Richie walked down the hallway looking at the room numbers first he noticed No 4 so he knew where to head later then he found room 8

He opened the door and lloked aroung the room didn't seem as thoug it had been entered

Score he said No room mate, that means plenty of peace and quiet

He unpacked and headed off to find Angi

Richie stormed into the room, grabbed his bag from under his bed and began to throw his stuff into it he grabbed his cell

steve you were right, this is a bad idea i'm coming home

Don't be stupid mate, you love this girl, stick at it

Its no use i'm coming back he said slamming the phone down. he continued to empty his stuff into his bag.

Gavin

He walked with a stance of money and power, but also there was something about him that mad you wonder if he had any momeny at all. The rip in his jeans and the fadedblack shirt he wore...well wasn't something his parents would had approved of.

"But they ant here are they." he said to himelf as she walked down the hallways. He had been to the ofice and recieved his pacage of junk they always give you when you come to a new school. He looked at the paper. "Room eight..." he murmured, finally coming to it.

He stepped in and saw a guy packing up his things quickly. "Leaving already? I believe we don't go on holidays for a while longer." he smiled and sat on the bed oppiste the guy. "Gavin, by the way...and you are?"

She walked down the coridor and into room #8

the door was open, i didn't think you'd mind she said and then she noticed the other lad in the room

oh, I'm sorry to intrude she said i just came to bring ths back she smiled at the other lad and walked over to Rich

you left in a bit of a hurry, and you forgot this she looked at Richie who seemed to be ignoring her, she grabbed his arm

look, we need to talk no why dont you finish unpacking she said knowing her was doin precisely the opposite and meet me in the Cafe for a drink in say 20 minutes

She headed towards the door on the way she passed Richie's room-mate,

Sorry about that she said I'm Angelica by the way. Angelica Bloom she said extending her hand

Gavin

Gavin pushed a hand through his hair and felt like an intruder, which he probably was, as a pretty girl entered and spoke to his roomie.

"Oh, yea..." he said, pulled from his thoughts as she introduced herself. "Wiseman, Gavin Wiseman." he said, shaking her hand. "Trouble in paradise huh?" he asked, indicating to the guy who was still kinda ignoring them both.

Angelica smiled at Gavin, well Gavin it's nice to meet you

she laughed at what he said next.

yeah, you could say that she said looking at Richie

anyway she said i'd better be goin, you know places to go people to see

she walked out of the room and down towards the theatre.

Gavin

Gavin waved as she left, watching her, lettin his eyes travel her body. He whistled and nodded aprovingly. "Seems like something I wouldn't want to loose." he said as she disappeared from view.

Shrugging, he turned back to his own things and finished off unpacking his things.

He turned to his case and began to unpack his things again. When he ha finished he turned to his room-mate who was unpacking.

the names Richard he said extending his hand Richard Davin, but you can call me Richie or Rich

He laughed hard enough starting in a new school without my girlfriend causing a scene in front of my new room mate talk about getting off on the wrong foot hey..?

Gavin

He chuckled nodding as he agreed with Richard. "Yeah, talk about pressure. But she seemed kinda upset over...whatever you guys were fighting about." He stuck his hand out and shook Richards. "Gavin Wiseman." he said firmly as they shook. He let go f his hand and took his suitcase from the bed, closing it and putting it under his bed.

"But call me Gav if you like, Rich."

"So what happened between you guys? You know, if you wanna share..."

its ok he said its a stupid misunderstanding blown out of all proportion really

He walked across the room and sat down on the bed

well we met and got together in high school, at the time it was nothing, y'know she was just some other chick, but then i startefd to fall for her and the before I knew it I couldn't bear to be without her

He looked over at Gavin

well it came to graduation and she'd applied to this drama school and been accepted, and I had my scholarship for a local sports academy back in Detroit, we started talking about how our relationship was gonna pan out and next thing i knew she was fuming at me saying that I didn't understand her and that she couldn't believe that i would make her choose between her career and us

after that we didn't talk all summer, but I started to get kinda paranoid about her getiing with some other guy while she was here, I decided to audition and here I am.. I don't know what i'd have done if i hadn't got in

"Dude, that is just stupid. All this stress for a girl?" he held his hands up in a defencive position and smiled a little. "Oh I know you were inlove and stuff, so I can understand...but you do realise that somethings happen because they have to. You know like fate or whatever." He put his hands down and shook his head before running a hand through his dark slightly spiked hair.

"But you have reason to worry Rich, she is a beautiful girl." He nodded. "yep, plenty of guys wouln't mind. but take it easy with her. I have learnt a few things my man about girls, and one is when they get upset, they get upset for awhile. Maybe you should let her calm down a bit."

Richie Loked at Gavin.

Yeah i suppose you're right man, I know its kinda stupid but I can't help the way that I feel

He said getting up and sliding his case under the bed

Anyway man I better go and meet her don't wanna upset her any more than I already have, I'll see you around Gav

He left the room and headed down to the cafe

Gavin watched him leave, shaking his head. "Whatever." he muttered as he turned to leave as well, locking the door behind him.

"Might as well explore." he said softly to himself
