lieu of packing.

Terra's eyes flickered between the new comers and wondered how many more girls were expected to come and if they were expected to bunk together. 'This should be an interesting experience....'

Micah

(Note: Although I want you to make these characters your own, please remember Micah is suppose to be built, very sexy but intimatiating. I'm not saying you have to be terrified of him but I don't want all of you to be like, 'Oh, I can take him' either. You can't all be perfect. You aren't all going to hit everything, your going to miss shots, get hit, get taken down, get humilated, etc. Learn to live with that. It's like bootcamp, your picked apart and then you are put back together. Also, basically he gets the basic info from the files he has but the tattoos, the brattiness, sluttiness etc, he all gets from other classfied info and the necklecess and such he sees because he is an expert observer.)

Micah looked at each of the girls, one in turn. Silently, with a deadly look. His eyes gave nothing away, held no emotion and yet you could feel the hint of masculinity and danger around him. He oozed sex appeal like you breathed in air. As he continued to stand there, he continued to tap the folders against his leg.

"So, you all like to be late, I see. We'll begin with the latest and go to the first arrival then, shall we?"

"Good, its settled then," he said and without waiting for a reply from anyone he went on.

"Amanda Soloman, age 17. Parents; Janelle and Bryan Soloman. Siblings; Morgan, Michael. The necklace has to go and so does the bratty attitude."

"Shayne Rivers, age 17. Parents; Jane Rivers and Steven Rivers. Siblings; Sara Rivers, Dana Rivers. Nice tattoo, if you ever decide to mark yourself while you are here, I'll make you wish you were dead, are you clear? There will be no putting marks of any kind of your body, including tattoos while you are here..."

"Tracee Jenson, age 18. Parents; Lyndi Jenson, father unknown. Virtual slut," he said, turning to asses her with a look. "At least you have that going for you."

"Moving on..."

"Lara Carter, age 17. Parents; Lena Simms-Carter and Lar Carter. Siblings; Marjan Carter. So, you have a family history in the field. Then you won't have any problem fitting right in, will you? Or being dropped a peg or two," he commented before going to the next girl.

"Venus Vargas, age 17. Parents; Sergio Vargas, Connie. Siblings; Half-Brother Billy. Nice necklace. Like the ring on it. Leave it in your room the next time you come or I'll take it," he told her, looking directly into her eyes before walking to the next in line.

"Mackenzie Joanna Fields, age 17. Parents; Merideth and Aaron Fields. Siblings; Christopher and Daniel. We have another one in the family business. And who likes to be late. I wonder if your mother was always this late for training?" he asked, not waiting for an answer from her.

"Jennifer Hensin, age 19. Parents; Jack Hensin and Gina Delfo. Siblings; none. I suggest if you are carrying you lose it now. I will not tolerate a piece being brought to my class. So either you leave it or I'll take it from you."

"Terra Madison, age 17. Parents; None, as you live with your grandmother. Siblings; Darrien. I believe I expressed my thoughts of the tattoo issue but I can go over it again if necessary."

"Kaitlyn Travers, age 18. Parents; Unknown. Siblings; None. Interesting. What, you have no past? Don't think for a moment I won't figure you out Travers."

"Jada Anderson, age 19. Parents; Kenneth and Melissa Anderson. Siblings; None. A con artist huh? Well, we'll see how far you can get by here with that. Get into any legal trouble and I'll let you rot in a jail cell."

"Fiernza Marx, age 18. Parents; Sirene Moduka and Mikel Marx. Siblings; Two brothers. Nothing very special about you, is there? I bet there is and I just don't know it yet..."

--

"Jamie Danielle Warren, age 18. Parents; Grant Warren and Isabella Montenegro. Siblings; Trent. Think you are tough, hmm? We'll see how long you last here."

"Lynn, age 18. Parents; Aiko and Vincent. Siblings; Ren. Prankster? There will be no pranks here or you'll be running miles till you drop."

"Elizabeth Spear, age 19. Parents; Alice and Derek Spear. Siblings; None. What is with you girls and tattoos? I don't think I need to repeat myself on this subject? Moving on..."

"Kimi Takosu, age 16. Parents; Megan and Johnathan Takosu. Siblings; Nathan. Make sure the necklace goes..."

