Noah sat down in a crumpled heap, and tried his best to be steady, to sit up straight. "Christine." He said, focusing on a blurred figure in front of himself - although clearly not Christine. "Where is she?" Noah asked more forcefully, looking around and moaning.
He would not answer questions untill he had answers - what had happened? And was she safe.
"WHERE?!"

Nurse
"Now just calm down." The nurse replied as she tried to ease Noah down on the bed. "You need to lie down. Who is this Christine? Is she the young lady that was with you when I came upon you? If so, she is still in the theatre with another young man." She paused. "Now, who is this Dr. Stanley?"
phantom - April 8, 2006 06:46 PM (GMT)
Noah's pale face took a serious look to it. "Get. Her." He demanded. What had happened to him was familiar, but impossible. He was not going to go through that again, not now, not while he had this chance to be happy. Why would the Powers that Be do this to him? WHY?
"Dr.Stanley... He knows. He knows about.... I can't say... He needs to be HERE. He knows"
Noah grabbed the nurses wrists, not violently, but pleadingly - she had to do something for him - enough questions.

Nurse
"All...all right, Sir. I'll go look him up in your student records." The nurse replied reassuringly as she managed to free her wrists. "And I will go fetch that young lady for you. But first...I need to know your name." She paused. "Your first and last name, Sir. What is your name?"

Christine watched as Nick left the theatre. "I want to be your friend too, Nick. And I can't wait to have those ballet lessons."
She was glad that it appeared that Nick was not angry at her. The last thing she wanted to do was have some enemies here at the academy. She decided that once Noah's doctor arrived that she would go back to Nick's room to see if he was still around and take that tour.
She made her way to the first aid room and walked inside. "Hello?" Stepping inside she walked toward a back room where she saw Noah lying on a bed with his eyes closed. "Noah?" She walked to the side of bed and got on her knees, taking his hand. "I don't understand just why you feel that you need me but...I'm here."

Noah had recovered from falling unconsious, yet kept his eyes closed, even when Christine walked in, and held his hand. Part of him, the more mature part, appreciated her concern and confusion. But - of course, there was that nagging feeling of this Nick. He obviously liked Christine, and Noah did not want to just claim her as his - but he still had that sinking feeling that something might happen between the two of them. Deciding to wake up to her face, he slowly opened his eyes, underestimating the light, and shut them again, wincing. Opening them again more slowly, his fingers twitched in her hand. But what to say to her? What could he say that would make a difference to her annoyance?
"This... This wasn't meant to happen." He said, sitting up, and undoing a button on his shirt for comfort, rubbing his back.
"It isn't fair. This wasn't meant to happen Christine. Not again. I... I don't know what to do - " His words were slurred and his head still throbbing.
"- Things would be less complicated if I went, eh? I think Nick would like that." Noah smiled softly, looking at Christine, his words clearly meaning nothing - a joke from earlier when he had snapped.
"But would you like that?" He smiled again, this time broader, rubbing his head and yawning. It seemed like evening was fast approaching, his body was adjusting to the new room's light and temperature, leaving him slightly disorientated from loss of time.

Christine felt Noah's hand twitch and looked over at him. "Noah?"
She was relieved to see that he appeared to be awake. "Wasn't meant to happen....again?" She asked after his first words. So something like this had happened to him before? Just what had she triggered in him then?
She continued to listen to him as he tried to sit up. "Noah, you should just lie down and take it easy." She pushed him down gently. "You're slurring your words and rambling." She paused. "You know something? I don't believe I have ever met a guy that went so much out of his way to try and impress me before. And not only that but refused to give up even after I said such harsh words to him. Not to mention that if you left....where would I find another phantom buddy? I would like to have you as a friend, Noah. I...I somehow feel that we could learn things from each other. But...I want you to understand that I want to be friends with Nick too. He's reallly not a bad guy, Noah."

Noah tried to resist Christine and her hands pushing his back down, but soon gave in to her compassion;
"I know Christine. But I have feeling he'll want something more from you. I have a feeling he won't be the only one."
Lying back down he sighed - ill again? What if this time was more serious? And why did they not have a nurse that was easy on the eyes?

