Christine Owen

The trip to the drama academy had been a long one for Christine. But it was not long just because of the distance from Massachusetts. No, it was long because she had all that time to think about how she was going to be away from her family. Even though she had graduated from high school, she felt nothing like a true adult in some ways. She truly didn't think she was ready to leave home just yet even if it was to pursue a dream. Her parents had both reassured her that her brother, Fox, would only be a few blocks down the road at the music academy so that made her feel a little better. But he was not going to be with her at the drama academy with the other students that she didn't know.

She had hugged Fox warmly when he had stepped out of the car and headed into the neighboring music academy. And then she knew it would be her turn next. She tried to be brave and not shed a tear as she exchanged hugs with her parents and then watched them drive away leaving her standing with her wheeled luggage and duffle bag.

She let out a sigh and then made her way up the steps and to the front door where she saw sign with an arrow that read:

All new students report to the theatre for orientation

After reading the sign, she followed the arrows until she reached the theatre. She then carefully opened the door and walked in taking a seat.

Angelica Bloom

Angelica turned up her car radio and began to sing along as Bon Jovi blasted from the speakers.

Its my life an its now or never,
I don't wanna live forever
I just wanna live while I'm alive

Then she heard her cell phone ringing, and pausing the CD she quickly answered it.

Speak to me she said in to the phone

Hey sweetie it's Sam, i tried to catch you before you left but i guess i missed ya

Oh hey Sam she said, yeah i left early so i had plenty of time to find the place, but the trips been pretty straightforward and i should be there in about 10 minutes

thats good, her sister replied well i'll let you go then, ring me later to let me know how you're settling in

I will sis, love you bye She said as the phone hung up.

She hit play on the CD and continued to sing along

Its My life

A few minutes later she saw a sign Drama Accademy with an arrow pointing left. she, she made a left turn and saw a large building at the end of the street.

She pulled up the driveway and found the car park.

Aftr parking her car she hopped out and looked around

* Nice place * she thought

she opened the trunk and grabbing her luggageheaded out of the car park, she saw a sign

New students report to the theatre

and followed it.

Arriving at the theatre she found a seat, sat down and began to ponder what her time at the drama accademy would bring and more importantly what her roommate would be like.

phantom - March 29, 2006 04:13 PM (GMT)
Noah's top lip curled in anger as he sat on a brick wall, not far from the Drama Academy;

"Yeah well mate, I need my luggage, understand? I'm not... What? What do you mean? Did I look like a terrorist? No, I'm not, so don't give me the we-thought-you-had-a-bomb marlakee. Listen, I don't care, I just want it ASAP, yes? Right."

Hanging up, Noah pouted, biting his bottom lip and looking to his right, then to his left. Just arriving from the airport, the last thing Noah had wanted was to lose his luggage. Instead of sleeping overnight at the airport, he had decided to introduce himself to the Academy, explain his predicament, score some hunnies, and leave for his luggage. Acting could wait; as long as he had his wifebeaters and leather jackets, he'd be fine.

Standing up, he began to head to his destination at a brisk pace, following the sign's when he reached his goal, and was lead into the theatre. Currently there was only a couple of people, and with both of them looking extremely pretty, Noah decided to stand in between the two of them, and play a game of enney-meeney-miney-mo.

"I have a feeling I'll do ok here." He breathed, in his thick Scottish accent, winking at one girl, and running his tongue over his sharp white teeth.

angelea - March 29, 2006 05:30 PM (GMT)
Angelica sat in the theatre singing Lithium by Nirvana in her head

*I'm so happy 'cos today i found my friends, they're in my head
I'm so ugly, thats ok cos so are you we broke our mirrors
sunday mornin is everyday for all I care,
Light my candles in a daze cos i found God.
*

She noticed someone else enter the room and looked up to see the very attractive young man stood not fr from where she was sitting. she looked away and continued singing away to herself

*I'm so lonely, that's ok I shaved my head and I'm not scared
And just maybee i'm to blame for all i've heard, but im not sure
I'm so excited I can't wait to meet you there and I don't care
Im so horny thats ok my will is good *

After a while in complete silence Angelca decided that she'd go over and introduce herself, she left her lugage where it was and headed over to the attractive stranger.

