Rosalind Schuster

After her encounter with Philip at the Academy Office, Rosalind was nauseated. She couldn't stand men like him who thought they could get any girl they wished. She had a feeling that she was one of the few girls who had actually given him an attitude but she didn't care. After all, it was what made her unique when it came to guys. At least he wasn't a student there.

She made her way to dorm room #7 and knocked. "Hello?" Receiving no answer, she stepped inside to find it empty. "Hmm it appears that I'm not the only one who was running late today."

She walked over to a bed and set her luggage on it. Opening her duffle bag, she took out a small boom box and plugged it in after setting it on a dresser. She then took out a classical CD and placed it inside the boom box.

Taking out a sketch book, she did some drawings of costumes as the strains of Mozart echoed in the room.

Roxanne walked inside the administrative building, holding many duffle bags. She hope she was not late. She had just gotten her letter of acceptance the other day. She looked through her letters she received for the page that said whcih room she was in.

"Room #7. Your roomate is Rosalind Schuster," said Roxanne as she read the letter aloud to herself.

Roxanne had hoped for a single room, but it didn't matter to her that much. She sighed as she signed in and walked up to her room.

Room 7. Seven is such an interesting number. Seven days in a week, seven days of Creation. Seven is a lucky number for some people. I wonder why.

As she thought these things, she walked into her room to find a , drawing and Mozart playing in the room. Roxanne smiled.

"Hello! I am Roxanne. Called me Roxi. You must be Rosalind Schuster. Sorry if I mispronounce your name."

She hummed a little tune as she walked inside and put her bags on the empty bed. She looked at the clock.

"Um, sorry to bother you as you sketch, but, do you know what time we need to be in the Theatre room?"

Rosalind looked up from her sketching. "Oh, you aren't bothering me at all. And you didn't mispronounce my name either." She reached out her hand. "Nice to meet you, Roxi. You can call me Rose for short. Hope you don't mind classical music, it helps me to be creative. I take it you missed orientation too huh? Glad I wasn't the only one. I looked at my student packet and according to it, we don't start classes until tomorrow. I guess they want us to get to know this place on our first day. Not to mention that we can't have an excuse for not being able to find our classrooms huh?" She gave a smirk.

Roxi smiled. "I love classical music. I prefer show tunes such as Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, or RENT."

Roxi crossed to the wardrobe and startd unpacking and re-organizing.

"I'm glad that classes start tomorrow. I only just got my letter of acceptence. What about you? Why were you late?"

"Oh? Well, I like show tunes as well. Sometimes though, when it comes to me working on my sketches, I need specific pieces. I guess you could say they sometimes...speak to me on what I put on paper."

She grinned and briefly started sketching again. "As for why I was late? Well, I guess I just got too caught up in my life to remember that I had an academy to go to. But seriously, I was helping our local theatre group with some costumes and we had a little snag which delayed me. In case you didn't know I'm a costume designer and seamstress."
