Title: House

House
Dr. Gregory House sat in his office, feet propped up on the chair. He was laying back on the carpeted floor of the glass-enclosed office, earphones on as he bounced a rubber ball in his hands. The cases today were fairly light, with the exception of a few strange cases in the clinic. But that weirdness was nothing new.
Pangs of Rosey's 'Love' slipped into his ears as he had his eyes shut, head rolling back and forth slightly with the mellow music. "Love, I am so different..." he mumbled along with the music. He certainly could just cut loose, but then again, what sort of respectable doctor would do that?
He asked himself as he lay on the floor of his office.

Cuddy
Dr. Lisa Cuddy was in a tizzy. Funders were starting to question her abilities. Her loyalty to certian programs with little results as well as certain doctors who didn't fit the profile. She had had enough of fighting for House, the excuses the tiring feuds. If only he wasn't such a good doctor my life would be a lot easier, she said to herself walking through her hospital file folders in her arms.
She passed House's office and did a double take. That was it she had enough. With her file folders in tow, she opened the glass door and put her hand on her hip.
"It's good to know that you are so focused on saving lives. Go do something productive. There's more than enough clinc patients for you to see." She yelled so he could hear her over his music.

House
House looked to see Cuddy come into his office. Their own past was something... sordid, but he took no end in delighting, er, torturing her without saying anything about it.
"My dear Dr. Cuddy... come a little closer so I can look up your dress..." he grinned without changing his expression. "Oh, I am working, Cuddy... I'm thinking. You need to relax to think about this case... very tough..."

Cuddy
"Only in your pathetic little dreams will you see up my dress. Get a life House, preferably one with a maturity level beyond a 13 year old puberty smitten boy." She growled shaking her head.
"Think and move at the same time." Cuddy added.
"If you continue to stare out into space I'm just going to have to give you more cases. Lord knows we have enough." She said motioning to the many folders in her hands.

House
"Hmmm..." House said, awkwardly getting himself up from the floor. He grabbed his cane, pressing it to one side as he walked over by Cuddy, heading for the door.
"There was a time you gladly showed me what was up your skirt, doctor..." he smirked. "And I'm thinking that you want to again very soon. But you know, my harem of women is already full..."
Snarky remarks done, he hobbled past her and out of his door that was engraved with his name.

Wilson
Seeing House coming out of his office with his trademark scowl was nothing new to Wilson. In fact, it was so commonplace that Wilson could do nothing but laugh. Unfortunately, when he did, House usually noticed him at about the same time.
“Can’t you ever find something nice to say to her? Ever? You know she can totally mess with your schedule at any given time? And when she does, I’m not going to be able to defend you.”

House
The same scowl was replaced by the closest thing to happiness to see a friend that Greg House had. It still looked like the same scowl.
"I said something nice - that I wanted to look up her dress. She told me she wore the granny panties today." He hobbled along, looking back at her with a smile. "But she looks better in a thong." House's head turned towards Wilson.
"Wasn't that nice? I think that was nice."

Cuddy
Cuddy simply rolled her eyes leaving his office pushing the door a little harder than she needed to. She just didn't need to deal with him right now, the files in her hands reminded her of much more important things to be done.
"Dr. Wilson." She nodded to him, ignoring House completely. Despite all of the meetings and all of the talks she had with Wilson she understood him less than his best friend. House was grumpy and there was a reason. But Wilson, the seemingly golden boy, she just didn't understand what made him tick. Or why the hell he was friends with House in the first place. None of her questions about him mattered however. He was a good doctor and in her hospital that’s all that matters.
Walking back to her office she silently asked any deity listening to give her a peaceful afternoon. She knew it was futile.

House
"She's hot for me..." House whispered conspiratorially, leaning closer to Wilson. He quickly straightened up, giving him a look. "So how are the home fires? Everything still burning back at home? Or is it burning down?" He blinked for a moment. "There's a Simple Minds song in there somewhere..."
He pushed open the door to the Clinic, preparing to do his requisite 4 hours of duty for the week.