Hey she said smiling I'm Angelica

phantom - March 29, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
Noah smiled, winking and turning his attention away from the other girl, focusing on this more outgoing woman;

"Well hey there pretty lady, couldn't resist me huh? I don't blame you" He said, whispering this last part in her ear, seductively brushing her hair away from her face. "I'm Noah" He added, grinning and kissing her hand.

"And I must say, it is a pleasure to meet such a fine young woman such as yourself Angelica."

Christine Owen

Christine glanced over at the young man who had walked into the theatre. When he had winked at her, she had completely ignored him. It was just like it was in high school when it came to boys, she had no interest. She would have actually spoken to him had he not taken on that flirting attitude. And now especially that he was obviously doing that with the other girl that had walked in. Turned away from them, she rolled her eyes.

She cleared her throat and walked over to a seat. Opening her duffle bag, she then pulled out an operatic arias book. Taking her reading glasses out, she then proceeded to thumb through it until she found The Doll Song from Les Contes D'Hoffman. Her teacher had assigned it to her before she left and so she decided to glance through the french words.

angelea - March 29, 2006 07:07 PM (GMT)
*charmer* Angelica thought as she looked at Noah.

The she heard a cough in the background and turned around to see another girl sitting reading a book, she looked kinda uptight and Angelica pondered for a moment about wheter or not to go over and say hi.

The other girl seemed engrosed in her book and Noah seemed far more interesting to Angelica at that moment in time so she ignored the other girl and turned back to Noah.

So Noah she said flicking her hair flirtaciously where u from?

Taylor Teague

Taylor sat in her mother's small car, taping her fingers impatiently on her leg. "You stay out of trouble Taylor." Her mother's voice broke the silence that had settled between them.

"Don't worry mom. I won't cause any problems. I'll be a little angel." Taylor smiled at her mom.

"See that's what I'm scared of."

"Me being a little angel?"

"No, your smile." Taylor laughed at her mother's comment before looking out the car window. She felt her excitement rise when the Academy came into view. "I can't believe I'm letting you go to school here." Her mom mused as they pulled up to the academy. "It's so far away from home."

"Mom, you don't need to worry about me. I'll be fine, and I'll call you alot. Let the others know I'll be calling them too."

"I will." Her mom sighed, parking the car infront of the front entrance to the school. "I love you Taylor."

"I love you too mom," Taylor replied as she got out of the car. She walked to the trunk, as her mom popped it open from inside of the car. Taylor pulled out her two duffle bags and closed the trunk. As she walked towards the front door, she turned slightly and waved goodbye to her mom, as she pulled away from the academy.

Once Taylor was at the front door she noticed a sign, 'New students report to the theatre'. She made her way threw the front doors, looking for the theatre. After a few minutes she found it -with the help of arrows that showed the way. Walking into the theatre she glanced around, there weren't many people there yet. Taylor weighed her options, sit down and start a conversation, or let someone else strike up a conversation with her. She decided to just sit and wait for someone to start a conversation with her. Taylor put her stuff down and sat near the back of the theatre.

Dana - March 30, 2006 02:14 AM (GMT)
Desdemona Rinoa

Desdemona's high heels clicked against the tile floor of the hallway. She held a map in her right hand, while her left hand swung slightly forward and back. The map said the theatre should be to the left once she turned into this next corridor. Taking her eyes from the map, she quickened her pace. When she turned right down another corridor, two large oak doors stood before her.

Desdemona reached down for the brass handle, her reddish-brown hair flopping into her eyes as she did so. She quickly shoved a strand of hair behind her ear and pulled open the door. Before her was a huge auditorium. The room was filled with comfy red chairs and had a long staircase of black stairs leading down to the front of the auditorium. She crumpled up the map and tossed it on the floor, then began to make her way down to the front.

She strided confidently down the stairs until she reached the bottom. Seeing nobody else there, she took a seat in the very front rows. She crossed her right leg over her left, and folded her hands in her lap. Then she placed a slight smirk on her face. She impatiently waited for somebody else to appear.

Christine Owen

As Christine continued to look at her notes she noticed two other people walk into the theatre out of the corner of her eye. Raising her head, she saw as one of the females walked to the very front of the theatre and sat down.

Well, she obviously doesn't mind about not being around others.

She then saw the other girl take a seat in the back not too far from her. Not wishing to be a prude, she lowered her aria book and glanced over at her. "Hi." She replied softly with a smile. "I'm Christine."

shystarwberry - March 30, 2006 05:11 AM (GMT)
Taylor

Taylor leaned forward in her seat and looked at Christine Smiling she said, "Nice to meet you Christine. I'm Taylor."

