History For the past 10 generations, all the women in Giselle's family have died by their 21st birthday. The only way the line is continued is if they reproduce before then. The fathers of the girls raise them or they are sent to orphanages to be adopted. Her line is cursed and has been by an evil and vicious warlock who wanted the first gypsy woman as his bride but she refused him and so he cursed her to die and all those after her. It is said that an ordained powerful witch, one which none compares to, will protect a gypsy and risk its life for her to break its curse. However, the fine print that you don't read is that for this to work, they must be in love, or whoever it is that tries to save her will die as only true love can truly break the curse. Luckily, when this happened, Wyatt was in love with her and when he went to save her, he got hit with numerous energy balls. He was thought dead until with a kiss by Giselle, he awoke, and looked at his chest that was unharmed.

She is a strong leader, who knows how to keep her subordinates in line without making them feel like second-class citizens. Pride knows of her white-witch heritage, but has no interest in turning from evil.
History: The youngest child of Piper and Leo, Pride, born Melinda Halliwell, was stolen from the Halliwell manor by The Triad when she was only a few months old. They managed to do what Gideon could not: entrap, keep, and turn a Charmed One’s child to the side of evil. Born with Piper’s Temporal Stasis power, and Leo’s Whitelighter gifts, Pride was stripped of her witch inheritance, and her Whitelighter powers were warped into those of a Darklighter. She was also made to hate her family, not only because they were good, but because the Triad convinced her that none of them ever searched for her, ever tried to bring her home, though it was untrue. Piper, Leo, and her aunts had spent years trying to find her, but were killed before they could save Pride.
After years of training and control, she was gifted with a power they called Searing Pain, which allows her, with a bit of concentration, to make any person or being be consumed with intense, debilitating pain. They showed her how her power would feel to others before giving it to her; it almost drove her insane. She survived, however, and eventually broke free of the Triad’s domination. Pride then went aboveground and opened her restaurant, mainly just to have a place of her own.