"Dakota Spencer, age 17. Parents; Michael and Nicole Spencer. Siblings; Jason. Have a thing for bad boys? Well, you won't find any here since there aren't many other males within a fifty mile radus besides me and I'm not hopping into your bed anytime soon, sweetheart." The sweetheart was not meant to be an endearment either.

---

"Now, there will be no men, no drugs, no smoking, nothing that isn't legal and PG-13. I don't care how old you are! If you're wondering how I know so much about you - don't - just realize I'll find out if you break the rules and if you do, you'll pay and pay big and ... not only will YOU pay but your "buddy" will pay too. A buddy system. Everytime one of you screws up, your "buddy" goes down with you. I think its a great way to develop relationships, one way ... or another. Any questions? Actually, nevermind because we have more important things we need to do. I'm sure, in all your lateness, you missed the duffels over there on the far wall. Small. There are one for each of you. They all are tagged with a name. One per person. Everyone should go, take their things, and fill what they can't live without into it because you won't be staying in the more spacious rooms here. At least not for the next six weeks. No, instead, you'll be be staying in the bunks near the training fields. I think it will help keep you all grounded while you go through the most basic of training. So, I suggest you start packing your stuff in your one duffel because you've only got 10 minutes to do it and then I leave you here. Oh and if you think being left here is a good plan, its really not - there will be no food, no service, no heat, I'll make sure your stay is hell, but cold as ice. So I suggest you all get your asses moving! NOW!"

Gaia - March 22, 2006 01:20 AM (GMT)
Jada

Having simply watched as girl after girl entered, some smoothly, some not so smoothly, Jada kept her focus. She was here for one reason and one reason only: to be the best damn assasian she could be. Period. Oh, and to then go rub it in the face of all the people who had turned her away. So when Micah started talking, she wasn't distracted by the antics of other girls, or her own personal analysis of any of them. She was ready.

Feeling an intense need to smirk as he went down his list, Jada scowled slightly instead and fisted her hands in her pockets, deciding that would be better than smiling at him. It wasn't that Micah provoked humor; it was more that the scrutinizing of each one of them was amusing at times. Even when he got to her. Like I'm going to try and pull petty cons here. I'm not that stupid. We're all here to learn, not screw around anyway. Or else everyone better be, if they know what's good for them. I don't think this guy is going to give an inch on any one of these rules.

When he was finally done, she strolled over to the empty bags, staying cool and calm. Jada didn't have that much stuff anyway, and she didn't want to get stressed out about something as simple as packing her shit. Spotting her name, she yanked it out of the pile, then went swiftly up the stairs to the room they had given her the night before. All of her stuff, excepting the clothes she was wearing and her toothbrush, was still in her suitcase. She took out a few changes of clothes and underwear, the soft, bendable shoes that she used when climbing, and her battered copy of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, then snagged her toothbrush and stuffed it all in the duffel.

Zipping it up, she looked around the room, quickly considering if there was anything else she should bring. Jada decided she was completely packed, so she went back to the foyer, leaving all of the rest behind. None of it was important to her, anyway.

As it seemed she was the first back, which rather irritated her, she just resumed her spot towards the center of the room and waited for everyone else to get done packing.

Terra

Terra pushed off the wall at the order and slipped her backpack off the floor in front of her. As she went forward and waited for the others to grab her bag before grabbing her own. Terra unzipped her backpack and duffle before turning the backpack upside down and spilling the contents of it into the duffle.

Terra rezipped the duffle before moving back to the foyer to wait for the others.

Mackenzie

Mackenzie bit back her retort, no need to piss him off any further today. But all she wanted to say was her mother was always on time, and had taught her punctuality, it just never got threw to her brothers, well, Daniel. After finding out her mother was a trained assassin, she seemed to understand her better. Mackenzie finally understood why her mom would disappear for a little while here and there.

Mackenzie listened to Micah. She was glad she had listened to her mom, when she told her not to bring to much stuff with her. When Micah finished with his speech Mackenzie sighed, and headed over to the duffel bags, and looked for hers. Her mom had told her to bite her tongue around whoever was in charge, and Mackenzie was trying really hard.