Taylor extended her hand out to Christine. She might as well start making some new friends, becaues she wasn't going to be seeing her friends back home anytime soon. Taylor knew she was going to miss everyone back home, but she knew she was going to love it here at the same time. She also knew that her sisters and parents were going to be trying to get ahold of 24/7, because they were all worry worts. So she knew they were going to tell her everything to miss.

Dana - March 30, 2006 02:38 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Christine reached out her own hand shaking Taylor's. "Nice to meet you too, Taylor. I know for me personally, coming to a new place can be overwhelming which is why I try and make as many friends as I can. As you can tell from what I just said, this is my first year here. Have you been here before?"

She was starting to completely forget now about the incident she observed earlier between the young man and woman.

phantom - March 30, 2006 05:16 PM (GMT)
Noahs ears pricked at the voices coming from behind him. Looking to Angelica, his lip trembled, somewhere between an apology and a quick goodbye;

"Can I get a raincheck on this conversation Angelica? I just want to introduce myself to those ladies over there. Come with me if you like." He grinned at her, softly touching her hand before leaving.

Striding over to the two girls who had begun a conversation, he excused himself, and offered a smile to them both;

"Sorry you had to see that performance. I'm Noah."

The one with the book in her hand interested him far more than the others, her natural hatred for the opposite sex shining through. If he wanted to get lucky with her, he'd have to act as unatural as possible.

With a couple of other girls walking by and winking at him, Noah sensed he would feel right at home at the Academy.

Dana - March 30, 2006 07:09 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Christine turned to Noah. "A performance?" She asked giving him a look. "Is that what that was back there? And here I thought we weren't supposed to start classes until tomorrow. It appears some of us are already getting a head start. You should no doubt dazzle the professors with your....acting ability."

angelea - March 30, 2006 09:16 PM (GMT)
Angelica was annoyed at the way Noah had just walked off mid conversation,

*He deffinitley has potential * she thought *I'll just have to try a little harder*

She looked over to where Noah was satnding with the other girls wondering whether or not to follow him.

Not being one to miss out on the action and deciding that now was as good a time as any to introduce herslef to her classmates she walked over.

Hey She said smiling I'm Angelica

mingus03 - March 30, 2006 10:15 PM (GMT)
Lynn Richards

Lynn walked slowly through the theatre doors, her hands shaking from nerves. She took in a deep breath as her hand rested on the door. She stopped before she pushed it open and closed her eyes, praying silently that everything would go ok and that she would be accepted. She finally pushed through the door and looked around the huge theatre, her eyes gaping a bit.

"Am I interrupting anything?" she called to the other students as she walked a bit further in.

phantom - March 31, 2006 04:21 PM (GMT)
Noah opened his mouth to utter a "sincere apology" but was soon interupted by Angelica. Giving a small smile to her, and looking back to the other girl, he wiped the smile from his face, and spoke with a noble look upon his face;

"I am sorry. What have you got there? Light reading?"

Hoping to make conversation with her, Noah found himself becoming quite perplexed by this new woman's ignored potential. Shy yes, but cocky in her own way, sweet and infuriating all at once.

It was unusual to meet women such as these - all so new and interesting. Of course, it would not all be about women. There was studies also, no matter how much of a player he was, he could not forget this.

Dana - March 31, 2006 05:54 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Christine looked back at Noah as she adjusted her reading glasses. "It's music if you must know, opera. An aria called Les ouiseax dans la charmille from Les Contes D'Hoffman by Offenbach. My voice teacher assigned it to me to learn. But opera is probably out of your genre isn't it? Foreign languages and all singing?" She gave him a smirk.

She then looked at the other young lady who had come upon them. "Oh no, you aren't interrupting anything at all." She gestured to Noah. "He was just....demonstrating some of his...acting abilities." She held out her hand to Lynn. "I'm Christine, Christine Owen."

She then looked at Taylor. "This is Taylor."