Phillip Irons - Noahs older brother.
Phillip reached into his leather jacket and answered his ringing mobile phone; "Phillip Irons, how can I help?" He asked in a bored tone. Phone calls is all he got it seemed. And not even positive ones at that - Noah's silly phone call being a perfect example.
"Mr Irons? This is the nurse in Over the Rainbow Dramatics Academy - I'm speaking on behalf of your brother, Noah Irons."
"Oh yeah?" Phillip said, raising his eyebrow like his sibling. "Whats the runt gone and done now. Don't tell me he's knocked someone up already? What is it, a boy or girl?"
"Ehem, sir, he has some kind of seizure, and currently resides in first aid." She replied, all too curtly.
"Oh has he now? Not faking it? I see... Well, thanks for that." Phillip was about to hang up, if it wasn't for the high pitched screams on the other end of the line;
"How dare you Sir! I demand you come here right now and see him! He is your brother!"
Rolling his eyes, Phillip checked his watch; "Well, I can be there in a couple of hours - but I shan't be staying long. I have a flight to catch tonight, I DO NOT want to be late. Cheerio."
He sighed. Noah had a seizure? Impossible. He was faking it, must be faking it.
Right?
Phillip his a few more numbers, and held his phone to his ear; "Sarah? It's Phillip. Where did you say you were? Only, dear lover boy Noah has himself in a bit of a pickle. Pick you up? What, now? Fine. Don't be late."

"Noah, you shouldn't say things like that." Christine replied. "Remember that not every guy wants to make every girl he meets his girlfriend. When I was in high school, I was considered a nerd because I was in choir and drama. Sure, I still had some guys try for me because I was considered pretty but...I always pushed them away. But...I have devoted all my time to my talent, Noah. I won't let any one even if they are guy, take that away from me. As for Nick...well it just so happens that he is a ballet dancer which is something I like. I swear to you there is nothing more than that." She paused. "I just....I want us all to be friends, Noah. I think we can all learn a lot from each other. And as for other guys? Trust me, I'm a big girl and know how to take care of myself." She tilted her head and smiled. "Let's just say that being Irish tends to make me a little less tolerant of persistent jerks and more than one have ended up on the ground."
phantom - April 11, 2006 05:21 PM (GMT)
Noah continued smiling, but inside he knew what he felt was accurate. Yes, Christine would not fall for the first guy she met. But Nick was only human, and not at all immune to her charm - he wasn't blind. As he was about to argue further, the doors burst open, the sound penetrating his sensitive hearing. Clasping his hands to his ears, he found himself falling out of the bed into Christine, in a clumsy fashion.
He looked up, and pushed away from Christine, a locke of her hair in his mouth. Feeling like an idiot, he got back onto the bed and coughed. "What the hell?" He moaned, looking at the nurse, who was in a state.
"Your brother! He's a fool!" She shouted, making Noah twist his head and wince.
"I know, but calm down!" He said, flapping his arms for her to be quiet.
"And I get to meet this fool later! He will be here by night. Now, I want quiet in my office, you there." She said, pointing a finger to Christine. "This boy needs rest, kindly leave."
"I don't need rest! I'm fine! Want to see my tap dance? I've been known for my ball room dancing? Latin American? Name it, I can dance to it! Get off me!" He growled as the nurse covered him in blankets.
"You look like a salsa girl to me. Look at that muscle." He muttered under his breath, looking at Christine and giving an evil smile.

Christine smiled back at Noah, glad to see that after all of the drama taking place, she could still make him smile. Her brother had told her that she always had that effect on people, especially him.
Her thoughts had been interrupted as the door burst open and Noah ended up falling toward her. She could feel his breath on her neck and was relieved when he pushed himself back. And the nurse speaking to him, gave her a few moments to take some breaths and recover herself.
"Noah, she's right. You do need your rest. After all, tomorrow is the first day of classes and you surely don't want to miss that. It's not like we won't see each other again."

"Nurse? NURSE! Where the hell... NURSE!" Noah shouted, disregarding the pain in his head. "You made her leave..." He whispered, looking where Christine had been sat. Sighing he sat back up, and looked for a magazine to read. Humming more Phantom of the Opera, he began to play naughts and crosses with himself. "I win. I also lose." He muttered under his breath - making doodles on his hand.
"Pfft.... Didn't want you anyway, Butch."