When she found her duffle bag, Mackenzie threw in only the things she knew she'd need. Changes of clothes, a picture of her family, her mp3 player, a toothbrush and toothpaste. Mackenzie was surprised to see most of her stuff fit into the bag. Sighing she zipped up the bag and headed to the foyer, slightly afraid of what was ahead of her.

Shayne - March 22, 2006 01:50 AM (GMT)
Shayne

Shayne listened to him speak and knew he was someone to respect even if you hated him. Shayne knew she would have to tread carefully because he meant buisness. Flicking her hair back, Shayne grabbed her duffel bag and placed only a few items. Changes of clothes and underwear and her photo of her family and that was all. She did not need many things while she was here.

Getting up, Shayne walked back to where she had stood while listening to Micah and she looked at him with a cold gaze, her eyes seemed to be filled with fire. She would not slag off, she would be the best she could be. The air seemed to crackle with energy around Shayne. She was eager to get things started and to prove she was not weak

Fiernza Marx

Fiernza chuckled as she went to retrieve her duffel. No smoking...shit! she thought to herself. That was the only thing she had a problem with. Micah hadn't noticed anything special about her. Boy was he in for a surprise. Just watch me. You'll see something special, she thought.

Grabbing her duffel, she realized that it was huge compared to what she had expected. She threw her clothes in along with her treasured notebook and a few other personal items. She had no pictures. She'd learned at a young age it wasn't a good idea to be identified as the daughter of Sirene and Mikel Marx. They weren't horrible people, but there were some magnanomous screws who would love to use her for leverage.

She continued emptying the rest of her bag into the duffel. When she came to her pack of cigarettes, she shot Micah a hopeful gaze. His icy, steel facade oozed, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Slinging her pack over her shoulder, she walked over to the nearest trash can and tossed the box. Just one more thing to overcome, she thought.

Taking her place in front of Micah once again, she studdied the man. He had said there would be no men during the academy. He made her nervous and excited at the same time. As long as I get to look at you, I'll be just fine.

TheEldest - March 22, 2006 05:26 AM (GMT)
Venus

Venus didn't know why he bothered with different duffel bags. Every thing she had fit perfectly in to the bag. All she had was clothes along with the necklace which she wasn't going to give up. She felt his strength when she walked passed Micah he made her spine chill she began to think that he knew what he was doing and wasn't the type she would warm up to during the time they spent there.

She packed up her stuff and walked some where to stand. She stared at micah and he slowly but sternly gestured her to take it off. She got out of his sight and took it off. The then tied it around her hair. Her dad taught her how when she was little so that even if she did take it off it would never get lost. She walked back in the room and just started at the other girls waiting for them to get their act together.

dark_phoenix - March 22, 2006 06:15 AM (GMT)
Lara

Dropping a peg or two? A tongue swiped her chapped lips. It was one of her many indications. No one in her lifetime had read them correctly, if read at all. This indication mostly meant she was unsure of what to say. At hearing his last words, she made her way around the girls there. Was it Screw that had chuckled, had glanced at that guy? Yes. Had she been flirting with him? Hell!

A thin eyebrow arched, stating Lara's amusement. It was the same eyebrow that had been raised when that... guy dissed Dakota. She almost laughed at his last remark... "And I'm not hopping into your bed anytime soon, sweetheart." The guy must have at least a little sense.

Stopping to do a quick one-hand handstand spin to get around Terra, her eyebrows lowered. Terra was her name, eh? Oh, hell with it. She'd still call her Fuck. Ajd that Screw or Fiernza... hm, she didn't know what to do with amusement without Fiernza.

Black jumpsuit. Black clothes. The small diamond earrings that she had hidden so cleverly. A black toothbrush. Toothpaste. Floss. The black James Bond watch she had purchased two years before. Black alarm clock. All these items she loaded into her duffel. Suddenly her hand stopped in her backpack.