She gestured to Angelica. "And I think...her name is Angelica?" She still didn't care too much for Angelica with how she was opening flirting with Noah but she still wasn't going to be rude to her in front of the students.

mingus03 - March 31, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
Lynn

"Lynn Richards." Lynn said with a small smile as she shook hands with Christine. She stood there nervously as she looked at all the other students. Her eyes darting from each. She could already tell by the aura in the room that all of them had very very good acting abilities.

phantom - March 31, 2006 06:15 PM (GMT)
Noahs eyes were alight, the sapphire pools staring at Christine with wonder. She doubted him? She saw one weak moment on his behalf and now he was being judged. Feeling a need to prove himself, he took Christine's hands in his, no longer caring if he was slapped across the face, and pulled her into the middle of the hall, and opened his mouth, his beautiful singing voice reverberating across the hall;

"La notte affila, innalza ogni sensazione. . . L'oscuritŕ mescola e sveglia l'immaginazione. . .
Silenziosamente i sensi abbandonano le loro difese. . . Lentamente, gentilmente di notte unfurls il suo
splendore. . . Afferrarlo, percepirlo - tremante e tenero. . . Girare la sua faccia lontano dalla luce di
garish di giorno, girare i suoi pensieri lontano dal freddo, unfeeling la luce - ed ascoltare la musica della
notte. . . "

Then, taking a deep breath said; "Music of the Night, in Italian of course. Just a little something to keep you going."

And with that, he released her and walked back over to the group, smiling and asking if anyone had been here before.

Dana - March 31, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Christine had been completely taken by surprise as Noah grabbed her arm and then dragged her to the middle of the theatre. "What are you doing? Let go of me!"

She started to struggle against his hold on her hands. And then she heard his singing voice. She knew some Italian from her vocal studies but was hardly an expert. However she did know the melody of Music of the Night like the back of her hand. She had heard it sung in German before but not Italian.

She was completely transfixed as he sang to her. She had never heard anything quite like his voice before. Everything else around her seemed to fade into the background. She forgot that she was basically standing in front of everyone there in the theatre. She was absolutely speechless as he finished and then left her standing there.

It was obvious to her that she had been wrong about him. That he may have been a flirt but he was more than that. Was she trembling? She shook her head. No, she couldn't let this affect her. And then she heard the applause coming from the stage which made her realize where she was.

"Bravo!"

Christine blinked her eyes for a moment, still trembling. She then went up the aisleway avoiding all the stares at her and ran through the double doors and into the hallway. She then walked over to a corner to regain her composure as she took deep breaths.

phantom - March 31, 2006 07:34 PM (GMT)
Noah was was only vaguely aware of the applause coming from the stage - the doors that were shut by Christine made him jolt, and for a split second he was in awe. His eye's lowered to the floor, and focused on Christine's aria book. Bending down he scooped the text and took to the hallway, nodding politely at the one's on the stage who had applauded him.

It was not hard to find Christine, her heavy breathing giving her position away, her pale face turned pink. Noah tilted his head and walked over to her, putting the book in her hand and holding his hands in a prayer position;

"Forgive me, I did... I did not mean to embaress you. I feel ashamed."

His words were true this time, nothing false in his face of voice. Something in him was screaming she was different to other people and that he just might find something from her he had been searching for, for a very long time.

Dana - March 31, 2006 07:47 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Christine felt something in her hands and looked down to see her aria book in her hands. She then raised her head to see Noah standing there.

Oh god he can't see me like this!

She cleared her throat. "Don't feel ashamed. I doubted that you knew anything about foreign languages and you proved me wrong by singing in one. And you...judging by the reaction from the stage have no doubt impressed all the faculty with your singing. It should....give you quite a reputation with them now. Your success is no doubt assured here now."

phantom - March 31, 2006 07:52 PM (GMT)
Noah disregarded this completely. Of course he dreamt of nothing but success, but right now, all he wanted to do was hear her sing. He would do anything just to hear her sing - the suspence killing him. Stepping back he leaned against the wall, silent, just looking at her. Twitching his lips he stood straight again and sang softly;

"Sing once again with me, our strange duet,
My power over you, grows stronger yet."

"Do you know it?" He asked, once he had finished singing. "I saw your face light up when I sang Music of the Night. Do you know the Phantom of the Opera? Sing for me?"

Blunt as a spoon, Noah cared not for small talk, tip toeing about this - he needed to hear her sing.

Dana - March 31, 2006 08:18 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Her mouth nearly dropped as he started to sing to her once again. Was this really happening? She had been so cold and cruel to him in the theatre basically putting him down in front of all the other girls. And yet here he was out in the hallway singing to her. And what was he singing....only a role from her favorite musical!

