The Operative

One of the few pleasures in life that he did do, was that of cleaning and polishing of his sword. His sword was infront of him as he was in a neeling with his torso upright. For it was made from a particular element similar to that of iron called foluentin, which is mined from some distant world. The hamon, the temper line, was a nice uneven and imperfect line, which represented that it had been made by a human, something that too was imperfect, hand.

Upon completion he placed the blade back into the scaboard like it was made of glass, worth more than its weight in what ever was the most precious element it was these days. And he then arose to his feet. In some older cultures, the long sword was placed at the door of the house and the shorter one was carried around freely in the the house. But for him it was not the case, for he had no place to call 'home'.

Upon rising to his feet he walked out of the room inwhich he was cleaning and polishing his sword within, to a hallway of an Alliance faculty. He took a quick look up and down the hall and then turned to the right and started to walk down the hall. He had just finish have a break and was now on his way to be of use, to be of service to those who need him to get particualar things done. This things require his skill and expertise. For he was an operative of the Alliance. And was creating better worlds.