She still had that black Desert Eagle. And ammunition. Slowly and carefully she pulled it out. She flipped the gun so that it was pointing towards herself and could do no harm. She showed it to Micah, wondering if even at an assassin school it was not allowed to carry a gun around. Lara licked her lips. After a few moments' time she tossed it in the trash, angrily. It was a beautiful gun and cost her thousands of dollars. She was no thief and would not steal it. Lara bent her had low and continued distributing items into her duffel, avoiding the eyes of the other girls, awaiting her reprimanding from Micah for even thinking of carrying a gun around.

tilmarilrper - March 22, 2006 07:08 AM (GMT)
Tracee

Tracee pushed herself off of the wall she was leaning on. She wasn't too keen on this place, but she didn't let it get to her. The only thing that got to her was that this teacher insulted her out in the open. I'll deal with him later she thought to herself as she went to go get her duffel bag.

As she stuffer her clothes into her duffel bag, she looked around, Eleven of us, good, hopefully I'll be the odd girl out and not have a partner She had thought to herself as she finished up.

She slung the bag over her shoulder and she went over to a wall that happened to be lose to the other girls. She looked around, not thinking any of them would last long in a fight. "So, what's next?" she said to Micah.

SMGAdmirer - March 22, 2006 03:09 PM (GMT)
Fiernza Marx

Fiernza saw Lara pull the gun from her bag. It was a beautiful gun. Fiernza was sure it had probably cost her a lot. Maybe that's why she got so much joy from watching her toss it in the trash.

Lara had appeared to be sizing them all up since she arrived. Fiernza didn't like that. She thought she caught a smirk on her face when Lara looked at her. Don't dismiss me to quick. I can see right through you!

Anyone who had that much black was trying to hard. Of course, you couldn't wear a pink, fluffy bunnies sweater and walk your turn at Grace Academy. But Lara seemed like she was hiding something.

Fiernza knew that just by her looks she had probably been disregarded by all of the other girls. However, that was one of the reasons she had her current gig. No one would suspect someone who looked like her to do what she did.

Just then her cell phone rang. She shot Micah a cautious glance before answering it.

"Hello?...I really can't right now, Markov...No, probably not later either. Look I told everyone that I would be MIA for a while. I had something that I had to do...Go ahead and tell him. All he's going to say is, 'leave the girl alone if she has something she has to do.' Ok Markov, I really gotta get off of her now...Just kill him yourself! Bye!"

At that last line, everyone in the room turned to look at Fiernza. She smirked, nervously.

"Ex boyfriend. He's being a real pain these days!" She laughed nervously, hoping she had convinced the other girls.

dark_phoenix - March 22, 2006 04:56 PM (GMT)
Lara

She could feel Fiernza's eyes drill through her. She longed to give the girl a kick in the ass. However, she controlled her anger. Instead, she concentrated on placing the five huge wads of money she had in her duffel, if ever she needed it. The girls around her were probably regarding her with suspicion right now. Lots of money that came out of nowhere, plus the gun. No, she did not blackmail nor steal nor murder; it wasn't blood money. At least not anymore. She simply had sold the jewels and guns her parents had given her (they were rich) and ended up with near five hundred thousand dollars.

Lara was about to zip the duffel when she felt a vibrating in her side. As soon as she touched her black flip phone she heard Fiernza Marx's own ringing. A halt. Had anyone seen her reach? No one had. Not listening to Fiernza's conversation, she pulled it out to glance at it a little offhandly. Someone had left her a text message--but who?

She was about to look at it when she heard the close of Fiernza's conversation. With... Markov? Strange names these people had. A thin eyebrow raised, out of suspicion as well as amusement. Time is too swift for those who fear, she thought. When they try they fail.

Billy Rose - March 22, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
Terra

Terra moved her eyes to the girl with the cellphone on the first ring. The sound annoyed her to no end but she managed - somehow - not to show it by remaining emotionless.

'Already on the job then... interesting.' Terra thought to herself in mild amusement. Terra turned a piercing gaze around the room while slinking further into the dark part of the room to watch the others more. She noticed the girl dressed in black reach for her pocket out of the corner of her eye. Terra watched her perhipherally as the girl glanced at a phone in her hand. Phone, money, gun - nice gun. Are they all in this already? Terra put her hands in the pockets of the jacket and leaned against the wall behind her while she thought.

SMGAdmirer - March 22, 2006 06:43 PM (GMT)
Fiernza Marx

Fiernza knew she probably hadn't fooled anyone. She shouldn't have answered the phone. She couldn't read anything on Micah's face, but knew that he was probably upset with her for answering.