Keep you head! Keep your head! Don't try and let him know how this is affecting you!

"Phantom of the Opera? Of course I know it. It was only my inspiration for singing." She glanced around the hallway. "You...you want me to sing for you? Here? Now?"

Well, since he did sing for you, it's only fair.

She took a deep breath and then sang in her soprano voice:

"Your sprit and my voice in one combined,
The phantom of the opera is there....inside my mind."

She shook her head. "I'm...I'm sorry, I didn't get a chance to warm up yet today. I didn't exactly plan on singing this morning."

Dana - March 31, 2006 09:21 PM (GMT)
Mr. Stephens

A man walked over to a podium at the front of the theatre stage. “Well, I can certainly tell after the performance that was just heard that we do have some talent evident already for this year.” He smiled. “Anyway, I would just like to take the time to welcome you all to Over the Rainbow Dramatic Academy. My name is Mr. Stephens and I am the head and owner of the academy. As you know, Over the Rainbow is very selective in whom they choose to attend it and that is why you are here. You are here because you have some kind of talent related to dramatics that we see potential in. It is our job as professors to see that you fulfill that potential or at least try and get you there. It is ultimately your choice if you wish to improve your talent, we can’t make you. But we hope while attending Over the Rainbow that you will pick up skills that will also help you in your everday life. In the end, if you leave whether it be of your own free will or because of your failure to meet requirements, we shall not hold it against you. For there is always someone else on our list to take your place. You may find that our rules here may be strict but that is because we are an educational institution and you must be focused on your studies. The rules that I speak of are in the packet that shall be given to you at the end of this meeting.” He cleared his throat. “Now, at this time, I should like to introduce our faculty to you.”

He motioned to the first man on his left. “This is Mr. Gray. He’s in charge of our Opera Workshop and voice and movement class.”

He motioned to the woman next to Mr. Gray. “This is Miss Caine. She is in charge of our Shakespeare Workshop and History of Drama class.”

He motioned to another man next to Miss Caine. “This is Mr. Bell. He is in charge of our Dramatic Plays Workshop and Language of Dramatics class.”

“Each of your professors will also take the time to introduce themselves to you in class as well as any other assistants they may have. We merely wished to associate you with them. On the first day, we find it easier that we introduce ourselves and then allow the students to acquaint themselves with the academy as well as one another if they choose. We find it makes it much easier for them to come to class the next day. Now, at this time we shall have you come up to the stage and pick up your packets which contain a map of the academy, along with your room assignments and class schedules. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow in class. Please feel free to stop by the administration office should you have any questions.” He then acknowledged the theatre before walking away from the podium.

OOC: Figured I would get this post up so that all the students could move and start off where they wanted to go! :P

phantom - April 1, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
Noah stood there, blinking several times before trying to come with something witty, just to break the ice.

"What you so shy about freckles? You got talent girl."

He didn't want to tell her how he had felt when she sang, her voice so angelic and pure. Even Kelly Clarkson didn't have the same effect on him, and she was hot. Noah's ears pricked as he heard voices coming from inside the theatre, male at that; apparently they were ready to get started;

"We should, y'know. Go. I'll, I want to see you again. Well, what am I saying? You think I'm a prat."

And it was true - all of it. He had just embaressed her in front of her piers, why would she want to see him now? Noah was too cocky for his own good, but he didn't ignore the aftermath of his actions.

He exited the hallway, before Christine could call him back - jogging into the theatre and looking to the stage, taking an overdramatic bow to the man at the front looking at him, and winked.

Dana - April 1, 2006 02:28 PM (GMT)
Mr. Gray

"And so you are deserving of that bow." Mr. Gray replied with a smile. "I usually don't hear students until the first week of class. I must admit that was quite a surprise." He held out his hand. "My name is Mr. Gray, Stephen Gray and I'm the opera workshop and musical theatre teacher here. If you don't mind me saying so, you have an amazing voice and I call tell that you have had some training. I do hope that you have enrolled in my opera workshop for I can see the talent that you would bring to it. I'm not certain if the young lady was as impressed by your voice but I was."

Dana - April 1, 2006 02:39 PM (GMT)
Christine Owen

Freckles? Did he just call me freckles?

Christine was about to say something back about the talent comment. "Well, than..."

And then he was gone! So that was how it was going to be? He goes and embarasses her in front of the academy. Then he tries to be nice to her and apologize. And then he sings to her from her favorite musical of all to get her swooning....and leaves.

Now she was angry. Wonderful voice or not, Noah in her mind had just taken her for a fool! She had gotten all caught up in his sweet voice and italian only to be taken for a ride.

She walked over to the double doors and stopped. She knew now that she couldn't go back inside until the others left. She wouldn't be able to stand all the eyes following her as she walked back inside. She took a step over on the other side of the doors, waiting for people to start coming out.

phantom - April 1, 2006 03:23 PM (GMT)
Noah tightened his lips, then decided to let out an appreciative laugh; "Well Sir, in all honestly, anybody who compliments me has my soul to mould - and mould it you shall!" He laughed, heartily shaking the mans hand.

"And let me just say, that was nothing." He whispered, grinning, flashing those white teeth. "I have had some experience, but alas, never the roles I want to play. So, hopefully you can teach me one or two things."

He glanced to the double doors, half expecting Christine to walk through. Looking back to Mr.Grey he still had his hand, expecting the man to say something else to Noah before exploring the rest of the Academy.

Dana - April 1, 2006 03:36 PM (GMT)
Mr. Gray

"And apparently an ego to boot?" Mr. Gray replied. "The stage is definitely where you belong. I shall do my best to teach you wherever you left off. I have some experience in both opera and musical theatre so I shall do what I can to pass it onto you. And who knows? Perhaps in the end...you shall teach me? I am one that believes teachers can learn much from their students. Not to mention, I notice your accent which tells me you most likely have not come from America. I would be most anxious to see how teaching from outside of America compares to here. I shall look forward to hearing you in voice and movement. And do hope you take up my offer on opera workshop. What name should I be looking for on my list?"

phantom - April 1, 2006 03:41 PM (GMT)
Noah raised his eyebrows. Hell, maybe leaving England was the right decision, afterall now he was closer to Phillip and they the folk certainly seemed more pleasant than in Scotland;

"Irons, Noah Irons. I look forward to hearing from you." Noah stepped back and took a small bow before heading off the stage with the pack offered to him with the Academy's map, and was about to head out before realising he needed to ask one thing from Mr.Gray. Quickly moving to the man again he asked;

"Where's the nearest phone? Airport "misplaced" my luggage. Cause I'm Scottish, they expect me to be carrying a bomb! It'll take a few days to get back, but phoning the buggering airport again should give me some idea of what to expect."

Dana - April 1, 2006 04:16 PM (GMT)
Mr. Gray

"Noah Irons." Mr. Gray replied. "Well, I shall most definitely make a mental note of that name. As for what the airport did to your luggage, it doesn't surprise me. It happens to Americans too and we live here! But seriously there is a phone in the administration office if you need to use it. Or...I believe there is still a pay phone located by the cafe as well. I do hope you get that problem with your luggage straightened out. Keep on them, that's what I would say. And I assure you that you shall not have problems like that here. If you do have any problems with students, just let us know and we will take care of it. We don't tolerate that here as you will read in your manual." He paused. "Well, I shall leave you to attend to your luggage and see you tomorrow in class, Mr. Irons." He shook his hand again.

phantom - April 1, 2006 04:39 PM (GMT)
"Of course Sir, many thanks." Noah shook Mr.Grays hand and stepped off stage, the manual in his hand. Many people in the theatre were beginning to disband, some in groups, some alone, all with the packets of information in their hands. Stepping into the hallway, he leant against the wall, and took two pills from his pocket, swallowing them whole with his bottle of water. His face creased as the pills went down his throat. Shaking his head he toasted to the theatre; "Here's to you." He muttered, before moving down the corridor, at a slow pace, half hoping to catch a glimpse of Christine.

It would take Noah a while to talk to the young lady again; her ways both subtle and confusing intrigued Noah - he had not come across someone of her status before. So quiet, but with such a rare gift to her name. It was odd to think of himself as someone who had become dumbstruck over a woman.

Noah stood in another corridor, wondering where next to go. With an approaching head ache, it would do him any favours to go to somewhere as noisy as a cafe. So, heading to the administration office was his best and safest bet. Looking at the map it did not take him long to find out where he was going - but he paused for a quick sit down all the same, massaging his temples and wincing from the pain in his head.

"That's what Italian'll do to you." He joked quietly, sure no one was listening - "Either that or a young woman named Christine Owen."