Markov knew that she was at the academy, as did many of her higher-level bosses. No one else had tried to contact her, so why did Markov have to call...now?

Looking around, she noticed that many of the girls were staring at her. She didn't mind being the center of attention, but she also didn't want to be too showy. Micah might see that as a bad quality in a good assasin.

Fiernza never really cared about what others thought of her. But when it came to Micah, she did care. She wanted to make a good impression and not come across as a burden. She feared that she had already made some key mistakes. No one else was really all that friendly in the academy. They all seemed frightened of each other.

Fiernza was never the type to let fear rule her. It was like her mother always said, "Не будьте испугано быть друг. Держите ваших друзей близким и ваших противников более близких. Вы никогда не знаете могло быть меткой." No one would know what that meant but her. She had always had a very good command of the English language, but her mother preferred her own native Russian.

Looking at each of the girls as they finished packing, Fiernza smiled. This is going to be interesting I can tell.

Amanda

"Uh...excuse me, Teacher-man-guy-thing. I don't think you understand, this necklace and I, are like this." She said, crossing her fingers. "And I have never taken it off since like, four years ago." Amanda said, rolling her eyes at the teacher. She usually did this, since she was a spoiled brat.
"And, how do you know all that about me?" She asked, surprised and kind of scared. "Are you stalking me?" Amanda said, smiling a little.

The room was silent--so silent that she could hear her heartbeat hammering in her head. Tiny beads of sweat began to form and drip down her forehead, and an excruciating pain seared through her head, leaving her to scream inwardly, inside. What was happening? Was this all a dream? Or was she truly at Grace Academy with a handful of other girls? Her eyes began to glaze. What was this searing pain that was in her head? Had she imagined it, or was it real? She punched at her arm, wincing slightly at the added pain. Yes, this was real.

She rubbed her forehead, her eyes reflecting the pain she was feeling. Confusion added a weight on it. What was this indescribable pain? She could not say. She hid a laugh as Amanda began talking to the teacher, but that did not help. A migraine. She reached deep into her backpack and felt for the meds she knew was there. Aspirins. She felt the container, pulled it out, and swallowed the aspirins, her inward pain lessening only a little.

Terra could feel her face go blank at the girl who spoke. The girl was either thick, or stubborn. Or both. Terra moved her gaze back to the girl in black. Terra wracked her brain for a name and finally came out with Clara or something like that. The dark-haired girl punched herself in the arm and Terra watched as she dug around in her bag for something. A few moments later a bottle of aspirin was removed and the girl downed some of the pills. Terra filed that away in her mind for later.

Micah

His eyes shifted to the girls that talked, "I'm not stalking anyone and if I have to repeat myself about the the necklaces, the guns, or phones, money -- everyone else you may have -- stays here." He said it without raising his tone and evenly but got his point across. "I don't care who you left behind or who you were before or who you thought you were or think you're going to be... just what I can make you. Get your crap, and get walking towards the front gate, no more questions, the guns stay, so does all the jewelry, and the cash, and any commincators, and anything else. And if I find anything else like it later, you'll pay with your hide."

Kimi Takosu

Kimi blinked in surprise.'No heat, no room..'she thought.'10 minutes.....oh shit!'she thought as she ran over, grabbed her duffel bag and went to go fill it everything she couldn't live without. When she reached her room, she began grabbing everything she would need; knives; bras; clothing; some food; water; a warm blanket; a pillow; ext.'Wow!'Kimi thought, 'This thing IS small....'

She sighed when she picked up a photo of her parents. She then decided to grab it and then stuffed it in the duffel bag as well. She looked around the room.'Nothing I can't live without...'she thought as she walked slowly back to where Micah McAsshole was.

Kimi looked at him."Why does the necklace have to go?"she muttered as she looked from him to Amanda and back again.