Christine Owen with Cameo by Fox Owen :P

Christine moved away from the door and watched as Noah walked out. Well, at least he was gone from there...but it still didn't mean the rest were. She then heard a ringing coming from her pocket and pulled out her cell. She smiled as she recognized the number and answered it. "Hello, Fox."

"Hey Red. How's it goin'?" Fox asked. "Just wanted to make sure that you made it to the academy ok?"

"Yeah, I made it here. Not quite sure what I think of it yet but...I'm here." Christine then knew how she could get in, grab her packet and leave. She opened the doors and made her way inside with the cell still in her ear.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that I already feel like I don't belong here." Christine replied as she briskly made her way up the aisleway and toward the stage.

"Red, you just got there. You can't just make a judgment on it based on that."

Christine picked up her packet quickly off the stage. "Yeah, well you aren't here, are you?" She made her way back toward where she had left her luggage and duffle bag. "I feel like a nerd here, Fox."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that people were here introducing themselves and was sitting and going through my aria book." She grabbed her luggage and duffle bag, heading out the double doors. "I'm telling you, Fox this is going to be just like high school."

"Well, do me a favor and don't get so down on yourself ok? I'm not that far from you and we can see each other this weekend. I bet by this weekend you will have a completely different attitude than you do now. Just keep your chin up...for me?"

Christine sighed as she walked. "Fine, for you. So what about you? What are you up to?"

"Me? Oh I'm just wandering around the academy aimlessly and looking for something to eat. I have some nice roommates so I think this will be good."

"Any girls?"

Fox remained silent.

"Fox? You aren't answering me."

"Listen, I'll talk to you later ok?"

"Fox Owen, don't you dare hang up on me!"

"Bye Red."

"Fox?" Christine sighed as she hung up her cell. "Brothers." She muttered as she looked at a paper from her packet. "Guess, I'd better find out where my dorm room is first to get rid of this luggage."

Angelica looked at her pack and took out the map of the accademy. She surveyed the map trying to decided on the best move, then looking across she saw her luggage, there was her pink snake skin suitcase and har duffel bag and she still had another duffel bag in the trunk of her car

*Well i suppose i should get this lot away before i go exploring * she thought as she looked down at the map to work out where her dorm room was.

The dorm room looked easy enough to find so she slid her pack into the back pocket of her jeans, picked up her luggagte and headed pout to her car to collect her other duffel bag.

he opened the trunk of her car, removed the bag and closed the trunk again. Placing the bag on the floor she removed the map from her pocket and getting her bearings headed off to her dorm room.

Taylor

Taylor was amuzed. Well at least she knew now that this place wasn't going to get boring. Everyone here seemed nice enough, and unboring. Smiling to herself, she headed towards the stage and picked up the packet with all the infromation she needed. Without even glancing at it, she headed back to where she had been sitting and picked up her two duffle bags.

It wasn't until she was out of the theater that Taylor looked insdie the packet. It had a map, the class schedule, her room number. Sighing she lugged her bags through the hallways, looking for her room, with the help of the map of course.

Jyra walked with a onfidence most people would expect from a tall beautiful blonde, ut there was a look of worry i her eyes. She looked back, seeing Spencer standing by the car waving. She smiled a little and waved back. "We are a phone call away hunni." he called out. She nodded, not dareing to open her mouth, afraid of what might come out.

She stopped by a corner just near the hall where she was ment to be. She took a deep breath and fixed her already purfect light curls. She closed her eyes, taking a moment to compose herself. Pulling her trunk along behnd her she stepped out and looked like she belonged at this school, not liuke te scared child she felt like inside.

She saw someone outside, talking on the phone, she half raised a hand in a welcoming wave, but decided not to desturb her. She pushed open the doors and stood in the doorway fro a moment, looking at all the heads. A few turned to look back at her as they started to disband and make their way to other parts of the school.

'Nothing like being late on your first day.' she thought to herself. She caught the attention pf te first person to meet her gaze. "Hi." she said in a bright bubbly voice. "I'm Jyra, and have no idea where we are ment to be... any help?"

Lynn

"No!" Lynn answered with a laugh. She had just gotten here herself and was just watching all the other students as they exchanged words, not really knowing what to do. She was going out of her mind with nervousness but she still had a pure hapiness that she was actually here. She just couldn't believe it.

"I was just going to go look around though. You wanna come? I'm Lynn by the way." she said with a nod and a small smile.