The stillness of the room seemed to worsen her pain, yet she swallowed no more aspirins. She placed the container in her duffel and zipped it up, sensing someone watching her. She whipped around and saw only Fuck. Relaxing, Lara remembered her birthname. The one thing that Micah probably didn't know about her. It couldn't be in the files--she had been a renegade for as long as she had remembered. The streets had hardened her only weeks after she gave herself a normal name. Yet it was not a normal name. She had renamed herself so many times and only remembered two names--her original name, Seven, and the name she changed it to, Tempest, until she finally gave herself a normal name--Lara.

Seven. She longed to be called Seven again, yet it was a morbid name, an abnormal name. Many would suspect her to be an assassin--assassins would change their names to something abnormal. She was an assassin, and she hated to be found out. Lara was forced to be Lara, not Seven. And yet a horrible pain ceased as she repeated the name over and over, silently. Seven. Seven. Seven.

She began walking toward the front gate with the duffel slung over her shoulder. Then his words were repeated over and over. Finally she zipped her duffel open, grabbed the five wads, and threw them in the trash from where she stood. "Score," she said softly. Then she continued walking toward the gate.

Terra

Terra watched the wads of money drop into the trash can with a keen but uninterested eye. Apparently the girl had enough sense not to disobey the - teacher? sensei? Terra had no idea what to call him but the phrase, 'hardass' floated through her head.

A pang to be sitting in the Grandmaster's garden - meditating, practicing, even talking about how school was going - ran through her. He was a hardass too, but she learned to tolerate it - he had still managed to get under her skin at times, but she fared far better than the trend setting yuppies that were constantly in and out of the classes who complained every step of the way.

She suppressed the memories yet again. It wouldn't do any good to dwell on the past now that she was here. The present was much more important for the time being - there would be time enough later.

Venus

Venus was already done packing, although she wasn't ready to leave until the others were packed. If she was going to get the upper hand above these retched girls she needed to know their weaknesses and their strengths. So far all of their weaknesses were that they underestimated every one. She learned not to do that growing up with people who would surprise you at every turn. When she saw Lara with a gun she knew instantly she was the better fighter. She didn't need a gun to fight her battles nor would she need them. Every thing she needed to be the best damn assassin at the school was her brains.

As for Micah she was scared of his strength. She knew that for her own sake she would have to wear her mother’s necklace around her waist. She was that skinny she had done it once when her and her brothers had to sneak in to a jail one night to bust out her childhood friend. When she was out of sight she hid her necklace under her shirt and walked back in. Venus walked right passed and threw him a glance. Not one of those, I'm not afraid glances, but, I'll listen to you, glances. She walked toward the gates and met up with Lara.

Kimi Takosu

Kimi sighed, rolled her eyes and unclasped her necklace from her neck very calmly, though inside she was fuming.'Dammit, if I want to wear my necklace, I'll wear my friggin' necklace!'she thought as she shoved the necklace in her back right pocket.

But she knew that she couldn't punch Micah, Nathan really wouldn't approve.Of coarse, he wouldn't exactly approve of her going here in the first place....but that wasn't the point!'Was it?'Kimi wondered to herself, then snapped outta her dreamstate.

Kimi then smiled inwardly. He hadn't said anything about knives though, had he?'No....'she thought happily.Kimi looked at the other girls around.'Well, they don't look too thrilled to be with this guy either,'Kimi thought.'Hell, I'd take shoveling shit over this guy........I should make up a nickname that only I call him, but behind his back!''Wow, I do have mood swings....'

Lara

She was sitting down, her head leaned back against the bars of the gate. Her eyes were closed--she was listening. Just listening to nature itself, absorbing it, becoming it. Suddenly her eyes flew open at hearing shoes crunch on the leaves. She got up, fists clenched, but at realizing it was just Venus she fell onto the ground again in a sitting position. Her chapped lips were bleeding. She licked the blood on them before looking at Venus, a faraway expression in her eyes.

"So who are you?" she asked crudely. As most assassins were she was alert and at the ready, even if she looked distant, untrusting, even. Her eyes drilled into Venus's, angered eyes. At reading the expression in Venus's eyes she got up, her own blazing fiercely. As most of the girls were, Venus clearly thought she was best. Though she was not suspicious in appearance, Lara was intimidating in a way no one could really describe. Suddenly the fire in her eyes reduced until it was simply cold. She'd watch out for this 'Venus.' Yet revenge was a dish best served cold...
